IMPORTANT NOTICE

• The plate/barrel will be extremely hot when the temperature regula­tor slide switch is set at its highest setting. Extra care should be taken when using.
• This product may emit smoke during initial use. The smoke is not harmful and will quickly disappear. It is only the protective application on the heating element being burned off.

EP TECHNOLOGY 5.0
A micrometric metallic coating obtained by electroplating, a very technical process similar to what is done in jewelry avoiding friction on hair for even more smoothness, con­taining no chemical agents for better resistance to high- heat and provid­ing even heat distribution.

Advanced Heat management system
The straightener combines the latest in self-regulating heating elements, the Advanced Heat Management™, which provides precise and continu­ous electronic regulation of the tem­perature. This technology means the unit heats up immediately, reaching a very high temperature and main­taining the temperature to the near­est half degree. It also has a broad range of recuperation reactions and capacity.

STRAIGHTENING BASICS

• Plug the appliance into a suitable mains socket and push the (0/1) slid­er switch once across to switch the unit on the lowest setting (170°().
• To select a higher temperature push the slider switch again (to select ei­ther 200″( or 230°()

IMPORTANT: Take care to avoid the hot surfaces of the appliance com­ing into direct contact with the skin, in particular the eyes, ears, face and neck.

To select the desired temperature, slide the switch using the symbols shown below as a guide:

• For fine or coloured hair, use the low­er heat settings. For thicker hair, use the higher heat settings.
  Note: each indicator light will blink until the unit has reached the se­lected temperature.

• The iron will heat up very quickly. It is not necessary to touch the plates to judge readiness.

• Section dry hair evenly, and comb each section. Position the iron on hair as far up as you want hair to be straightened, being careful not to let the iron touch the scalp. Close (without locking) the iron with the hair between the two plates and gently pull the iron down to the end of the section of hair you are straightening. Repeat this process several times if necessary. Allow hair to cool before combing.

• Turn off and unplug the appliance.

• Allow to cool before storing.

STYLING COMB/HOT BRUSH

• Close the iron, lock in on the cool­tip and handle ends.
• To smooth out hair, rotate back­ward and slide down the hair section. Best for short to medium length hair.
  To style hair ends, bend or flip. To create volume, lift at roots. To create looser waves, wrap around the brush, hold for a few seconds, then unwind.

MAINTENANCE

• After use, push back across to (0/1) to switch the unit off and unplug the appliance.
• Allow to cool before storing away.
• Clean the surfaces using a soft, damp cloth without detergent.
  Do not scratch to preserve their optimal quality
