  • Do not disassemble or attempt to repair any part of the camera system.

  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  • To avoid an electrical shock hazard, relevant actions should be performed by qualified and certified professionals.
    Disconnect all sources of power to the camera before installing.

  • To reduce the risk of fire, no test when smoking. No use a flame.

  • Use this product within the voltage range specified. failure to do so can cause electronics shock or product malfunction.

  • Where the power cable may press a metal case, cover the cable with a friction tape. A short circuit or disconnected wire may cause a fire.

  • Do not install the monitor where it may obstruct drivers view or obstruct an air bag device.

  • Do not operate the monitor while driving, as it may cause an accident.

  • Dropping the unit may cause possible mechanical failure.

  • Not use it for a long time, turn off the monitor and camera.

INSTALLATION

  • Ensure the power supply circuit has circuit protection.
  • Use insulated tools when working with power supply.
  • Use correct safety equipment when working at elevated levels.
  • Do not allow water to enter the LCD Display.
  • Excessive heat can be caused by a loose connection.

NOTE:

  1. Some states or local governments may have regulations or laws that restrict the use of anything that might impair the clear view of a license plate. Check local laws for compliance.
  2. These instructions are only meant as a general guide due to the number of different makes and models of vehicles. For vehicle-specific questions, contact your vehicle’s manufacturer.
  3. This backup camera fits a standard license plate hole for US.
    lf you choose not to mount it on your license plate, locate a good place to mount the camera. Make sure that the camera’s field of vision is free of obstructions (bumpers, hitches, etc. ).
Installation Method
  • In order to save your time, please test the system to confirm it can work normally then install on your vehicle.
  • Please fully charge the camera before use.
  • The camera was paired to the monitor ex-factory. If not, please refer to 4.1.2 pairing monitor and camera.

Pairing Monitor and Camera

Note: The camera was paired to the monitor ex-factory, they can be used once they’re powered on. If there’s no image on CAMI, press CH button to switch to CAM2 for checking.

  1. Install and tighten antennas on monitor and camera. Put the camera very close to monitor (within 5ft).
  2. Turn on the monitor first, and press CH button to switch to the channel that you want to pair with the camera.
  3. Press the M button once to move to “Pairing” icon, and press S button to select PAIRING, Then the monitor will start counting down.
  4. Before countdown ends, turn on the camera. The camera will pair with monitor automatically. (Make sure the camera has power. lf not, please charge the camera.)
Installation of the Camera
  1. Please fully charge the camera before using it.
    Two Charging Methods: Solar charging and Toye-C.
    Support: Charge via solar/ type-c connector while using, short circuit and over voltage protection.

  2. Install the antenna on the camera.

  3. Place the camera on your vehicle via magnetic base, make its viewing angle meets your need.

  4. Press the button on the camera will turn on and it can be used.

Note: Turn off the camera power before charging, otherwise the camera will consume power while charging.


Installation of the Monitor
  1. Place the plastic nut insert into the gimbal mount at the back of the monitor, as shown in the picture.

  2. Place the base in the right position and choose the right angle of the monitor. Then tighten the plastic nut with the gimbal mount at the back of the monitor. Now, the monitor has been fixed with the monitor mount.

  3. When you use the suction cup holder, first open the suction cup locking buckle as shown in the position. Wet the suction cup with water, fixed in the ideal position, then press the suction cup locking buckle. Complete the installation.

Two ways to power monitor:

  1. Type-C to cigarette lighter: plug the cigarette lighter adapter into the socket.
  2. USB Type-C cable: connect this cable to monitor and get power from USB port in your vehicle.

Pairing Setting

  • Note: The camera was paired to the monitor ex-factory, they can be used once they’re powered on. If there’s no image on
    CAM1, press CH button to switch to CAM2 for checking.
    But you need to re-pair the camera if it lost paired. We recommend you finish pairing before installing the system on your vehicle, because the monitor and camera needs to be within 5teet in pairing.

  • 1. Install and tighten antennas on monitor and camera. Put the camera very close to monitor (within 5ft).

  • 2. Tum on the monitor first, and press A button to switch to the channel that you want to pair with the camera.

  • 3. Press the M button once to move to “Pairing” icon, and press S button to select PAIRING, Then the monitor will start counting down.

  • 4. Before countdown ends, turn on the camera. The camera will pair with monitor automatically. (Make sure the camera has power. If not, please charge the camera.)

Picture Setting

  1. Press M button to enter menu, press A button to select Picture setting.
  2. Select brightness/contrast/hue by pressing M button.
  3. Increase the parameters by pressing “+” button and decrease it by pressing”-“.
  4. Press A button to confirm and exit the Secondary menu.
  5. Press M button to exit the menu page.
Mir-Flip Setting

  1. Press M button to enter the menu page.
  2. Press A button to select the Mir-Flip setting.
  3. Select Normal/ Mirror/ Flip/ MIR-Flip by pressing”+” and”-“.
  4. Press A button to confirm and exit the Secondary menu.
  5. Press M button to exit the menu page.
System Setting

  1. Press M button to enter menu, press A button to select system setting.

  2. Select Language/ Delay-time/
    Parking-line/ Default by pressing M button.

  3. Increase the parameters by pressing”+” button and decrease it by pressing “-“button.

  4. Press A button to confirm and exit the Secondary menu.

  5. Press M button to exit the menu page.

  1. Press M button to enter menu, press S button to select Record setting.
  2. Select Rewrite/Format/Rerecord Time by pressing M button.
  3. Increase the parameters by pressing “+”button and decrease it by pressing “-“button.
  4. Press S button to confirm and exit the Secondary menu.
  5. Press M button to exit the menu page.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Why is the monitor in black screen?

  • Check if the monitor is powering on and press the power button to see if the display turn on. If you are sure the monitor has power and it does not respond to the on/off button, then disconnect it from the power and reconnecting.
  • Check if the camera is powered. The monitor can only be used normally when monitor and camera are powered.
  • Check there is 5V going to the monitor. If there is still no improvement, maybe the screen has been subjected to some collision during transportation or use, please contact us and we will help you: [email protected].

Why is the monitor no signal or blue?

  • No signal or blue screen is the camera is not turned on and it doesn’t pair with camera.
  • Check if the camera is powered up first.
  • Pair the camera with the monitor up close (within 5ft)and and wait until the pair is successful, and the monitor will work.
  • If there is still no improvement, please contact us to send you an extension antenna or replacement.

Why does the camera gets blurry or foggy?

  • Check the external lenses. Clean them by simply wiping off the dirt.
  • Check if there any loose or faulty connections triggering such mishaps.
  • There is moisture inside the camera’s lenses. The changes between high and low temperature will cause fogging problems, just wait a few hours and it will return to normal.

What if anything defective or lost when I open the package?

After installation, the image has obvious distortion and stripes flickering.

  • This may be caused by unstable voltage, please check the power supply connected to the monitor is in the right range( 5V). Try 2 different monitor installation: cigarette lighter and Type-C cable.
    For your safety, it is recommended that you go to auto repair shop to check your vehicle’s voltage problem.

When recording, the screen shows the channel. Is there actually one channel or two channels recorded?

  • All cameras recording at the same time, can not switch, only select part of the record.

Can I access the menu while recording?

  • When recording, you can enter the menu, which does not affect the recording.

Can I access the menu in the split screen?

  • In split screen mode, the menu cannot be accessed. You need to press CH button to the full screen.

How do I pair multiple cameras?

  1. Tum on the cameras firstly.
  2. Press the “CH” button to the full screen.
  3. Press “M” button to enter the menu page, select “Pairing” for matching.

How to split the image?

  1. Press M to select mode and select the frequency split screen mode you want.
  2. Press “M” button to exit the menu page, and press “CH” button to the split-screen page you want.

How to pair a camera on channel l to channel 2?

  • Press the “CH” button to enter channel 2, the number 2 displayed in the upper left is channel 2.
