parasol. Disassemble by following the setup steps in reverse.
• IMPORTANT! The parasol must be secured in place on the ground with HJÄLTÖN
or SVARTÖ parasol base, sold separately, or with 4 slabs of concrete, cement
or similar material. Recommended size of the slabs is 50×50 cm (about 20×20”)
with a total weight of min. 90 kg (199 lb). Slabs are not included but are
available at a DIY store. Make sure the ground is level and firm. Distribute
the slabs around the cross brace as shown in the assembly instructions.
• Assemble the parasol by following the assembly instructions carefully.
• Do not assemble the parasol on sandy, muddy or loose soil.
• Keep children and pets away while setting up the parasol.
• Children must be supervised around the parasol.
• This parasol is for outdoor use only.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To clean the canopy, take it off the parasol frame by following the assembly
instructions. Follow the care instructions that are sewn in to the fabric.
Never use solvent-based detergents since these may bleach the material and
damage the fabric. Also, do not use any alkali or acidic detergents or steam
blasters to clean the parasol.
To clean the parasol frame, wipe it with a mild soapy solution. It is not
recommended to clean plastic or metal products with a strong cleaner or an
abrasive material since it may discolour or damage the surface.
Repair: The parasol frame is painted with a powder coating of plastic paint.
If for some reason the coating comes off, the parasol frame is not protected
and this may result in rust. To repair the damage, wipe clean and repaint to
restore the protection.
STORAGE
We recommend that you close the parasol when not in use and put a waterproof cover on it. Before putting the cover on, please make sure that your parasol is completely dry and clean. During the off-season, store the covered parasol in a cool and dry place indoors.
