Safety Instructions

Manual Settings:
Power ON/OFF: Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate the device.

CO Concentration and Symptoms:

Alarm and Indicators:
The device has the following alarm and indicator functionalities:

• Indicator is YELLOW: Indicates a warning or low CO concentration level.
• Indicator is RED: Which indicates a high CO concentration level or smoke danger.
• Alarm Lifting: Press the POWER button once to silence the alarm for 8 minutes.
• Blacklit Display: Quick press the POWER button three times to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

Wi-Fi Enabled App:
All the above manual settings can be achieved easily through the Tuya App and Wi-Fi connection.

Tuya App Guide:
To connect the device using the Tuya App, follow these steps:

1. Step 01:
   Tap Add Device or +. Before starting this process, please make sure both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your smartphone. Note that this process works on a 2.4GHz router. If your Wi-Fi router is working on 5GHz, please shift to 2.4GHz.

2. Step 02:
   Tap Add. The app will automatically find devices available for connecting.

3. Step 03:
   The app will automatically find the Wi-Fi ID for the device. Enter the password and tap Next.

4. Step 04:
   After the device is ready on the app, tap Done.

5. Step 05:
   The app home page displays real-time CO level, temperature, and humidity. Alarm and backlight icons are also displayed.

6. Step 06:
   You can shut down the alarm by tapping Shutdown Alarm Icon. Activate/deactivate backlight by tapping the Backlight Icon.

7. Step 07:
   To reset the values, tap Settings and follow the instructions in the app.

8. Step 08:
   To adjust the low alarm threshold, tap Low Alarm Threshold and use the -/+ buttons to increase/decrease the value. Confirm to save the setting.

9. Step 09:
   To set the alarm time length, tap Duration Time 1 and select the duration time length. Confirm to save the setting.

FAQ:

• Q: What Wi-Fi compatibility does this device require?
  A: This device requires 802.11b/g/n (2.4GHz) Wi-Fi.

• Q: Can I use this device with a 5GHz Wi-Fi router?
  A: No, this device will not work on 5GHz Wi-Fi.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not place the device outdoors where the temperature is below/above operating range. Do not place the device close to objects with flames, heat source (oven or sunlight), cold source, liquid and extreme temperature changes.
• The device is not intended to be used as a reference sensor, and PRODO will not bear responsibility for any damage which may result from inaccurate readings.
• Keep the battery charged. if it is not to be used for a long period. Otherwise, the battery might leak and damage the device. Never leave a discharged battery in the battery compartment.
• The device must never be subjected to shocks or impacts.
• Never use detergent or other solvents to clean the unit.
• Avoid spraying air freshener, hair spray, or other aerosols near the senser.
• Teach children how to respond to the alarm and that they should never play with the unit.

MANUAL SETTINGS

• Power ON/OFF: Press and hold POWER button for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate the device. The values will be automatically collected within 60 seconds after activation.
• CO Concentration and Symptoms:
• Alarm and Indicators:
  • When CO level is below 24ppm, the LED indicator is GREEN.
  • When CO level is between 25ppm to 49ppm, the alarm will chirp for 2 minutes, and the LED indicator is YELLOW.
  • When CO level is over 150ppm, the alarm will chirp for 8 minutes, and the LED indicator is RED.
  • When a dangerous smoke level is detected, the smoke alarm will sound for 8 minutes.
• Alarm Lifting:
  • Press POWER button or tap on Alarm Shut Down/Mute on the smartphone App to lift the alarm; The alarm will sound again after 8 minutes.
  • The alarm will stop automatically after the CO level keeps a value less than 24ppm for 20 seconds or smoke danger is lifted.
• Blacklit Display:
  • Press POWER button 2 times to display without backlit.
  • Press POWER button to backlit display mode.
• ℃ / ℉ Switch: Quick Press POWER button for 3 times to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• Wi-Fi Enabled App: All the above manual settings can be achieved easily through the Tuya App and Wi-Fi connection.
• Built-in Battery:
  • This device displays battery levels clearly as 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%.
  • When the battery is lower than 1%, low battery alarm will chirp for 20 seconds.
  • The device will activate automatically when the battery is charging.
  • It takes 4 hours to a full battery charge, and a full charge lasts for 6-8 hours.
• Installation Guide:
  • Wall mount installation is recommended for a better sight.
  • Keep this device 1-3 meters away from the potential CO source.
  • Install this device 1.5-6 meters away from a fire source.

TUYA APP GUIDE

• Download “Tuya” app or “Smart Life” from Apple App Store or Google Play Store and creat an account with phone number or email ID.
• Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and Wi-Fi is working on 2.4GHz, which will not work on 5GHz.
• If Wi-Fi icon is not on the display, quick press POWER 3 times to enable Wi-Fi on the device.
• When you connect this device to another smartphone or reset App connection, quick press POWER button 5 times to return to factory setting within 5-10 seconds.

Please follow the in-app steps for App connection as following:

Tuya App Registration
Download by searching “Tuya” app or “Smart Life” from Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or Scan the QR Code and creat an account with phone number or email ID. See the below Figure.

1. Step 01
   Tap Add Device or “+”. Before starting this process, please make sure both Wi- Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your smartphone. Note this process works on 2.4GHz router. If your Wi-Fi router is working on 5GHz, please shift to 2.4GHz.

2. Step 02
   Tap Add. App automatically finds devices available for connecting.

3. Step 03
   The App will automatically find the Wi-Fi ID for the device, just put in password then tap Next.

4. Step 04
   After the device is ready on the App,Tap Done.

5. Step 05
   The App home page dispalys real time CO level, temperature and humidity. Alarm, Shutdown Alarm and Backlight icons are also displayed.

6. Step 06
   You can close the alarm by tapping on the Alarm Icon.

7. Step 07
   When you don’t want the alarm any time, you can shut down the alarm by tapping Shutdown Alarm Icon.

8. Step 08
   Activate/Deactivate backlight by tapping Backlight Icon.

9. Step 09
   Tap Setting shown as above figure to reset the values.

10. Step 10
    Convert temperature between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

11. Step 11
    Tap Low Alarm Threshold to reset the CO Alarm threshold value.

12. Step 12
    Increase/Decrease the Low Alarm Threshold Value by “-“/”+”, and Confirm to save the setting.

13. Step 13
    Tap Duration Time 1 to set the alarm time length

14. Step 14
    Select the duration time length and Confirm to save the setting.

15. Step 15
    Tap Middle Alarm Threshold, and input a threshold value by “-” or “+” and Confirm to save the setting.

16. Step 16
    Tap Duration Time 2 to set the alarm time length. Select the duration time length and Confirm to save the setting.

17. Step 17
    Tap High Alarm Threshold, and input a threshold value by “-” or “+” and Confirm to save the setting.

18. Step 18
    Tap Duration Time 3 to set the alarm time length. Select the duration time length and Confirm to save the setting.

19. Step 19
    Smoke Alarm Time Length can be reset by tapping the Smoke Alarm Duration.

20. Step 20
    Select a Smoke Alarm time length and Confirm to save the smoke setting .

21. Step 21
    Check CO Value flunctuation by Day.

22. Step 22
    Check CO Value flunctuation by Month.

23. Step 23
    Check Temperature Value flunctuation by Day.

24. Step 24
    Check Temperature Value flunctuation by Month.

25. Step 25
    Check Humidity Value flunctuation by Day.

26. Step 26
    Check Humidity Value fluctuation by Month.

27. Step 27
    Tap EDIT icon to enter Device Information Page or Update the Device when update is required.

28. Step 28
    Device Information page can find the device ID.

29. Step 29
    When you have multiple devices, you can set up connection with the App by returning to home page and tapping “+” icon at upper right corner.

    Follow the same app in steps.
