Orbegozo ADR 126 Local Air Conditioner

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Connect the connectors 2 and 3 to both sides of the output hoseto create an exhaust assembly.
  2. Slide one end of the hose assembly (with hose connector #2) to the rear panel and turn the knob to fix the hose assembly firmly.
  3. Insert window panels B and C to each end of main panel A. Adjust the length of window panels using screws and nuts mounted on both ends of main panel A.
  4. Open the window and place the window panels into it. Adjust the extension panels to fit the window’s width or height by using screw and nut sets mounted on the main panel A.
  5. Insert the other end of the exhaust hose assembly (with hose connector #3) onto the window bracket.
  6. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet and press the Power button.
  7. Allow at least 8 inches of space around the unit for proper air circulation.
  8. When removing the portable air conditioner for storage, the window panel may be left in place. Simply place the cover (#5) over the hole on the window panel.

INTRODUCTION

Thank you for choosing this air conditioner to provide you and your family with all of the “Home Comfort” requirements for your home, cottage or office. The appliance can be moved from room to room within your home and set-up in just minutes.

It is a multi-functional room air exchanging, air-processing appliance, designed to offer you the functions of: air conditioning, dehumidifier and fan.This manual will provide you with valuable information necessary for the proper care and maintenance for your new appliance. Please take a few minutes and read the instruction thoroughly. If properly maintained, your appliance will give you many years of trouble free operation.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliance basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following:

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
  2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  3. Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
  4. WARNING: In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
  5. If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent.
  6. Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
  7. Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.
  8. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
  9. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  10. Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before cleaning.
  11. This appliance must be installed following the national regulations for electrical installations.
  12. This appliance is for household use only.

WARNING: Improper handling can cause serious damage to the appliance. Read this manual carefully before operating the unit.

Make sure that the back of the unit is at least 30 cm or more from a wall. Do not place the unit in front of curtains or drapes in case they fall against the back air intake .

CONTROL PANEL

LED Display Note: The default display is room temperature

  1. Power switch: Turns unit on/off
  2. Auto timer
  3. Mode: Allows you to scroll through desired operating modes.
  4. Fan: Select from three different fan settings: high, medium, and low.
  5. Up/down buttons: By pressing both + and buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds, the display will toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Press + and – for temperature change. You can turn on/off the front and top panel lights by hitting the Lamp On/Off switch.
  6. Warning light: Condensed water may accumulate in the unit. If the internal tank becomes full, the warning signal in the LED display will light up and the unit will not operate until it has been drained.

Note: After turning the unit off, it is necessary to wait 3 minutes before turning it back on again.
The preset temperature of cooling mode iS 24°C.

AIR CONDITIONING
Note: The exhaust hose must be properly vented outdoors during air conditioning mode.

  1. Press the POWER SWITCH button to switch on the unit, and the most recent set temperature will be shown in the temperature display area of the control panel.
  2. Press the MODE button until the COOL indicator light illuminates on the control panel. Each depression of the MODE button will advance to a different mode setting (Cool – Dehumidifier-fan-heat)
  3. Press the appropriate increase + or decrease buttons to select a suitable operating temperature setting. Temperature settings are adjustable between 16°C (61°F) to 32°C (89°F.)
  4. Press the FAN button to select the desired fan speed setting (High-Med-Low). Your selection will appear on the control panel (each depression of the fan key will advance to a different setting.)

Note: Heating mode will only work when the room temperature is below 25 °C.The temperature can be selected between 16 °C and 25 °C.

REMOTE CONTROL

Air Conditioner Remote Control
The functions work the same as your air conditioner’s touch controls.

Batteries: Remove the cover on the back of the remote controller and insert the batteries with the + and ( – ) poles pointing in the proper direction.

CAUTION

  • Use only AAA or IEC R03 1.5V batteries.
  • Remove the batteries if the remote control iS not used for a month or longer.
  • Do not attempt to recharge the supplied batteries.
  • All batteries should be replaced at the same time, do not mix old battery .
  • Do not dispose of the batteries in a fire as they may explode.

  3. Insert the window panels B and C to each end of main panel A.

  4. Open the window and place window panels into window. Adjust the extension panels to fit width or height of window by the screw and nut sets mounted on the main panel A

  5. Insert the other end of exhaust hose assembly (with hose connector #3) onto window bracket

  6. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet and press the “Power” button.

  7. Please allow 8” of space around the unit for proper air circulation.

  8. When removing the portable air conditioner for storage, the window panel may be left in place. Simply place the cover (#5) over the hole on the window panel.

CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE

The function of continuous drainage can be started in the following steps when there is a good condition of drainage near by the unit.

MAINTENANCE AFTER USING

  1. If the appliance will not be used for a long time, be sure to Pull out the rubber plug of the drain port underside, in order to drain the water.
  2. Keep the appliance running with fan only for a half day in a sunshiny day to dry the appliance inside and prevent form going moldy.
  3. Stop the appliance and pull out the power supply plug, then take out the batteries of remote controller and keep it well.
  4. Clean the air filter and reinstall it.
  5. Remove the air hoses and keep them well, and cover the hole tightly.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The following cases may not always be a malfunction, please check it before asking for service.

Trouble/Analysis

Does not run

  • If the protector trip or fuse is blown.
  • Please wait for 3 minutes and start again, protector device may be preventing unit from working.
  • If batteries in the remote control are used up.
  • If the plug is not properly plugged.

Stops running during operation

  • If the set temperature is close to room temperature, you can lower the set temperature.
  • Air outlet be blocked by obstacle. Take the obstacle away.

Runs but does not cool

  • If the door or window open.
  • If there is other heater appliance work nearby, like heater or lamp, etc …
  • The air filter is dirty, please clean it.
  • Air outlet or intake be blocked.
  • Set temperature is too high.

Does not run and water full indicator is lit

  • Drain the water into a prepared container by the drainage pipe on the rear panel of the unit. If it still doesn’t work, please consult a qualified technician.
