SAFETY WARNINGS

Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.
General Safety Instructions

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
WARNING: In order to ensure your children‘s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent.
Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.
Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before cleaning.
This appliance must be installed following the national regulations for electrical installations.
This appliance is for household use only.

Special Safety Instructions

Use the device only for the intended purpose.
Always place the appliance on a stable, level and horizontal surface when you use it.

KEY FUNCTIONS

ON/OFF: turn on or turn off the scale.
Unit: shift the unit
HOLD: lock the weight for 30S
TARE: reset the LCD to 0.0.

OPERATION DETAILS

Power on
Battery supply mode: take off the battery cover at the back of the scale, put 2 AAA 1.5V batteries inside according to the identified battery slot and put on the battery cover.
External DC 5V power supply mode: connect the external power supply to AC power Off100V～ 240V,insert the DC plug to the DC socket in the back of the scale.
Press ON/OFF to turn on the scale, the LCD will show the whole picture“188.888”,and then“0.0g”
It means the scale is ok to weight.
If the “0.0g”is unstable for 10s, the LCD will display “UNSt”, the scale will auto power off in 1s.
Select weighing unit
Turn on the scale , press “UNIT” to select unit. It will show the unit order as lb→oz→lb:oz→kg:g, that can be recycled setThe scale will save the unit when the power is off. And the default unit will be the saved unit last time
Tare
When weighing, place the item in the center of the platform, press “TARE” to reset the LCD to “0.0” or save the tare weight (when tare weight is at 4% capacity, but it will not save the tare weight when tare weight is at 4% capacity. If the scale is stable, the LCD will show “0.0g”.Then continue to put the items to weigh, but the added weight plus the tare weight can not exceed the over load weight.
Weighing
When the LCD shows “0.0g”,it means it is ok to weigh. Place the item in the center of the scale platform ,the LCD will show the current weight. If the LCD shows a stable weight, a hint will come from the buzzer, the figure will show on the LCD that is the accurate weight of the item.
Locking weight
When the LCD shows “0.00g” then press “HOLD”，and hold for 3 seconds the LCD will flash to show the icon of “HOLD”, then place the item in the center of platform ,if the weight remains stable, the LCD will lock the figure of weight for 30s and icon “HOLD” will flash for a long time.
If the weight differs, the icon “HOLD” will flash again ,but the LCD keep the original weight. Then press “HOLD” to lock the new weight or exit the lock procedure. If the weight is 0.00g, it will exit the lock procedure or it will lock in the new weight.
Overload
When the weight is exceed 102% capacity, the LCD will show “Err. If the scale is overloaded for 3s, the scale will be auto power off. If the weight is reduced to the range of capacity in 3s, the scale can continue to be used.
Low battery indicator
If there is a sign of a battery flashing in the left corner of the LCD, it means the power is low, but the scale can still function.
If the LCD shows “Lo” and then auto power off, please change the batteries
Power off
-When the scale is on , press ON/OFF to turn off the scale.
-If the scale is not in use in 90 seconds or no weight change was occured, the scale will be power off automatically
-If the LCD display shows “Lo” , the scale will be power off automatically
-The scale will save the weight unit automatically after it powers off and will use this unit next time.

The weight unit will not be save if the scale is shut off. If the scale was inserted DC 5V battery, the scale will not auto power off, press ON/OFF to turn off the scale

ADVICE FOR USE AND CARE

Always put the scale on a clean and flat table.
To ensure the life of the scale，do not put the scale under wet, hot & cold conditions.
The product is a high precision electronic weighing apparatus. Therefore do not drop otherwise the scale can be easily damaged.
If the scale surface is dirty, please clean the scale with soft cloth, do not use any chemical detergent and don’t allow water to get inside the scale.
