2. Introduction and Specification
2.1 Specification
The eRapta solar wireless backup camera system is designed to
observe surroundings and assist parking. It includes a monitor, a
camera, and other accessories needed for installation. The system
requires 12-24 Volt Direct Current power to operate. To ensure
proper installation and avoid damage caused by electricity shock,
we recommend hiring a qualified and experienced engineer.
2.2 Introduction to Camera
The camera features a pair button and a power screen. To pair
the camera, open the rubber cover and long press the pair button
with a thin stick. The camera has a Type-C charging port for
charging its battery using 12-volt direct current power. The
battery usually takes 4-6 hours to fully charge. An indicator light
on the camera shows the power status. When the battery is low, the
indicator light flashes in red. During charging, the light remains
red. When the battery is sufficient, the light turns off.
2.3 Introduction to Monitor
2.3.1 Icons on the Screen

2.3.2 Buttons on the Monitor
The monitor has six buttons on the top. From left to right, they
are POWER, +, -, CH, M, S. Please refer to the operation
instructions to learn their functions.

Power On/Off: Press this button to light up
the screen and automatically connect the camera to show the reverse
scene when reversing or needing to use the reverse system. When all
settings are exited, including the reversing line setting, press
this button again when the screen is lit to turn off the screen and
automatically disconnect it from the camera. -
Right/Increase: When entering the menu, use
this button to select different options.

2. Introduction and Specification
2.1 Specificaon
The system is designed to observe surroundings and assist parking, including a
monitor, a camera, and other accessories needed to install. It requires 12-24
Volt Direct Current power to work. To avoid damage caused by electricity shock
or improper installaon, we recommend a qualified and experienced engineer to
install the system for you.
2.2 Introducon to Camera
Pair buon. Power screen, open the rubber cover, and long press it with a thin
sck can achieve pairing. Type-C Charging port. You can charge the camera’s
baery using 12 volt direct current power through this port. Usually, the baery
can be fully charged in 4-6 hours. Indicator Light of Power. When the baery is
low, the indicator light will be flashing in red. When charging, the light
will stay red. When the baery is sufficient, the

indicator light is off. Indicator Light of Pairing. Usually the camera will
pair automacally, otherwise select the pair opon and pair them manually. When
Pairing is in progress, the light will be flashing in green. When the pairing
is successful, the light will stay in green. When the screen is off, the light
is off. Camera. This camera is adjustable. You can adjust the lens 60 degrees
up and down to obtain the view you want. The camera has a bracket that can be
fixed to the license plate, and the camera can be easily installed or removed
by pushing. See Part 3 – Installaon Guide. Solar panel. Automac charging is
possible when there is no shade and is illuminated by light.

2.3.1 Icons on the screen

There are 6 buons on the top of the monitor. From le to right, they are POWER,
+, -, CH, M, S. Please read the operaon Instrucons carefully to learn their
funcons.

Power on/ off
When you are reversing or need to use the reverse system,
press
to light up the screen and it will automacally
connect the camera to show the reverse scene. When all
sengs are exited, including the reversing line seng, press
when the screen is lit, the screen will turn off and
it will automacally disconnect the screen from the camera.

Right/Increase
When entering the menu, you can select different opons by
pressing
to move to the right, or pressing – to move
to the le, and you can choose the opons by pressing S.
When entering the image sengs, you can increase the
parameters by pressing
and decrease it by pressing -.

is used for DIY reversing line. There are four opons to
adjust the reverse line by pressing

width W, posion M, and cancel the reverse line. In the H
state, the height of the reversing line can be adjusted by
pressing +, -. In the W state, the width of the reversing line
can be adjusted by pressing +, -. In the M state, the le and
right posion of the reversing line can be adjusted by pressing
+, -.

2.4 Introducon to Accessories
2.4.1 Monitor acvate buon
1. It’s used to light up the screen when you need to see through camera. 2.
It needs to be paired with the monitor before use. Normally, the Pairing is
done Before leaving our factory. But you need to repair the buon if it lost
paired. See 4.2 for details on how to pair.
2.4.2 Cigaree lighter
1. It’s used to provide power to the screen. 2. The red buon above the
cigaree lighter turns on/ off the power.

2.4.3 Monitor Mount
1. It’s used to hold the monitor in the desired posion. 2. Two types of
mounts are available depending on the need.
2.4.4 Camera bracket
1. It’s used to fix the camera to the license plate.
2.4.5 Antenna
1. It’s used to strengthen the signal connecon between the camera and the
monitor.
2. It needs to be installed behind the monitor before pairing.

2.4.6 Plasc nut
1. It’s used to fix the monitor and the monitor mount. 2.4.7 USB charging
cable
1. It’s used to connect the charger and the camera.

3. Installation Guide
3.1 Make an Installaon Plan
Before installaon, we recommend you spend a lile me tesng the system. This can
help you confirm whether the system works normally before you install it on
your vehicle.
You can use a 12-24V power supply to power up the monitor and camera. Our
camera has been paired with the monitor before they leave our factory. If you
want to pair the camera with another channel, please see 4.2 pairing for
detailed pairing notes and methods.
Based on our experience, we recommend you follow the sequence below to finish
installaon: (1) Install monitor (2) Install camera (3) Connect monitor and
camera to power supply (4) Adjust the lens of camera according to your needs

3.2 Monitor Installaon
There are two bracket opons for screen mounng. And it can be mounted to the
dashboard or to the windshield. 1. Mount the antenna to the back of the
monitor. 2. Select a bracket. Place the plasc nut behind the bracket gimbal as
shown in the picture.
3. Insert the bracket gimbal into the gimbal mount at the back of the
monitor, as shown in the picture.
4. Place the base in the right posion and choose the right angle of the
monitor. Then ghten the plasc nut with the gimbal mount at the back of the
monitor. Now, the monitor

has been fixed with the monitor mount. 5. When you use the sucon cup holder,
first open the sucon cup locking buckle as shown in the posion. Wet the sucon
cup with water, fixed in the ideal posion, then press the sucon cup locking
buckle. Complete the installaon.
6. When you use the glued simple holder, first sck the 3M double-sided tape
to the boom of the holder. Choose the ideal posion and press the base of the
holder down hard to complete the fixaon. 7. Insert the Type-C of the cigaree
lighter connecon cable into the Type-C socket at the back of the monitor,
Insert the cigaree lighter into the car cigaree lighter base and press the red
buon above the cigaree lighter to light up it. 8. Screen installaon and
connecon is complete. Press the screen on/off key to use.

3.3 Camera Installaon
1. Remove the license plate screws. Place the camera bracket in front of the
license plate. The bracket direcon as shown In the picture. The screw holes on
both sides correspond to the license plate screw holes. Use the screws to fix
the bracket to the license plate.
2. Hold the camera close to the bracket, the camera direcon as shown in the
picture (logo on top). Push the camera hard from the right side to the le
side. When you hear a click, you can confirm that it is installed.

3. Check whether the camera has been firmly fixed. Adjust the camera lt angle
to find the most suitable viewing angle. 4. When you want to remove it, press
the camera against the bracket and push it out from the le side to the right
side with force. To prevent it from falling off easily, we ghtened the fixing
clips. So when you take it off, you need to use more force.

4. System Operation
This part describes the funcons of 5 panels in menu page. You can press M to
enter the menu page and adjust sengs by buons on the monitor. When you move
the cursor to a panel or a sub-panel, its icon will become gray. You can know
where your cursor by icons’ colors.
4.1 Primary Menu
Pairing seng: Pair the Acvate Buon/Camera to the monitor Image Parameters:
Brightness/ Contrast/ Saturaon Image Rotaon: Horizontal/ Vercal Flip Screen
Timeout: Setup to turn off the monitor aer 45s/60s/ 90s or turn off this

4.2 Secondary Menu
4.2.1 Pairing Seng
Before leaving our factory, the camera has already been paired with the
monitor. Generally, the product is automacally paired when the screen is on.
But you need to re-pair the camera if it lost paired. We recommend you finish
pairing before installing the system on your vehicle, because the monitor and
camera needs to be within 3 feet in pairing. Camera system pairing If you need
to do it manually, here are the steps: 1.Power up the monitor. 2.Open the
rubber cover on the pairing buon of the camera, and long press it with a thin
sck unl the system is paired

Tips: When you select off to make the monitor stay on, it will

5. FAQ
1. Q: How to solve the problem of “black screen”? A: Check if the screen and
camera are successfully paired. Check if the camera has power, and check if
the car charger can power the screen. 2. Q: Why does the monitor acvate buon
not match and not work? A: The monitor acvate buon needs to be connected to
the screen. So this acvate buon has a lithium baery inside. Therefore, it may
have run out of the baery when the acvate buon is not working. Replace the
baery and pair it with the monitor again then it will work properly. You can
contact us if it have run out of the baery or sll not working.
