Substrate must be clean, dry, firm, free from staining and suitable for painting.
Remove algae, grime and dirt with suitable cleaning agent, using low-pressure washer or special roof cleaning pressure washer.
Sand glossy areas.
Be aware that the cleaning of asbestos roofs require special equipment and in Denmark, special permit.

Treatment

Stir extremely well before and during use.
Apply with paint sprayer (airless nozzle 521, 523, 525).
Consumption must be 3-5 m²/l, applied in one single layer.
Treat strongly absorbent substrates with diluted Tagflex, before treatment with undiluted Tagflex.
Promal Tagflex is not suitable as a topcoat and must be painted with Promal Roof Paint.

Care and maintenance

Inspection at least once a year.
Remove foreign objects and fouling.
The roof surface should be cleaned with a cleaning agent, e.g.
universal cleaner, every two years.
If damage occur, have the painted area checked by a contractor, and if necessary repaired.
Correctly prepared painted and maintained, the treatment with Promal Tagmaling has an expected durability of ≥ 10 years.
The mentioned information is based on laboratory experiments and practical testing at 20°C and 85% RH. If the temperature or humidity of the material, the substrate or the surroundings deviate from this, the product properties, drying and curing times are affected. A general responsibility for paint treatment cannot be given, due to the many caveats that may arise regarding the substrate, application method, etc. Where the consumption of a paint extend over more batches, these should be intermixed to avoid sheen and shade differences. It is the user’s responsibility to always obtain new and revised product sheets. We reserve the right to make changes without notice. We reserve the right for printing errors. In case of inconsistency between language versions, the Danish version applies.
