Precautions
Before installing the Central Control Unit (CCU), ensure that the power
source meets the specified requirements and that all components are in good
condition.
Mounting
- Mount the Control Mote (CM) at a height of 5 feet from the floor.
- For drywall installation, drill a 5/16 inch hole and insert the provided anchors.
- Secure the CM in place using the provided #6-13 1 screws. Refer to Figure 2 for visual guidance.

PRECAUTIONS
- Failure to wire devices with the correct polarity when using a shared transformer may result in damage to any device powered by the shared transformer.
- Turn off power before installing. Never connect or disconnect wiring with the power turned on.
- Do not run the low voltage wiring in any conduit with line voltage.
- Install in accordance with all state and local codes.
MOUNTING

Mount the Control Mote (CM) level 5’ from the floor. When using drywall anchors, drill a 5/16” hole and insert the provided anchors. Screw the CM into place using the provided #6-13 1” screws. See Figure 2.

Mount the 75F® CCU Tablet. Ensure that the power and volume buttons are facing upward and that the two slots on the bottom of the tablet match with the two tabs on the CM. Align the tabs to the slots, tilt, and push back the tablet until it clicks into place. If power is supplied to the CM and the tablet is powered on, you will see a USB icon in the upper left status bar of the tablet. The blue outline of a cloud signifies that data is being transmitted. See Figure 3
Optional for External Antenna
For CM board with external antenna – 7C-CM-C1K-XA
Connect the antenna to the CM Board as shown in Figure 4. Rotate the antenna
clockwise to lock in place.
