Installation Process

1. Ensure the installation location is suitable for the chosen type of install (A, B, C, or D).
2. Refer to the installation diagram for guidance on the installation type and any additional charges.
3. If installing a Mitsubishi Heavy model, follow the recommended installation procedures provided by the manufacturer.
4. For Midea Apollo models, refer to the specific brochure for detailed installation instructions.
5. If you already have the split system, follow the provided guidelines for install-only prices based on your home type.

Indoor Unit Setup
Ensure there is enough wall space inside your home for the indoor unit. Check the dimensions of the indoor unit to confirm compatibility:

• 880mm wide x 350mm high
• 1200mm wide x 360mm high
• Additional height allowances for specific capacities:
  • 2.5kw – 805mm height
  • 5kw – 1080mm height
  • 9kw – 1260mm height
  • All Midea models require a 350mm height allowance

Temperature Control
To cool your home effectively using the split system, set the temperature to a comfortable level based on outside conditions.

Example: 35 degrees outside, set the split system to 22 degrees with all windows and doors closed for optimal cooling.

The prices quoted below are for a new Split system air conditioner and complete installation. The model numbers are listed in the left-hand column, and price on the right. The price listed covers supply of new unit and complete installation in single story home. There is no more to pay. Please see the Installation diagram second page. Install must be an A or B type. If install is a C or D or upstairs, there will be extra charges as listed on the diagram. The extra rarely exceeds 500 for the hardest install.

These prices cover 90% of installs completely. If you have a nice wall with the outside world behind it, then the prices above cover the entire install. Labour, parts, bracket, electrical, GST, everything.

We are able to install within a week from your order. If you have a baby or are elderly or some bizarre emergency, we might be able to shuffle stuff around to get you in faster. Possibly.

Please note: Michael is doing our installs till I get back. He does almost as good a job as I do, but he has no concept of time at all. If you’re booked for 0800 you can expect him anywhere from 0800 – 0930. If he must be on time, or you have things to do, feel free to call him on 0411 265 109 the night before, as late as you want and tell him to be on time. You should then still expect him no earlier than half hour past the designated time.
