FM Primer koncentrat
Screed primer concentrate 3:1
Item no. 446-10000XX PR no. 2361134
UFI:
FM Primer is a concentrated acrylic primer, that ensures good adhesion between
concrete substrate and cement based screed.
The primer can be used as 1-k acrylic dust binder.
Areas of application
As primer for screed:
After dilution (1 part primer to 3 parts of water w/v) the FM primer is
suitable as primer for screed. Roll onto substrate 60-100g/m .
As primer for 1-k acrylic dust binder:
After dilution (1 part primer to 3 parts of water w/v) the FM primer can be
rolled onto the substrate with an ordinary lint free paint roller. Consumption
is usually 150 g/m²
Substrate
Substrate must be clean, dry, firm and free from staining.
Sludge and loose material from the concrete should be removed by diamond
grinding and vacuuming.
Remove loose material, dirt, grease and other contamination from substrate. If
substrate has been painted or otherwise treated before, be sure to remove all
coating etc. that may prevent the adhesion of the primer.
Treatment
Apply FM primer with a paint roller until properly saturated.
Note:
Substrate must absorb the primer; avoid leaving puddles of primer on
substrate.
Install screed directly onto still wet primer.
Follow the instructions for screed installation given by the The mentioned
information is based on laboratory experiments and practical testing at 20°C
and 85% RH. If the temperature or humidity of the material, the substrate or
the surroundings deviate from this, the product properties, drying and curing
times are affected. A general responsibility for paint treatment cannot be
given, due to the many caveats that may arise regarding the substrate,
application method, etc. Where the consumption of a paint extend over more
batches, these should be intermixed to avoid sheen and shade differences. It
is the user’s responsibility to always obtain new and revised product sheets.
