The distributor warrants all of its lighting fixtures against defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years from the date of purchase. If within this period the roduct is found to be defective, take a copy of the bill of sale as a proof of purchase and the product in its original carton to the place of purchase. The distributor will, at its option, repair , replace or refund the purchase price to the consumer . All costs of installation and removal of the fixture is the responsibility of the consumer . This warranty does not cover fixtures becoming defective due to misuse, accidental damage or improper handling and/or installation and specifically excludes liability for direct, incidental or consequential damages. As some states do not allow exclusions of limitations on an implied warranty , the above exclusion and limitation may not apply. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from st ate to state.

Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to install the product.

WARNING

• Never use this product with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. DO NOT alter the plug.
• T o reduce the risk of electric shock, DO NOT use the product if power cord is frayed or broken.
• Always unplug this product before replacing bulbs.

CAUTION

• The lighting string is rated 9.6 watts; do not overload. Connect end-to-end a maximum of forty-five (45) light strings or deco rative lighting of the same type.

SAFETY INFORMATION

• This product employs overload protection (fuse). If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet and any product that m ay be attached. Replace the fuse, following product marking for proper fuse rating, and check the product. If the new fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded.
• Risk of Fire/Risque d’incendie/Riesgo de incendio: DO NOT use bulbs having a wattage greater than the maximum value stated on the product.
• Replace fuse only with 5-amp, 125-volt fuse.
• Replace bulb only with 0.80-watt max. candelabra-base bulb.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Hang the lights (A) in the desired location. WARNING : Do not secure the cord with staples or nails.
2. Plug power cord of lights (A) into wall outlet. DANGER: If using this light in a WET or DAMP location, connect this product to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet to reduce the risk of personal injury , electrical shock or death. If one is not provided,contact a qualified electrician for proper installation.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Disconnect from main power supply . Wipe lights with soft, damp cloth. Use mild cleaner to clean shade. Do not use an abrasive c leaner on lights.
• Total wattage for this fixture is 9.6 watts.

1. Bulb Replacement
Replacement bulbs (5657739) are available on lowes.com.

• Remove shade by twisting counterclockwise.
• Replace bulb.
• Replace shade.
• Plug in cord and test.

2. Fuse Replacement
Note: Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged.

• Slide open the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug toward blades.
• Replace with fuse (B) and slide closed fuse access cover .
