THIS PRODUCT IS ONLY SUITABLE FOR WELL INSULATED SPACES OR OCCASIONAL USE.
Use this appliance in a good insulated room that can be aerated and ventilated regularly.
Do not cover the appliance or air flow.
Not recommended for use in draughty locations.

WARNINGS / CAUTIONS

  • Do NOT cover the heater or any ventilation holes as this will cause the automatic cut off the activate and the heater to overheat.
  • Do NOT use to dry clothing. DO NOT use this heater in a closed cupboard or near laundry.
  • Keep away from children and pets.
  • Do NOT use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
  • Do not use in areas where petrol, paint or flammable liquids are used or stored.
  • Not suitable for wall mounting.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

  • The wheels must be attached before the heater is operated.
  • Swivel wheels are supplied with the device. You must mount them on the supplied mounting plates and then attach these wheels to the unit before use.

WARNING: Do not operate it without the wheels. Only operate the heater in an upright position (wheels on the bottom and control elements on top), any other position would be dangerous.

OPERATION FUNCTIONS

CONTROL BUTTONS

The unit can be operated using the remote control or the control panel on the side of the unit. The keys have the same functions.

Power : switch on or standby
Mode: power level selection
Timer : timer setting
Temperature setting : Temp up / Temp down

POSITIONING THE HEATER

  • Place the unit in an upright position on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface.
  • Ensure that there are no flammable or heat-sensitive materials or substances within one metre of the front and 50 cm of the rear and sides of the unit. Using the heater in another position can be dangerous.

CONNECTING THE HEATER

  • Before inserting the plug into a suitable wall outlet, make sure that the unit is intact, properly assembled and that the cord is not damaged. To avoid overloading a circuit, connect the unit only to a circuit where no other equipment is connected.
  • When the power switch is in the OFF position [0], insert the plug into an earthed outlet and turn on the power.

SWITCHING ON/ OFF

  • Turn the power switch on the side of the unit to the “On” position to power the unit. On the display screen, the power symbol lights up.
  • Press the “Power” button on the control panel or remote control to turn on the unit. The unit starts to operate with high power.
  • On the display screen, the “high power” and “°F” symbols light up, as well as the default temperature or the last set temperature.
  • Press the On/Off button to stop the operation and put the unit into standby mode. Only the power symbol remains lit on the display screen.
  • Turn the power switch on the side of the unit to the OFF position to turn off the power to the unit.

SELECTING A POW ER LEVEL

Press the Mode button repeatedly to select a power level :

  • Low power (600W)
  • Medium power (900W)
  • High power (1500W)

On the display screen, the symbol for the corresponding power level lights up.

SETTING THE TEM PERATURE

The unit has a thermostat that allows you to set the temperature from 59°F to 95°F. Once the temperature has been set, the unit remains on until the room temperature reaches the temperature of the digital display. The thermostat then turns on and off to maintain the set room temperature.

  • Turn on the unit and set the desired power level.
  • Then use the [ + / ] and [ – / ] buttons to set the desired temperature, between 59°F and 95°F.
  • On the display screen, the set temperature lights up.
  • While the unit is heating the room, the thermometer symbol continues to flash until the set temperature is reached. It will then remain on until the heater turns on again when the room temperature drops below the set temperature.

SETTING THE TIMER ( auto-off )

When the appliance is on, you can set the timer to automatically turn off the heater after a certain time (112 hours from the time the function is set). To set the self-timer, proceed as follows :

  • Press the timer button several times to set the number of hours after which the unit should turn off.
  • On the display screen, the timer icon lights up when the timer is set. It turns off when the unit turns off at the set time.
  • The heater switches on and off according to the set temperature and stops working when the set time has elapsed.

Example: It is now 4pm. The heater is on and you want to turn it off automatically at 11pm. Set the timer-off function to 7 hours; the unit turns on and off to maintain the set temperature. It will stop at 11pm and go into standby mode.

SETTING THE TIMER ( auto-off )

You can also set the timer to automatically turn the unit on after a certain time (1 to 12 hours from the time the function is set).

  • Press the power switch on the side of the unit to power the unit.
  • Press the timer button several times to set the number of hours after which the heater should be switched on.
  • On the display screen, the timer icon lights up when the timer is set. It turns off when the unit turns on at the programmed time.
  • The heater switches on automatically when the time expires. It will then turn on and off according to the temperature and power level settings set.

Example : It is now 4pm. You want the heater to turn on at 6:00 p.m. Set the timer function to 2 hours; the heater will start operating at 6 p.m.
Note : The automatic start and stop functions cannot be combined. In other words, once you have set the heater to turn on automatically, you cannot set it to turn off automatically.

CLEANING AND M AINTENANCE

  1. Always remove the plug from the socket and allow the radiator to cool before cleaning.

  2. Clean the radiator with a soft, damp cloth.
    WARNING:
    Do not immerse the device in water. Do not use cleaning chemicals such as detergents and abrasives. Do not allow water to enter the interior, as this could create an electrical hazard.

  3. Wrap the cable around the bracket and store the unit in a clean, dry place.

WARNINGS AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED:

  • READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
  • FOR DOMESTIC INDOOR USE ONLY.
  • DO NOT USE OUTDOORS OR FOR COMMERCIAL USE.
  • NEVER LEAVE THE UNIT RUNNING UNATTENDED.
  • THE UNIT SHOULD NOT BE USED IN A ROOM WITH A FLOOR AREA OF LESS THAN 5M2 .
  • DO NOT USE THE HEATER IN THE IMMEDIATE SURROUNDINGS OF A BATH, A SHOWER OR A SWIMMING POOL.
  • CHECK NO OTHER EQUIPMENT IS BEING USED ON THE SAME ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT AS YOUR PRODUCT TO AVOID OVERLOADING.
  • THIS HEATER IS FILLED WITH A PRECISE QUANTITY OF SPECIAL OIL. REPAIRS REQUIRING OPENING OF THE OIL CONTAINER ARE ONLY TO BE MADE BY A QUALIFIED REPAIRER.
  • BEFORE USE, CHECK THOROUGHLY FOR ANY DEFECTS AND DO NOT USE IF DEFECTS ARE FOUND. TAKE CARE NOT TO DROP THE APPLIANCE AS HEAVY IMPACTS MAY CAUSE INTERNAL DAMAGE.
  • BEFORE CONNECTING THE APPLIANCE, CHECK IF THE VOLTAGE INDICATED ON THE BOTTOM OF THE APPLIANCE IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MAINS VOLTAGE IN YOUR HOME.
  • CHECK THE APPLIANCE AND POWER CABLE CAREFULLY FOR DAMAGE BEFORE EACH USE.
  • THIS APPLIANCE CAN BE USED BY CHILDREN AGED FROM 8 YEARS AND ABOVE AND PERSONS WITH REDUCED PHYSICAL, SENSORY OR MENTAL CAPABILITIES OR LACK OF EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE IF THEY HAVE BEEN GIVEN SUPERVISION OR INSTRUCTION CONCERNING USE OF THE APPLIANCE IN A SAFE WAY AND UNDERSTAND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED. CHILDREN SHALL NOT PLAY WITH THE APPLIANCE. CLEANING AND USER MAINTENANCE SHALL NOT BE MADE BY CHILDREN WITHOUT SUPERVISION.

  • ENSURE THERE IS SUFFICIENT DISTANCE BETWEEN THIS APPLIANCE AND OTHER ITEMS ON THE WORK SURFACE OR WORK STATION, OR SUFFICIENT DISTANCE BETWEEN THE APPLIANCE AND THE CONFINES OF THE AREA IN WHICH IT IS SITUATED. WE RECOMMEND A MINIMUM CLEARANCE AROUND ALL FACES OF AT LEAST 10CM.

  • ANY REPAIRS MUST BE CONDUCTED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN OR ELECTRICAL SERVICE AGENT.

WARRANTY

TRUSTECH warrants this product against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, TRUSTECH will either 1) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or 2) replace the product with a new product that is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or provide a store credit in the amount of the purchase price of the original product. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part installed in accordance with instructions provided by TRUSTECH, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes TRUSTECH’ s property. When a store credit is given, the original product must be returned to TRUSTECH and becomes TRUSTECH’ s property. To obtain warranty service, e-mail TRUSTECH Limited Warranty Service at Support@trustechproducts.com. Please be prepared to describe the product that needs service and the nature of the problem.

This warranty does not apply to:
a) damage caused by failure to follow instructions relating to product’ use or the installation of components; b) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, floods, earthquake or other external causes; c) damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of TRUSTECH; d) accessories used in conjunction with a covered product; e) a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability; f) items intended to be periodically replaced by the purchaser during the normal life of the product including, without limitation, batteries or light bulbs; g) any product sold “as is” including, without limitation, floor demonstration models and refurbished items; or h) a product that is used commercially or for a commercial purpose.
