Introduction and Specification
2.1 Specification
The system is designed to observe surroundings and assist parking, including a
monitor& a camera, and other accessories needed to install. It requires 12-24V
DC power to work. To avoid damage caused by electricity shock or improper
installation, we recommend a qualified and experienced engineer to install the
system for you.

- Open the Rubber Cover which included Pairing Button& Type-C Charge Port. Please fully charge the camera before using via the charge port (At least 6 hours). The system was paired to the monitor ex-factory. If not, please use a thin stick long press the little button here to re-paired.

Full Power| The light is off - Indicator Light ofPairing, when pairing is in progress, the light will flashing in green. The light will stay in green if it was pairing successfully. The light will be off if the screen off. Pairing method please refers to 4.1 Pairing Setting
- Camera, the lens can be up 15 degrees and down 45 degrees. The camera has a bracket that can be fixed to the license plate, and the camera can be easily installed or removed by pushing. Please refers to 2.4 Camera Bracke
- Solar Panel, Automatic charging is possible when there is no shade and is illuminated by light.
2.3 Introduction of Monitor
2.3.1 Icons on the screen
- Signal Reception: this camera has signal.
- Camera battery status
- Solar charging is in progress
2.3.2 Buttons on the monitor
- There are six buttons on the top of the monitor.
- From left to right:Power button/ + button/ – button/ CH button/ M button/ S button.
- Installation method refers to 2.4 Introduction ofAccessories
| Power Button| Press it to wake up the monitor when needed, then the camera
will shows the reverse scene automatically. Turn off when no need, then save
the camera’s energy.

| CH Button| CH button is used for DIY parking guidelines.
Press CH button to enter the H(height)/W(width)/ M(movement) state, then you
could press +/ – button to adjust the view of the parking guidelines.
CH button can also turn on/ off the display of the guidelines.
| M Button| 1. Press M button to enter/ exit the system menu.
2. In the Image setting menu, M button can be the selection button

2.4 Introduction ofAccessories
2.4.1 Monitor activate button
- The activate button was paired to the monitor ex-factory. You need to re-pair to the monitor if lost paired, please refers to 4.1 Pairing Setting
- Press the button to activate the monitor when you need to view back.
2.4.2 Car Charger
- Provide power for the monitor via inserting the car charger to the cigarette lighter.
- With red button to turn on/ off the power
2.4.3 Suction Cup Mount
- The fixed mount on the back of the monitor, as Pic 1.
- Place the plastic nut on the back of the monitor, as Pic 2.
- Insert the suction cup bracket’s ball on the fixed bracket, as Pic 3.
- After adjusting the bracket to the proper angle, tighten the plastic nut clockwise.
- Place the suction cup bracket and fixed it as the picture shows.
2.4.4 Glued Simple Holder
- The second kit for install the monitor.
2.4.5 Camera Bracket
- Remove the screws from license plate, place the camera bracket on the surface of the plate. The direction as below, notice the position of L. The screw holes on each sides correspond to the holes of the plate and fixed it by using the suitable screws.
- Keeping the camera close to the bracket ( Notice: logo on the top left side).
- Push the camera hardly from right to left, to the fixed position as the picture shows. ( Notice: the clip of the bracket was on the top of the sign of lock)
- Adjust the camera to the proper angle and get the best view.
- Place the extra kit on the right side of the clip, push the extra kit from right to left hardly, then the camera will loose from the bracket. (Reminder: here use the screw driver)
2.4.6 Antenna
- It’s used to strengthen the signal connection between the camera and the monitor.
- It needs to be installed behind the monitor before pairing.
- The signal can be affected by various factors, such as the surrounding area and metallic substances, ifyou experience a weak signal, please contact us for extension antenna for free.
2.4.7 USB to Type-C Cable & Adapter
- Charge the camera via the charger and cable.
- Charge the camera from portable power bank according the cable.
- Power up the monitor via the cable.
2.4.8 Screws
- It’s used to fix the camera bracket to the license plate.
- If these screws don’t fit your license plate, please contact us for help or search the suitable screws from your local Home Depot, then let us Know the types of the screw, thanks in advance!
Installation Guide
3.1 Make an Installation Plan
3.1.2 Pre-Use Testing
- Please test the system and confirm it can work well before installing on your vehicle.
- Open the package and take out all the kits.
- The camera was on Sleep Mode, it will lack ofpower before you received it. Charge the camera via charging port fully. (confirmation method refers to FQA 2 and 2.2 Introduction of Camera–Indicator Light ofPower)
- Install the antenna on the monitor and camera.
- Power the monitor via USB to Type-C cable.
- The camera will shows image on the monitor automatically, because camera was paired to the monitor ex-factory. If not, please refer to 4.1 Pairing Setting
3.1.3 Installation of Monitor

Install the suction cup mount on the monitor and adjust the angle. Refers to 2.4.3 Suction Cup Mount.

Install the antenna as picture shows, please keep straight the antenna to strengthen the reception ifhas delay.

Connect the monitor to power
Method 1: Insert the USB to Type-C cable, then connect the USB port to get power the monitor.
Method 2: Use the Car charger to power the monitor, and turn on the red button. -
Press the power button on the monitor.
3.1.4 Installation of Camera
- Charge the camera fully before using.
- Install method refers to 2.4.4 Camera Bracket.
- Remove method refers to the fifth point of 2.4.4 Camera Bracket.
- Notice: the position ofL/ the position of the logo.
- Adjust the viewing angle once finished installation.

Primary Menu
- Pairing: Camera/ Monitor activate button
- Image Parameters: Brightness/ Contrast/ Saturation
- Image Rotation: Normal/ Mirror/ Flip/ Mirror Flip
- Screen Saver: If turn on 45s/ 60s/ 90s, it will enter Sleep Mode to protect the screen after timeout.
- Parking Guidelines: ON/ OFF
- Note: If enter the image setting page by mistake, press S button to exit the secondary menu, then press M button to exit the menu page. Other secondary menu can press M button to exit.
4.1 Pairing Setting
-
The system was paired to the monitor ex-factory. If not, please use a thin stick long press the little button here to re-paired. We recommend you finish pairing before installing on your vehicle, because it always to be paired within 3 ft. 1. Camera Pairing
2. Monitor Activate Pairing -
Before Paring Camera
1. Make sure the monitor was installed the antenna and turn it on.
2. Please fully charge the camera before using.
3. Let the camera very closed to the monitor, always within 3 ft. -
Pairing Method 1:
If you need to do it manually, please follow below steps:
1. Power up the monitor.
2. Open the rubber cover on the pairing button of the camera, and long press it with a thin stick until the system is paired and the flash green light stays on. -
Pairing Method 2:
If it’s still not paired when finished the method 1, then follow below steps:
1. Press M button to enter menu page.
2. Press S button to select the first icon: Pairing
3. Press S button to select the first icon: Camera Pairing
4. Open the rubber cover on the pairing button of the camera, and long press it with a thin stick until the system is paired and the flash green light stays on. -
Monitor Activate Pairing
1. Press M button to enter menu page.
2. Press S button to select the first icon: Pairing
3. Press + button to move the the second icon: Monitor Activate Pairing, then press S button to select it.
4. It will appear OK when it was paired successfully.
4.2 Image Parameters

Setting Method:
1. Press M button to enter menu page.
2. Press + button to move the the second icon: Image setting, then press S button to select it.
3. Press M button to move to brightness/ contrast/ saturation, it means the function selection when stays on the icon.
4. Press +/ – button to set the image parameters.
5. Press S button to exit the secondary menu.
6. Press M button to exit the menu page. -
If enter the image setting page by mistake, press S button to exit the secondary menu, then press M button to exit the menu page.
4.3 Image Rotation
- Setting Method:
1. Press M button to enter menu page.
2. Press + button to move the the third icon: Image setting, then press S button to select it.
3. Press +/ – button to move to Normal/ Mirror/ Flip/ Mirror-flip, it means the function selection when stays on the icon.
4. Press M button to exit.
4.4 Screen Saver

Setting Method:
1. Press M button to enter menu page.
2. Press +/ – button to move the the forth icon then press S button to select the forth icon: Screen Saver.
3. Press +/ – button to move to Normal/ Mirror/ Flip/ Mirror-flip, it means the function selection when stays on the icon.
4. Press M button to exit. -
When you select turn off the screen saver setting, it will speed up the power consumption and the service life of the camera’s battery.

When you set one of the fixed time for the screen saver, you need to press the monitor activate button or the power button on the top ofmonitor to light it up. You can stick the button to the steering wheel or a more convenient place for easy access.
4.2.5 Parking Guidelines: ON/ OFF

Setting Method 1:
1. Press M button to enter menu page.
2. Press +/ – button to move the the fifth icon then press S button to select the forth icon: Parking Guidelines.
3. Press +/ – button to move to ON/ OFF, it means the function selection when stays on the icon.
4. Press M button to exit. -
Setting Method 2:
1. Press CH button can turn on or off the parking guidelines.
2. The status without parking guidelines,
2.1 Press CH button once, the parking guidelines will be turn on and it will appear H.
2.2 Press CH button second times, it will appear W.
2.3 Press CH button third times, it will appear M.
2.4 Press CH button forth times, the parking guidelines will be turn off. -
Set the shape and place of the parking guidelines
3.1 Press +/ – button to move up and down when the parking guidelines appeared H.
3.2 Press +/ – button to set its width when the parking guidelines appeared W.
3.3 Press +/ – button to move left and right when the parking guidelines appeared M.
Frequency Question & Answer
1. When the system wasn’t work normally, please follow below steps to troubleshoot.
1.1. Full charge the camera at least 8 hours 1.2. Then power the camera and monitor, to see whether it can pair automatically. 1.3. If not, please re-pair the camera to monitor in the close distance. Refers to 4.1 Pairing Setting
2. How to confirm the camera was full power?
Answer: The indicator light of power will be flashing in red when is low power, stay red when charging, the indicator light turns off when the power is sufficient.
3. How to make sure that the camera had paired to the monitor?
Answer: When the pairing is successful, the indicator light will stay in green. When the screen is off, the indicator light is off.
4. How to confirm the monitor gets power?
Answer: Connect to other power source to confirm whether it gets power or use the voltage tester to confirm whether the monitor was gets power, try to use the other car charger to confirm whether the car charger was damaged.
5. Why does the camera can only work with monitor in the close distance?
Answer: Please search us for help via sales2@erapta.com , then we will send out the extension antenna to you which can strengthen the signal reception and solve the issues of delay, it is without cost.
6. Why does the monitor activate button not match and not work?
Answer: The monitor activate button needs to be connected to the screen. So this activate button has a lithium battery inside. Therefore, it may have run out of the battery when the activate button is not working. Replace the battery and pair it with the monitor again then it will work properly. You can contact us if it have run out of the battery or still not working.
7. Why the monitor display “no connecting” or “no signal”?
Answer: Firstly, please confirm the camera has power,you could power it via type-c cable if you can't confirm. Secondly, power the monitor to confirm whether it shows image automatically in the close distance. If not, you could try to re-pair the camera to monitor.
8. The camera was always on sleep mode, please fully charge it before using.
