OVERVIEW

The watch has an hour hand, minute hand, screw-down crown, seconds hand and power reserve indicator. The power reserve indicator shows the amount of power left in the watch.

POWER SETTING
To set the power, unscrew the crown at 3 o’clock until it touches the case. Wind the crown forward to gain power.

TIME SETTING
To set the time, pull the crown at 3 o’clock to the second notch and wind it backwards. The time can be adjusted accordingly. Push the crown back in to start the watch.

MAINTENANCE

Service can be performed by any experienced watchmaker. It is recommended to exchange the seals to keep water resistance intact and lubricate the watch during this service. This is not mandatory, but it will help your watch maintain precision and extend its lifetime.

Dear Customer,
Congratulation on your new SOLAR WIND 42mm watch, we hope you enjoy using it.

USEFUL INFORMATION

Attention : To avoid movement defects, generally, hands should be moved clockwise while setting the time.
In order to guarantee the reliability of your HORAGE watch we recommend you to follow some directions:

  • Protect your watch from shocks and magnetic fields.
  • The fine mechanism of your HORAGE watch should be examined and maintained from time to time.
  • We recommend a revision and examination regarding the water resistance every three years (if often used in water, every two years). This should be done by an authorized HORAGE dealer.
  • Your watch will appreciate it and an impeccable function will be guaranteed.
  • Only diving watches are suited for swimming and diving. Your watch has been tested regarding the pressure indicated at the bottom of the case.
  • Before use in water, it needs to be checked whether the crown is pushed to the winding-up position in order to guarantee water resistance.
  • The indicated water resistance is only valid for newly manufactured watches. The water resistance can be affected with time by shocks, chemical reactions with gasoline, adhesives, paint, cleaning spray etc. and by frequent turning of the crown.
  • The watch automatically winds up with the movement of the wearer.
  • To put the watch into operation it needs to be wound up by 10 or 15 revolutions via the crown.
