Preparation for work
To put the electric pump into operation, you must:
-
Connect the socket to the mains, taking into account the safety requirements set forth above;
-
Make sure that there is no mechanical damage to the electric power cable;
-
Connect the electric pump using adapters with a pressure pipe or a hose with a diameter of at least 1 inch (see. Electric pump installation diagram)
-
Tie the cable to the holes in the cover of the electric pump;
-
Lower the electric pump into the water and fix the cable over the well, well, etc.
The pump must be located at least 60 cm from the bottom and 50 cm from the surface of the water.
Do not allow the entry of foreign bodies, sharp objects, etc. into the hole in the cover at the bottom of the electric pump to avoid damage to the rubber diaphragm.
Lower the electric pump, holding the cable and pipeline, watch out for free suspension of the power cord. When lowering the electric pump, protect the cord from possible damage.
After lowering the electric pump into the well, fix the cable and pipeline on the surface in such a way that the weight of the pipeline and the water in it is not transferred to the power cord.
ATTENTION! The condensing box and the socket must be placed under a shed or indoors, protected from possible exposure to splashing water and atmospheric precipitation. To eliminate the possibility of clogging of the pumping part, it is recommended to install a check valve at the pump outlet.
Operating procedure
Before connecting the electric pump to the network, make sure it is completely immersed. Connect the electric pump to the mains with a plug.
Attention! Operate the electric pump only in a developed and cleaned well. If contaminated water appears, the electric pump should be turned off and the position of the pump relative to the bottom of the reservoir or well should be checked again.
Remember that pumping water with a high content of mechanical impurities leads to a reduction in the service life of the electric pump and voids the right to warranty repair.
The performance of the electric pump depends on the depth of the water, the length, diameter and type of the pipeline used, etc.
To prevent pumping out of water from the well, the well, match the productivity of the latter with the volumetric flow of the pump by closing the valve installed at the outlet of the pipeline from the well, well. In this case, the volumetric flow should not be less than 400 I / h. A further decrease in the volumetric flow and complete shut-off of the valve can lead to overheating and failure of the electric pump. In order to avoid overheating and damage to excess supply cable, during operation of the electric pump, do not leave it in a tightly wound coil, which impedes the access of air for cooling.
In the event that the operating pump stops due to the activation of the thermal relay, turn on the electric pump after the relay has cooled down and eliminate the causes of operation by pressing the relay activation button on the capacitor box (depending on the pump model).
Lowering the voltage in the network when the electric pump is running, leads to a decrease in the head developed by the pump, productivity and to an increase in the current consumption. When the voltage in the network drops below 200V, it is recommended to use a voltage stabilizer of the appropriate power, or bring the voltage back to normal in another way.
Storage and maintenance
Be sure to flush the pump with clean water after each use.
Storage
In case of prolonged inactivity of the pump, as well as in winter, storage
must be carried out in a dry, heated room. First, it is necessary to drain the
remaining water from it and pipes, rinse with clean water and dry.
The pump does not require preservation. It should be stored at temperatures
between + 1 ° C and + 35 ° C, away from heating devices and avoiding direct
sunlight.
