SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, you should always take basic safety measures. Always keep the following in mind:
- Read all instructions before using.
- Keep the user manual for future reference.
WARNING! The product is only intended for use in well-insulated areas or
for occasional use.
WARNING! Do not cover the tower heater. If covered, there is the risk of
overheating.

Only connect the tower heater to a single-phase socket with a mains voltage as specified on the rating plate.

Do not leave your home while the appliance is on.
-
Keep combustible material such as furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothes, curtains etc. At least 100 cm away from the tower heater.

Always unplug the heater when not in use. Do not pull the cord to unplug the tower heater.

Do not place the tower heater right below a socket.
-
Do not let animals or children touch or play with the tower heater.
NOTE! The air outlet gets hot during operation (more than 80 °C). -
Do not use this tower heater in the immediate surroundings of bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

Do not use the tower heater in the rooms containing explosive gas inflammable solvents, varnish or glue.

Keep the tower heater clean. Do not allow any objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock, or fire or damage to the tower heater.

If the tower heater has been dropped or damaged it should not be used until it has been inspected by a qualified service centre.
WARNING! Do not use this tower heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons nor capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.

Do not use to dry clothes or other textiles.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, it´s service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer or any remote controlled system device that switches the heater on automatically.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years. -
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in it´s intended normal operating position and that they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years, shall not plug in, regulate or clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

Do not use the appliance close to showers, bath tubs, wash basins, swimming pools etc.

Always use the tower heater in an upright position.

Do not use the tower heater to dry laundry. Never obstruct the intake and outlet grilles (danger of overheating).

The tower heater must be positioned at least 100 cm from furniture or other objects.

Do not place this tower heater against walls, furniture, curtains, etc.

Do not move the appliance while it is functioning.

Do not use the appliance in rooms less than 4 m² .

Do not use with an extension cord.

Position the main cord so that it does not overhang air outlet or touch hot or sharp objects as it may cause a safety hazard.

Do not leave the tower heater switched on when leaving your home or going to sleep.

If using two or three tower heaters side by side, ensure heaters do not radiate heat on to each other.

Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

GET STARTED!
- The appliance requires no installation; it should be used solely as a portable appliancMains operated portable appliances are not suitable for use in a bathroom.
- During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a slight odour and some smoke. This is normal and will quickly disappear. It is the coating applied to the heating elements to prevent rusting during transit.
- Before plugging the unit into the mains, ensure by visual inspection that the unit is intact and has not suffered any damage during transit.
CAUTION! The appliance must be always placed on a flat and stable
surface.
OVERHEATING AND TIP-OVER SWITCH
For your safety this appliance is fitted with a tip-over switch. When the
product is moved you will hear the tip over switch moving inside the product.
Please note that this is fully normal. When you use the appliance in an
upright position on a flat and stable surface, the tip-over switch will be on.
In the event the tower heater is knocked over, the tower heater will stop
functioning automatically. To reset, disconnect the plug from the power for a
few minutes, remove the cause of overheating then plug the appliance in again.
USE
Turn the thermostat knob (right) in a clockwise direction until it reaches the
maximum setting.
- Heating at reduced power: Turn the switch knob to setting I (1250 W).
- Heating at full power: Turn the switch knob to setting II (2000 W).
- Heating at reduced power with oscillation: Turn the switch knob to setting (1250 W).
- Heating at full power with oscillation: Turn the switch knob to setting (2000 W).
- Switching off: Turn the switch knob to setting .
REGULATING THE THERMOSTAT
When the room has reached the required temperature turn the right thermostat
knob (where included) in an anti-clockwise direction up to the point where the
appliance switches off and not beyond. The temperature fixed in this way will
be automatically
regulated and kept at a constant level by the thermostat.
OVER HEATING PROTECTION
The tower heater is fitted with a safety device which will switch off the
tower heater in case of accidental overheating (eg. Obstruction of air intake
and outlet grilles, motor turning slowly or not at all). To reset, disconnect
the plug from the power for a few minutes, remove the cause of overheating
then plug the appliance in again.
CARE AND CLEANING
- Before cleaning always remove the plug from the electrical socket.
- Clean the air inlet and outlet grilles frequently. (See B and C, on page 2)
- Never use abrasive powders or solvents.

RIGHT OF COMPLAINT
By law the product must be returned to the place of purchase along with the
original receipt in the event of a complaint. The user is liable for any
damage to the product that is caused by not using the product for its intended
purpose or by not following this user
manual correctly. The right of complaint will not apply in these instances.
ENVIRONMENT AND RECYCLING
When the product is used up, leave it for recycling according to local waste
disposal regulations. Note that the product must not be disposed of with
normal household waste.
