Installation
- Removing the installation backplate
- Remove the back plate (AA) from the cover (B)
- Installing the back plate
- Position the back plate (AA) in the desired location. Utilize the holes on the back plate (AA) to mark the location for the wall anchors (BB).
- Drilling the holes
- Use a power drill to pierce two holes in the marked locations and insert the wall anchors (BB).
- Attaching the backplate
- Align the back plate (AA) holes with the wall anchors (BB) and insert the screws (CC) using a screwdriver.
- NOTE: The back plate (AA) must be installed with the direction of the arrow.
- Installing the cover
- Install the cover (B) to the back plate (AA)
- Putting the remote control
- Put the remote control (A) on the back plate (AA) in the middle of the cover (B).
Remote operation
- TapSync remotes make managing individual retrofits or groups a breeze. With a 100ft control range, one remote command all paired retrofits within its reach.
- Each retrofit acts as a signal repeater, creating a control network within 42ft. Positioning retrofits strategically ensures unlimited remote control range, as long as one operates as a relay.
- Remote Control Button Configurations
- On /Off: Press this button to turn all connected lights on & off.
- DIM: Press the left and right sides of the dimming button to adjust the brightness. CCT: Press this button to rotate through 2700k, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K. ALL: Press this button to control all groups.
- Select Group: Press the group number before pressing function buttons to control the lights paired to the specific group.
- Operating Instructions
- Paring Fixtures with remote
- Make sure the fixtures are turned on.
- Turn on/off the wall switch 3 times at normal speed, all units connected to the wall switch will start blinking to show it’s ready to pair, or press and hold the button on one of the fixtures for about 3 seconds.
- The fixture will start blinking to show it’s ready to pair.
- On the remote, press and hold the group button you want to pair the fixtures with.
- The fixtures and remote should now be paired. If the fixtures are already in the same group, just press the button on one unit to pair them all to the remote once one is paired
- Selecting a Group or All Groups Together Controlling Individual Groups:
- Press the number of the group you want to control. The fixtures in that group will blink once.
- Use the remote to turn them on/off, dim, or change the color temperature.
- Controlling Multiple Groups:
- Press the “ALL” button on the remote to control all groups together. All fixtures connected to the remote group will blink once.
- Use the remote to turn them on/off, dim, or change the color temperature for all groups at once.
- Adding Products to a Group
- To add a new fixture to a group, press and hold the button on the fixture for about 3 seconds.
- The fixture will pulse to indicate it’s ready to pair.
- Press and hold the desired group on the remote for 3 seconds.
- The fixture will blink to show that the pairing was successful.
- Unpairing Fixtures from Remote or Groups Using the Remote:
- Press and HOLD the group number you want to unpair for 4 seconds.
- Press the ON/OFF button.
- The fixtures will pulse three times to indicate they are ready for the next command. If they don’t receive a new command, they will group automatically
- Using the Wall Switch:
- Turn the wall switch ON/OFF three times at a normal speed.
- All units connected to the wall switch will pulse three times to indicate they are unpaired.
- For Individual Fixtures:
- Press and hold the fixture switch for 6 seconds.
- The fixtures will pulse three times to indicate they are ready for the next command.
- Pairing Two Remote Control Together
- Remote control and remote control pairing method:
- First long press and hold the switch button of remote control #1, then press and hold any group of keys of remote control #2 for 2 seconds, the remote control pairing is successful, and the information of remote control #1 and remote control #2 is the same.
- After successful pairing, the time interval for switching the remote control in turn should be 6 seconds.
- Unpairing remote control and remote control:
- Long press the “ALL” button on the remote control for 6 seconds to unpair.
Battery Installation / Replacement

- Contact customer service for replacement parts.
- Accessing the Battery
- Loosen the battery cover screw (EE) using a small screwdriver.
- Slide the battery cover off of the back of the remote control (A) to expose the battery compartment and install or replace the CR2032 battery (DD).
- NOTE: Remove the battery cover to replace the battery.
- Follow the correct polarity.
- Remote only uses CR2032 battery.
