We’re so glad you decided to read the instructions to your new Duux Dock &
Battery pack! Many users casually dismiss instructions and seek to figure it
out on their own. But studies show that people who read instructions will get
up to speed more quickly and efficiently than those who poke around with trial
and error.

Important safety instructions
WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow
the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. Use this battery pack
for Whisper Flex wireless fans only. Refer to the marking label and
instruction manual provided with the product.
- Do not dismantle, open or shred cells of the battery pack.
- Do not short-circuit a battery pack. Do not store battery packs haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by conductive materials. When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
- Do not expose the battery pack to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
- Do not subject the battery pack to mechanical shock.
- In the event of a batter pack leaking, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
- Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or battery pack has been swallowed.
- Keep the battery pack clean and dry.
- Wipe the battery pack terminals with a clean, dry cloth if they become dirty.
- The battery pack needs to be charged before use. Always refer to this instruction and use the correct charging procedure.
- Do not maintain the battery pack on charge when not in use.
- After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the battery pack several times to obtain maximum performance.
- The battery pack gives its best performance when it is operated at a normal room temperature (20⁰C ±5⁰C).
- When disposing the battery pack, keep the battery packs of different electrochemical systems separate from each other.
- Recharge only with the charger specified by Duux. Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
- Do not use any battery pack which is not designed for use with the equipment.
- Keep the battery pack out of reach for children.
- Retain the original product instructions for future reference.
- Remove the battery from the equipment when not in use.
- Dispose of properly
Compatibility
Check compatibility before placing the battery pack. Both the product and the battery pack must contain this label to ensure optimal performance. Please contact customer service if you have any questions about battery pack compatibility.
Installation

Remove the battery cover by moving the locking slider to the unlock position.

Place the battery pack inside the battery compartment.
Note: The connection points should be facing downwards. -
Place the battery cover back and firmly press it shut.

Plug the power adapter into the dock

Place the fan base on the dock.
The battery pack will automatically charge when the product is connected to the power adapter.
First use
Allow the battery to fully charge before using the product.

Install the battery back

Leave the product in standby mode

The battery will automatically reach full charge
Note: The battery level indicator on the product shows the charging status -
Don’t disconnect from power before it has reached full charge.
Charging
Usage
- The battery pack will not be fully charged upon first use. To ensure best performance, completely charge the battery pack before using your fan for the first time.
- A battery pack will slowly lose its charge when kept out of the charger or left in an u plugged charger for a long time. It may need to be recharged before use.
- The Li-ion battery can be charged at any time without reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging procedure does not damage the battery pack.
- To increase the lifespan of the battery, remove it from the product before storage.
Safety
- The Li-ion battery is protected against deep discharging. When the battery is empty, th product is switched off by means of a protective circuit and will no longer operate.
- Do not turn the product on after a low battery caused it to shut down. Doing so will cause the battery to become over discharged.
- The safe temperature range for operating and storing the battery pack is between 0⁰C and 45⁰C.
- In a warm environment or after heavy use, the battery pack may become too hot to permit charging. Allow time for the battery pack to cool down before recharging.
- A significant reduced working period after charging indicates the battery pack is used and must be replaced.
Transport & maintenance
Transport
The contained Li-ion batteries are subject to dangerous goods legislation
requirements. Dispatch batteries only when the battery housing in undamaged.
Pack up the batteries in such a manner that cannot move around in the
packaging.
Maintenance
Clean the battery with a soft, clean and dry cloth or brush.

Li-ion battery. The European directive 2012 / 19 / CE on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Return exhausted batteries to your local collection or recycling point.
Do not tamper with or disassemble the battery. Do not dispose the battery into fire. Stop using the battery immediately if it gets expanded. Do not expose the battery to excessive heat, direct sunlight, fire or hot enclosures.
