Congratulations on your new HORAGE Supersede Date, we hope it brings you much joy in the years to come.
Please be sure to review the “Important Information” and “Operation Instructions” Listed below prior to using your Supersede Date.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Attention: In order to guarantee the reliability of your HORAGE watch, we have created a short list of recommendations for you.
- Your Supersede Date has a K2 automatic micro-rotor movement. This means it will automatically rewind the mainspring whist being worn. If the watch has not been worn for a period of time and is not running, you should apply a few winds manually before it starts to run. You will manually wind via the crown.
- If the watch is not running, the first step you should take is to wind the movement by turning the crown approximately 20 times in a clockwise direction.
- The energy from winding the watch is stored in the main spring located in the main barrel, and this reserve of energy is referred to as the power reserve.
- The Supersede Date has a power reserve of over 3 days or +72 hours. A fully wound watch will run longer than 3 days if not worn, however, the amplitude or consistency of the energy will reduce after 3 days, and therefore the precision of the watch could be impacted.
USEFUL INFORMATION

The accuracy of the Supersede Date is calculated within a 3-day operating timeframe and therefore to ensure your watch remains precise please be sure to wear or manually wind the watch on or before the 3rd day prior to it last being worn or wound.

Although our movements utilise a silicon escapement that performs well in everyday magnetic fields. Strong magnetic forces can negatively impact a mechanical watch’s performance.
We recommend that you keep your Supersede Date away from magnets, batteries, or devices that emit strong magnetic fields. -
The Supersede Date is very reliable; however, as a precision mechanical watch with many moving parts, impacts such as dropping the watch should be avoided.

To ensure your watch remains water-resistant to the maximum water pressure designated on the watch case, always return the watch crown to the fully pushed-in, and screwed down position.
Water resistance can be affected over time by impact shocks, and chemical reactions with substances such as gasoline, adhesives, paints, cleaning sprays, etc. -
Excessive, continued turning of the crown can reduce the longevity of seals used for water resistance. If you frequently take your watch in the water, it is recommended to have its water resistance checked by your local watch service centre every three years.

From time to time, you may feel a desire to clean your watch. Before doing so, please remove the strap as outlined in the operating instructions.

Ideally, use a small plastic or rubber bowl and fill it with warm water and some gentle handwashing soap. Before placing the watch case in the warm water, be sure to check that the crown is in the pushed-in and closed position.

Using a soft cotton cloth, you can gently clean the case. Once finished, rinse the case with fresh water and pat dry with a dry, soft cotton towel. Afterwards, buff with a microfibre hand towel.

Using Instruction
Time setting:
To properly set the time it’s important to note that Position 3 should be set
prior to Position 2.
Position 0: Screwed-down Position
- The crown is completely screwed-down against the case.
Position 1: Winding Position
- In this position, you can wind the watch manually by turning the crown clockwise.
- Continuously turn the crown 30 or more full rotations to ensure adequate power reserve.
- You cannot overwind the watch. The watch will wind itself with each movement on your wrist.
Position 3: Setting The Time

With the crown unscrewed pull the crown outwards to the second notch also referred to as the third position.
The Seconds Hand will stop for more accurate time setting. -
Turn the crown clockwise to set the Hour and Minute Hands correctly.

You can also set the Date in this position by continually winding the hands past 12 o’clock however “Position 2” is far faster. If finished with time setting be sure to push in and screw down the crown.
Position 2: Quick Set Date & Jump Hour Set
- With the crown unscrewed pull the crown outwards to the first notch also referred to as the second position.
- Set the date by turning the crown counterclockwise. The date will quickly jump through the days.
- The Jump Hour Set is achieved by turning the crown clockwise.
- When turning the crown clockwise the hour hand will jump forward in one hour increments while the seconds and minutes continue to run.
- Once set be sure to push in and screw down the crown.
