promal Universalmaling Semi-gloss All Round Paint

Universalmaling, based on linseed alkyd oil, that has sovereign adhesion, to even difficult substrates, such as corrugated, undulated and flat steel sheet, commonly used for façade cladding and roofing.

Areas of application

Interior and exterior surfaces of wood, metal, stone, metal/steel sheet and machine parts.

Substrate

Substrate must be clean, dry, firm, free from staining and suitable for painting.
Clean untreated substrates with detergent and water.
If necessary, degrease with thinner or similar.
Remove all loose material and sand glossy areas.
Carefully clean machine parts with thinner before painting.

Treatment

Stir well before and during use.
Apply with paintbrush, paint roller or sprayer. If using sprayer, use appropriate gear for protection.
To ensure a smooth and uniform finish, avoid working too long in applied paint, but allow to merge.

Note
Not suitable for use on aluminum, zinc, plastics, silicones or bituminous substrates. Some tin roofs have been coated with clear bituminous lacquer.
These cannot be painted with Universalmaling.

Avoid working on substrates above 50°C, as harmful fumes develop

The mentioned information is based on laboratory experiments and practical testing at 20°C and 85% RH. If the temperature or humidity of the material, the substrate or the surroundings deviate from this, the product properties, drying and curing times are affected. A general responsibility for paint treatment cannot be given, due to the many caveats that may arise regarding the substrate, application method, etc. Where the consumption of a paint extend over more batches, these should be intermixed to avoid sheen and shade differences. It is the user’s responsibility to always obtain new and revised product sheets. We reserve the right to make changes without notice. We reserve the right for printing errors. In case of inconsistency between language versions, the Danish version applies.
