Quick Start Guide
Turning Soundwave On/Off
To power on, long press the power button for 2 seconds. To power off, long press the power button for 2 seconds. Soundwave will automatically turn off after a period of inactivity.
Connecting via 3.5mm Aux Cable
To play audio using the aux cable, connect it to your device and press ‘play’ on your device. The LED indicator will change to red when using the aux cable.
Connecting via Bluetooth
- Press the power button to enter pairing mode.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your device and select ‘Soundwave’ to pair.
- Once connected, the LED indicator will turn blue, and the speaker will announce Bluetooth connected.
Charging Your Soundwave
To charge your Soundwave, remove the port cover on the back of the speaker and connect the USB-C charging cable.

Q: How can I reset the Bluetooth pairing on Soundwave?

QUICK START GUIDE
TURNING SOUNDWAVE ON/OFF
- To power on, long press the power button for 2 seconds. Soundwave will announce “power on” whilst the LED indicator light at the top will light up. It will flash blue/red until a Bluetooth connection has been established.
- To power off, long press the power button for 2 seconds. The speaker will announce “power off” with the LED indicator also turning off.
- To preserve battery, Soundwave will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of no Bluetooth or 3.5mm aux connection.
CONNECTING VIA 3.5MM AUX CABLE
To play audio using the aux cable, connect the cable from the Soundwave to
your device. The LED indicator light will change to a solid red. Soundwave
will play the audio when you press ‘play’ on your device.
Please note: Using 3.5mm aux input will override a Bluetooth source input.
CONNECTING VIA BLUETOOTH
- Press the power button for approximately two seconds. The LED indicator light will flash blue and red to indicate Soundwave is ready for pairing.*
- Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone/ music device.**
- ’Soundwave’ will appear on your mobile phone/music device. Select ‘Soundwave’ to pair.
- Once your mobile phone/music device is connected to the soundwave speaker, the LED indicator light will change to a solid blue, and the speaker will announce “Bluetooth connected”.***
- Enjoy your music.
- Soundwave will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode when turned on for the first time. To reset Bluetooth pairing, hold the UNISYNC button for 6 seconds to initiate Bluetooth pairing mode again.
- If you are not familiar with Bluetooth pairing for your mobile phone or music device, refer to the user guide for your mobile phone/music device for instructions to pair a new device using Bluetooth.
- Soundwave will always store the last device paired and if the device is within Bluetooth range, Soundwave will automatically connect to the device.
CHARGING YOUR SOUNDWAVE
- Remove the port cover on the back of the speaker, and connect the speaker via the USB-C port to the USB-A power source, using the included charging cable.
- The LED battery indicator will flash from one to four LEDs to indicate Soundwave is charging. The lights will stop flashing once Soundwave is fully charged. A full charge will take approximately 3-4 hours, depending on the speed of the charger.
Once charged, remove the charge cable and replace the port cover.
Please note: Soundwave will announce “low battery” when the battery level reaches approximately 10%.

- 1 press – cycle through UNISYNC functions (UNISYNC mode/UNISYNC audio/UNISYNC disabled)
- 2 second long press – disconnects Bluetooth (device remains paired to soundwave)
- 6 second long press – resets UNISYNC and Bluetooth connection (device will need to be re-paired)
CONNECTING MULTIPLE SPEAKERS VIA UNISYNCTM
Using the UNISYNC feature you can connect up to 50 UNISYNC compatible
speakers. In this example, your Soundwave is your primary device.
- To connect a replica, short press the UNISYNC button on your primary speaker once to enter UNISYNC mode. Once the primary announces it is in UNISYNC mode, repeat on the replica. After the replica announces it is in UNISYNC mode, press the UNISYNC button on the replica device once more – the replica will announce it is using UNISYNC audio.
- The primary speaker will show a solid blue light while replicas will show a flashing red and blue light.
- To exit UNISYNC mode, press the UNISYNC button until you hear UNISYNC disabled.*
- Press and hold the UNISYNC button for 6 seconds to reset the UNISYNC function.**
- *If UNISYNC is disabled, Soundwave will disconnect from but remember the replicas connected to it.
- **Resetting UNISYNC will enable Soundwave to ‘forget’ all replica devices and Bluetooth connections.
POWERBANK
Soundwave comes with a USB-A output port, which is capable of supplying up to
5V⎓2A (10W).
Whilst charging another device, the LED battery indicator lights will flash.
The number of lights flashing will indicate how much charge is remaining in
the speaker’s powerbank.
MULTIPOINT CONNECTION
Multipoint is a feature that allows Soundwave to connect to two Bluetooth
devices at once. This means that you can listen to music from one device,
whilst still hearing notifications and receiving calls from another device.
To setup Multipoint:
- Connect your first Bluetooth device.
- Hold down the UNISYNC button for 2 seconds to disconnect Bluetooth.
- Connect your second Bluetooth device.
- Hold down the power button for 2 seconds and turn off Soundwave.
- Hold down the power button for 2 seconds and turn on Soundwave.
Soundwave will announce “Bluetooth connected” twice. Soundwave will play audio from the last device it receives a command from, but it will treat the device with calls and notifications as priority.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFO
- Do not attempt to charge Soundwave when it is wet or you suspect water has seeped into the device. Thoroughly dry Soundwave and make sure all connections are dry before attempting to remove the port cover. Failure to do so may result in electrical shock, fire or electrical damage to Soundwave and may void the warranty.
- Do not use Soundwave near an open fire, heat source or excessive heat.
- Do not disassemble this device or attempt to modify in any manner.
- Sound levels should be appropriate to your environment and comply with all local regulations.
- Ensure that you can hear and are aware of any potential hazards around you when you are enjoying your Soundwave speaker.
