- Give it about 30 seconds for your CarPlay screen to show the CarPlay/Android Auto home screen.
Step 2: Connect to Your Car Audio
Audio Option: (3.5mm) Auxiliary audio cable

When your car stereo has a 3.5mm AUX Audio IN port. This method provides the
best audio experience.
- Connect the included 3.5mm audio cable to the CarPlay screen and tour the car stereo.
- Switch the car audio system to ‘AUX’ mode.
Audio Option: FM frequency
When best to use:
When your car stereo does not have a 3.5mm AUX Audio IN port but has an FM
radio.
- On the CarPlay screen, click on the FM TX icon > select a preset frequency or move the slider at the top to select a custom frequency.
- On your car FM radio, tune to the same frequency you’ve selected on the CarPlay screen.
Audio Option: Built-in speakers
- When best to use: When no external audio connection is available.
