FUNCTION OVERVIEW
Features
24-Hour Timer
Utilize the timer feature to automatically schedule your dehumidifier to turn
on or off within a maximum duration of 24 hours. When the device is running,
set a timer to cease operation at your desired hour. In standby mode, use the
timer to automatically start dehumidification within your specified time
frame.
FUNCTION OVERVIEW
Automatic Self-drying
The featured self-drying function effectively prevents moisture buildup and
mold growth inside the dehumidifier, thus greatly improving its efficiency,
performance, and lifespan. The automatic self-drying procedure takes about 50
minutes: the fan works for 30 minutes at high speed, followed by 20 minutes at
low speed.
Adjustable Fan Speed
Press the [ ] button to choose between high or low speed to customize the pace
of airflow in both AUTO and Continuous modes.
Two Modes Available:AUTO & CONTINUOUS
In Auto Mode, the dehumidifier automatically senses space humidity and adjusts
its operation accordingly to maintain the preset humidity level.
- When the humidity in your space falls below the target level by more than 5% RH, the compressor will stop running, then the fan will stop.
- lf the space humidity exceeds the preset level by more than 5% RH again, both the compressor and the fan will resume their operation as set.In Continuous Mode, the dehumidifier runs continuously to keep your space dry, with compressor operating and fan running at high speed.
NOTE: The preset humidity won’t be applied in Continuous Mode. However, you can adjust the airflow speed by pressing the [ ] button.
Auto Air Swing
The dehumidifier is designed with automatic air swing for improved airflow.
Press the [ ] and [ ] buttons simultaneously to enable or disable automatic
air swing.
Child Lock
This design keeps children from tempering with the device. Press and hold the
[M] button for 3 seconds to activate Child Lock protection. To deactivate,
simply repeat the process.
Auto Defrosting
The dehumidifier automatically detects and addresses frost build-up on its
coils to optimize energy efficiency and enhance operation in low temperatures.
The “p1′ symbol appears on the LCD display when defrosting is in progress.
Built-in Condensate Pump
(ONLY Applicable to YDZ-150PM)
A pump is incorporated into the YDZ-150PM model to drain water uphill or over
a long distance, catering to basements and other crawlspaces where constant
emptying of the water tank may not be plausible.
Press and hold the [ ] button for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the pump
function.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question One: Where should I place my dehumidifier for the most effective
moisture removal?
Dehumidifiers are most effective in areas with poor ventilation, such as
basements or bathrooms. With a water tank included, you can place it centrally
in the room to allow for better air circulation, or position it near the drain
pipes in your house for convenient water drainage.
Question Two: How often should I run my dehumidifier?
The frequency of use depends on the humidity levels in your environment. In
damp conditions, running the dehumidifier continuously or as needed is
recommended.
Question Three: Can I use the dehumidifier in winter?
Yes, the dehumidifier can work in winter as it’s designed to operate
effectively at lower temperatures. However, please note that as the air is
relatively dry in winter, the dehumidifier may not function when your space
temperature falls below 41°F.
Question Four: Why is warm air blown out of the air outlet?
The dehumidifier works by drawing in humid air and passing it over cooling
coils containing a refrigerant, which condenses moisture in the air into
liquid water. The cooling process results in the release of heat. Therefore,
the air leaving the coils is warmer than the incoming air.

Error Code Explanation
WATER DRAINAGE
Water Tank Drainage
A water tank is included for efficient water collection, significantly
enhancing the dehumidifier’s mobility. Water tank volumes: a 3.5 L/0.9 Gal
tank for the YDZ-80 and YDZ-120 models, and a 7 L/1.8 Gal tank for the YDZ-150
and YDZ-150PM models.
Full Tank Alarm
The dehumidifier automatically stops working when the water tank is full (both
the compressor and the fan will pause) and gives off a buzzer alarm with the
“FL” symbol flashing on the LCD display.
Tank Removal
- Use both hands to hold the water tank and gently pull it out of its position. Be careful not to spill water in the process.
- Next, lift the handle and grasp it to take the tank to a sink.
- Remove the anti-spill cover (located on the right side) and pour water out.
Reinstall the Tank
- After emptying the tank, reattach the cover and put down the handle.
- Next, hold the tank and slide it back into place.
- Turn the dehumidifier back on.
NOTE: Check if the float valve inside the water tank can rotate flexibly before putting the tank back into place.
Continuous Drainage
Connect the dehumidifier’s drain port to a drain hose for continuous water
outflow via (1) the included 3.3-ft long drain hose ( 013mm in diameter), or
(2) a standard garden hose with an out diameter of ø 1116 1 in (1.0625 in or
26.98 mm) and 11.5 TPI pitch (NOT Included).
- Step One: Locate the drain port on the back of the device, remove the cover, and unscrew the drain plug.
- Step Two: Attach the included hose to link to a drain hose with a 13 mm diameter, or directly connect to your garden hose.
Note:
- If the dehumidifier has been inactive for an extended period, it is recommended to clean the port beforehand. Additionally, use a cup to catch any remaining water before removing the cover.
- Maximum drainage length: 23.62 inches.
- The hose should run smoothly downhill and remain at least 3.94 inches lower than the drain port level to prevent water leakage.
Pump Drainage
(Only Applicable to YDZ-150PM)
The featured pump drainage of YDZ-150PM makes it convenient to drain water
uphill or over a long distance.
- Take out the hose with a 0.19″ inner diameter from the packaging.
- Locate the drain port on the back of the device, remove the cover, and unscrew the drain plug.
- Attach the 00.19″ hose to the dehumidifier’s drain port.
- Press and hold the [ ] button for 3 s to enable pump drainage.
Note: Maximum vertical height for pump drainage: 16.4 feet.
