Overview
Main Components

- Requires 2× AA alkaline batteries only (not included)
- Inactivity on your QuikDial Tap Timer controls for 6 seconds will return to the default system mode displaying the current time
- Removing the AA batteries will reset all clock and schedule settings
- To reset your QuikDial Tap Timer, remove the batteries and twist the main dial until the display is completely blank
- For use with cold water only

Setup
Battery Installation
- Install 2× 1.5v AA alkaline batteries into your QuikDial Tap Timer, as indicated in the battery compartment [a]
- After installing the batteries, the display will flash and your QuikDial will make clicking noises as part of the start-up phase
- Once the start-up process is complete, the clock will display as follows, with the time separator flashing [b] and the battery indicated as full [c]
Setup Process
- Your QuickDial features a quick setup process across 5 key steps. Use the main dial to scroll through the main menu for each step
Zone
- This process is to select which zones will be watered as part of your schedule
- Turn the main dial to select ZONE [a] in the main menu
- Press the main dial to edit zones
- The zone selector [b] will flash around ZONE 1 and indicate as ON [c]
- By default, ZONE 1 is ON, and ZONE 2 is OFF
- Press the main dial to toggle ZONE 1 ON or OFF as desired
- When a zone is turned OFF, the zone number [d] will disappear and the OFF indicator [e] will be displayed
- The zone selector [f] will remain flashing
- Turn the main dial to the next zone
- The zone selector [g] will flash around the next zone and indicate as OFF [h]
- Press the main dial to toggle the zone ON or OFF as desired
- Repeat steps 4-5 for the remaining zones
- After ZONE 2 has been set to ON or OFF, turn the main dial one more step
- The zone selectors will flash around both zones [i], and the status of each zone will be indicated by their respective numbers being present (ON) or missing (OFF)
- To confirm your zone settings, press the main dial
- Alternatively, to go back and change your zone settings, turn the dial another step and repeat steps 3-7
- Once your zones are confirmed, ZONE will flash in the main menu [j] and the active zones will be shown [k]
Set Clock
- This process is to set the system clock for your QuikDial
- Your QuikDial system time is always in 24-hour format (military time)
- Turn the main dial to select SET CLOCK [a] in the main menu
- Press the main dial. The current hour [b] will begin flashing
- Turn the main dial to adjust the hour to the current time
- Press the main dial to confirm the current hour. The current minute will begin flashing [c]
- Turn the main dial to adjust the minute to the current time
- Press the main dial to confirm the current minute
- SET CLOCK will flash again in the main menu [d], to indicate the system time [e] has been set
Start Time
- This process is to set the START TIME for watering of your active zones
- This START TIME is applied to all zones but is only active on the zones that have been toggled ON in the previous instructions
- Refer back to Zone for more information on enabling or disabling zones
- Turn the main dial to select START TIME [a] in the main menu
- This will display the current START TIME [b]. By default, this is set to 08:00 (8:00 am)
- Press the main dial. The START TIME hour [c] will begin flashing
- Turn the main dial to adjust the hour to the desired START TIME
- Press the main dial to confirm the hour. The START TIME minute will begin flashing [c]
- Turn the main dial to adjust the minute to the desired START TIME
- Press the main dial to confirm the minute
- START TIME in the main menu [d] will flash again, to indicate it has been set [e]
How Long (Watering Duration)
- This process is to set the watering duration of your active zones
- This duration is applied to all zones, but is only active on the zones that have been toggled ON in the previous instructions
- Refer back to Zone for more information on enabling or disabling zones

Turn the main dial to select HOW LONG [a] in the main menu
- This will display the current watering duration [b]. By default, this is set to 5 minutes

Press the main dial. The duration in minutes [c] will begin flashing
How Long (continued) -
Turn the main dial to adjust duration as desired

Press the main dial to confirm the duration
- HOW LONG in the main menu [d] will flash again, to indicate the duration has been set [e]
How Often (Watering Interval)
- This process is to set the interval time between watering sessions of your active zones
- This interval is applied to all zones but is only active on the zones that have been toggled ON in the previous instructions
- Refer back to Zone for more information on enabling or disabling zones
- Turn the main dial to select HOW OFTEN [a] in the main menu
- This will display the current watering interval [b]. By default, this is set to 1 day
- Press the main dial. The interval [c] will begin flashing
- Turn the main dial to adjust the interval length in DAYS from 1 to 7
- For shorter watering intervals in HOURS [d], turn the main dial beyond 7 days. The interval will now show as 1 hour
- Keep turning the main dial to adjust the watering interval in HOURS
- Hourly watering intervals are available in 1, 2, 3, 6 or 12 hours
- To go back to setting the interval in DAYS [e], keep turning the dial beyond 12 hours. The interval will return to 1 day
- With the desired interval time showing, press the main dial to confirm
- HOW OFTEN in the main menu [f] will flash again, to indicate the interval has been set [g]
Operation
Automatic Watering
- For automatic watering, ensure ZONE, SET CLOCK, START TIME, HOW LONG and HOW OFTEN have all been set correctly as per the previous instructions
- After a period of inactivity on your QuikDial controls, the set watering schedule will be active in the background as per your confirmed settings
- In this state, your QuikDial display will cycle between the current time [a] and the amount of time left before your NEXT watering session [b]
- When the current interval time [b] lapses, the zones will start watering in sequential order
- During watering, the sprinkler animation [c] will be active, the current zone [d] will flash, and the remaining watering time [e] will also flash as it counts down
- Additional zones scheduled for watering will also show [f]
Manual Watering
- For manual (instant) watering, press ON/OFF
- The zone selector [a] will flash. Twist the main dial to select a zone
- Press the main dial to water immediately for the pre-set duration [b]. By default, this is 10 minutes
- During watering, the sprinkler animation [c] will be active, and the current zone [d] will flash
- Once watering, the remaining time [e] will also flash to indicate it is adjustable
- Turn the main dial to adjust the watering time as desired
- The minimum watering time is 1 minute
- The maximum watering time is 99 minutes
- After a short period, the remaining watering time will stop flashing to indicate it has been set
- To stop watering before the remaining time has lapsed, press ON/OFF and your QuikDial will return to the default display
- If the remaining time stops flashing before you are able to adjust it, press ON/OFF to stop watering and restart the manual watering process from Step 1
No/Suspended Watering Mode
- To stop all automatic watering, press the Menu dial for 3 seconds
- The display will enter non watering mode [a]
- To return to scheduled automatic watering, press the Menu dial for 3 seconds
- The non watering icon will disappear and your automated watering will continue
Maintenance
Cold Weather
- Your QuikDial should be removed from the tap and stored away during winter
- Keep your tap timer out of freezing conditions as this can damage internal components
Batteries
- Remove batteries from your QuikDial during periods of non‑use–this will erase all settings
- Battery leakage can cause corrosion and damage to your QuikDial
- Do not mix old and new batteries
- Do not use rechargeable batteries
