Congratulations on your new HORAGE Lensman 2 Exposure, we hope it brings you
much joy in the years to come.
Please be sure to review the “Important Information” and “Operation
Instructions” listed below prior to using your Lensman 2 Exposure.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Attention : In order to guarantee the reliability of your HORAGE watch, we have created a short list of recommendations for you.
- Lensman 2 has a K2 automatic micro-rotor movement. This means it will automatically re-wind the mainspring whist being worn. If the watch has not been worn for a period of time and is not running, you should apply a few winds manually before it starts to run. You will manually wind via the crown.
- If the watch is not running, the first step you should take is to wind the movement by turning the crown approximately 20 times in a clockwise direction.
- The energy from winding the watch is stored in the main spring located in the main barrel, and this reserve of energy is referred to as the power reserve.
- The Lensman 2 has a power reserve of over 3 days or +72 hours. A fully wound watch will run longer than 3 days if not worn, however, the amplitude or consistency of the energy will reduce after 3 days, and therefore the precision of the watch could be impacted.
USEFUL INFORMATION

The accuracy of the Lensman 2 Exposure is calculated within a 3-day operating timeframe and therefore to ensure your watch remains precise please be sure to wear or manually wind the watch on, or before the 3rd day prior to it last being worn or wound.

Although our movements utilise a silicon escapement that performs well in everyday magnetic fields. Strong magnetic forces can negatively impact a mechanical watch’s performance.
We recommend that you keep your Lensman 2 away from magnets, batteries, or devices that emit strong magnetic fields. -
The Lensman 2 is very reliable; however, as a precision mechanical watch with many moving parts, impacts such as dropping the watch should be avoided.

To ensure your watch remains water-resistant to the maximum water pressure designated on the watch case, always return the watch crown to the fully pushed-in position.
Water resistance can be affected over time by impact shocks, and chemical reactions with substances such as gasoline, adhesives, paints, cleaning sprays, etc. -
Excessive, continued turning of the crown can reduce the longevity of seals used for water resistance. If you frequently take your watch in the water, it is recommended to have its water resistance checked by your local watch service centre every three years.

From time to time, you may feel a desire to clean your watch. Before doing so, please remove the strap as outlined in the operating instructions.

Ideally, use a small plastic or rubber bowl and fill it with warm water and some gentle hand-washing soap. Before placing the watch case in warm water, be sure to check that the crown is in the pushed-in and closed position.

Using a soft cotton cloth, you can gently clean the case. Once finished, rinse the case with fresh water and pat dry with a dry, soft cotton towel. Afterward, buff with a microfibre hand towel.

Positions
- 0 Crown Closed and Winding position
- 1 24 Hour GMT Time Set
- 2 Hour, Minutes, Seconds and 24 Hour Set
Time setting
- To properly time set it is important to note that Position 3 should be set prior to Position 2.
- Turn clockwise the GMT hand moves in one-hour increments. Turning counterclockwise nothing happens.

Position 1: 24-Hour GMT Hand Set

Set the 24-Hour Hand by turning the crown clockwise.

The 24-Hour Hand will jump in one-hour increments.

Once set be sure to push in the crown to position 0.

**Position 2: Setting 12-Hour Time (or reference time)

Pull the crown outwards to the second notch. The seconds hand will stop for more accurate time setting.

Turn the crown clockwise to set the Home hand and minutes correctly.

Once 12-Hour time and minutes are set push the crown in once to “Position 1” to set the 24-Hour GMT hand. If completely finished with time setting be sure to push in and screw down the crown.

Calculating Exposure For a Photograph
The calculation is based on an average calculation.

Lighting Conditions: Decide what lighting conditions you are in based on the bezel icons 7.
Sun Icon – Outdoors and sunny conditions
Cloud Icon – Outdoors and overcast conditions
Sunset/Sunrise Icon – Outdoors at sunset or sunrise. Can be used for darker and partially cloudy conditions
Light Bulb On Icon – Indoors with artificial lighting
Light Bulb Off Icon – Indoors with no artificial lighting making use of ambient light only
Night Icon – Outdoors at night under clear skies -
ISO Setting: Reference camera settings for what ISO you are set on (film/digital sensor sensitivity).
- Rotate ISO number to align with lighting condition.
- For example if you are using ISO 100 and you are outdoors in sunny conditions, rotate the bezel so that the 100 marker sits directly above the sunshine icon.

Shutter Speed & Aperture Setting: The output of recommended shutter speeds and F-Stop/Apertures will be shown on the opposing side of bezel.
- Once you have the output you can set your camera shutter speed and aperture to one of the suggested shutter speed and apertures provided on the bezel.
