Dear Customer,
Congratulation on your new HORAGE Tourbillon 2,
we hope it brings you much joy in the years to come.
Please be sure to review the “Important Information” and “Operation
Instructions”
Listed below prior to using your Tourbillon 2.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Attention: In order to guarantee the reliability of your HORAGE watch, we have created a short list of recommendations for you.
Your Tourbillon 2 has a hand-wound movement. This means it must be wound first before it can run, and then again before the power reserve is depleted.
- The frst step you should take is to fully wind the movement by turning the crown approximately 40 times in a clockwise direction.
- The energy from winding the watch is stored in the main spring located in the main barrel, and this reserve of energy is referred to as the power reserve.
- The Tourbillon 2 has a power reserve of over 5 days, or 120 hours. A fully wound watch will run longer than 5 days, however, the amplitude or consistency of the energy will reduce after 5 days, and therefore the precision of the watch could be impacted.
USEFUL INFORMATION
- The accuracy of the Tourbillon 2 is calculated within a 5-day operating timeframe and therefore to ensure your watch remains precise please be sure to wind the watch on or before the 5th day prior to it last being wound..
- Although our movements utilize a silicon escapement that performs well in everyday magnetic fields. Strong magnetic forces can negatively impact a mechanical watch’s performance. We recommend that you keep your Tourbillon 2 away from magnets, batteries, or devices that emit strong magnetic fields.
- The Tourbillon 2 is very reliable; however, as a precision mechanical watch with many moving parts, impacts such as dropping the watch should be avoided.
- To ensure your watch remains water-resistant to the maximum water pressure designated on the watch case, always return the watch crown to the fully pushed-in position. Water resistance can be affected over time by impact shocks, chemical reactions with substances such as gasoline, adhesives, paints, cleaning sprays, etc.
- Excessive, continued turning of the crown can reduce the longevity of seals used for water resistance. If you frequently take your watch in the water, it is recommended to have its water resistance checked by your local watch service centre every three years.
- From time to time, you may feel a desire to clean your watch. Before doing so, please remove the strap as outlined in the operating instructions.
- Ideally, use a small plastic or rubber bowl and fill it with warm water and some gentle handwashing soap. Before placing the watch case in the warm water, be sure to check that the crown is in the pushed in and closed position.
- Using a soft cotton cloth, you can gently clean the case. Once finished, rinse the case with fresh water and pat dry with a dry, soft cotton towel. Afterward, buff with a microfiber hand towel.

Wind the watch
- The crown is located at 3 o’clock.
- To wind, turn the crown in a clockwise direction.
- Approximately 40 turns should be completed to ensure the watch is fully wound.
- A fully wound watch will run for over 5 days.
- The main barrel is fitted with an automatic clutch, which is a safety feature that prevents you from overwinding the watch.
- The mainspring, located between 12 and 1 o’clock, will compress with each turn of the crown and can be referenced as a visual power reserve indicator.
- To ensure continued accuracy, please rewind the watch within 5 days of the original winding. Although your watch can run longer than 5 days, amplitude begins to drop after the 5th day, and a drop in amplitude could reflect reduced timekeeping accuracy.
Setting the time
- Pull out the crown at 3 o’clock to the 1st and only position.
- Turn the crown counterclockwise until the hands are positioned just after the desired time.
- Turn the crown clockwise back to the desired time.
- Push in the crown back into its closed position.
Setting the time with stop second function

-
When the desired seconds are reached quickly adjust hand to exact hour and minutes and push in the crown to closed position.

- On the strap, there is a metal tab located on the underside of the strap nearest the lug..
- This tab allows you to compress the pin bar that extends to hold the strap in place in the lug holes.
- To remove the strap, simply press firmly down on the metal tab.
- Repeat the process with the other strap.
- To put a new Tourbillon 2 strap supplied by Horage on, simply reverse the process.

- The Stainless Steel cased Tourbillon 2 is fitted with a multi link Stainless Steel bracelet equipped with a butterfly style deployant clasp. The clasp is released by pressing the 2 buttons on either side of the bracelet at the same time, and allowing the clasp to fully open.
- The bracelet can be adjusted for size. We recommend taking your watch to a qualified watchmaker to have the bracelet adjusted for size, as it does require specialised tools.
