To ensure proper operation and to maintain the lifespan of the scale please read this manual carefully before use.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT FOR THE FIRST TIME. Improper use of the device can damage it or injure the user. Make sure that you use the device for the purpose for which it was designed; we accept no liability for damage (compensation) due to incorrect use or mishandling.
- This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Any other use (medical, professional, commercial, etc.) is excluded.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Keep this appliance indoors and in a dry place.
- Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.
- Do not store any objects on the scale.
- To avoid the risk of injury, do not stand on the edges of the scale.
- To prevent slipping, make sure that your feet and the scale are dry and free of dust before getting on the scale.
- Do not disassemble the scale.
- Avoid strong vibrations or shocks, such as dropping the scale on the floor.
- Always place your scale on a hard, level surface. Avoid carpets and rugs.
- Do not use the scale on a slippery surface or on a wet floor.
- Keep the scale away from heat sources (radiators, etc.) to avoid the deformation of plastic parts.
- Do not store the scale in an upright position.
- Use only the type of battery specified in this manual.
- Replace the batteries when they are worn out or leak.
- Remove the batteries if the appliance is not used for a long period of time.
- Do not disassemble the scale as improper handling may result in injury to persons or damage to the scale.
SPECIAL MEASURES
Warning:
- The scale is a high-precision measuring device. Never jump or stomp on the scale or disassemble it and please handle it carefully to avoid dropping it when moving it.
- The scale is for family use only and not suitable for professional use.
- Please check the batteries if the scale malfunctions. Change new pieces if necessary. For other problems, please contact the local dealer or our company directly by phone or e-mail.
Information:
To ensure accuracy, we suggest you take measurements at a fixed time every day
(e.g.7:00pm-9:00 pm).
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please use soft tissue with alcohol or glass cleaner to clean the surface if it is dirty. No soap or other chemicals. Keep it away from water, heat and extreme coldness.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
- When using it for the first time, remove the battery protection tab without opening the battery case.
- Place the scale on a flat, solid surface, ideally on a clean floor.
- Wait until the LCD screen is turned off.
- Stand on the scale and the weight will be displayed
- Stand upright on the scale. During weighing, the display will flash. Wait until it stops flashing. Your weight will be displayed for about 10 seconds and then the display will automatically turn off.
Caution
Please replace the batteries when “LO” appears on the LCD, indicating that the
battery is completely discharged. To change the batteries, open the cover,
install the battery in the compartment and close the cover (Make sure the
positive pole of the battery is facing up). ”Err” shown on the LCD indicates
overload.
Disposal of batteries and accumulators (Applicable in the European Union countries and in the other European countries having systems of selective collection).
This symbol, affixed on batteries and accumulators or on the packaging, indicates that batteries and accumulators supplied with this product must not be treated as simple household waste. By assuring you that these batteries and accumulators are discarded in an appropriate way, you participate actively in the prevention of the negative consequences that their ill-treatment could cause on the environment and on human health.
The recycling of materials contributes to the conservation of natural resources. For the products, which, for safety reasons, performance or integrity of data require a permanent connection in a battery or in an accumulator, it will be advisable to move closer to check with a technical service qualified to make its replacement. By bringing back your electric device at the end of life to an appropriate point of collection you make sure that the battery or the incorporated accumulator will be correctly treated. For all other scenarios and to remove batteries or accumulators for the complete safety of your appliance, refer to the user manual. Bring back batteries or worn accumulators to the point of collection suited for recycling. For any further information about the recycling of this product or batteries and accumulators, you can contact your municipality, your local waste reception center, or the point of sale where you bought this product.
Correct disposal of the unit (Electrical and Electronic Equipment)

separate collection systems countries) The European Directive 2012/19/EU on
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household
electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal household waste
stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the
recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on
human health and the environment. The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin is
marked on all products to remind the obligations of separate collections.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information
concerning the correct disposal of their product.
