Installation
Assembly of the seat heating system must be done by appropriately trained

Connection Setup
Connect the plugs as follows:
- Plugs 1 and 3 must not be connected. They should be connected to the designated counterparts on the seat.

The seat heating system has two heating levels:
- Level 1: 25% heating output
- Level 2: 100% heating output

Assembly may only be carried out by appropriately trained personnel.
The safety instructions must be read through before first use. When installed, the following points must be observed to ensure safe operation and a long service life of the heating element.
- The heating element may only be operated when a person is standing on it. This person must be able to feel and react to temperatures. Persons with disturbed temperature sensation who have who experience difficulties in sensing temperature, e.g. paraplegics, children or elderly persons, must not use the heating element. This also applies, for example, to persons whose heat sensation is disturbed as a result of operations or medication, as there is a risk of burn injuries. The heating element, as well as any other heating device, should not be switched on and left unattended. Accidental activation of the heating element should be avoided.
- If the person sitting on or using the heating element feels excessive temperatures with the heating element turned on, reduce the heat output or turn the heater off completely. For continuous use, the heater should be set to the lowest heat setting.
- The seat must not come into contact with sharp objects such as knives, nails, needles, pins or tools that could penetrate and pierce the surface of the seat or the heating element. Penetrating objects could damage the heating element and result in overheating of the seat heater. An overheated seat can cause serious injury.
- pointed objects must not be transported or placed on the seat. Excessive weight or placing a heavy object on the seat may damage the heating element and adversely affect operation. Additional covers or seat pads are not permitted.
- The power supply may only be provided via the wiring harness supplied by Wunderlich. Manipulation of the power supply is not permitted and can damage the seat.
- If the switched-on heating element causes an unusual odor or a strongly uneven heat distribution, the heating element must be switched off immediately and the customer service must be contacted. It is not permitted to modify the heating element. It is not possible to remove the heating element while maintaining its function.
- When the heating element is switched on, it must not be covered with insulating material (incl. blankets, jackets, cushions, bags, seat covers, children‘s seats, slipcovers, etc.) Attention: Overheating; fire hazard!
- the cover of the bench is waterproof and the seams are sealed, but the heating element must not be exposed to excessive moisture. Excessive contact with liquids may affect the operation of the heating element and result in a shortened service life. At no time should the heater be operated when the internal components are damp or wet from any substance. After driving in the rain, allow the seats to dry thoroughly. Likewise, the heating element is not suitable for drying clothing or objects.
- Depending on the vehicle and the switch position, the seat heating may remain switched on at the previously set heating power after the vehicle is restarted. Before each journey, check whether the seat heating is switched on, in particular the switch position of the pillion seat if there is no pillion on board, and switch it off accordingly.
- On our AKTIVKOMFORT seats, the heating element is technically integrated in such a way that it provides thorough heating of the seat. This is the type of heat that is perceived as particularly pleasant and beneficial. Due to the hysteresis, it is sensible and recommended to switch on the seat heating as early as possible. The uniform heating phase of the seat core can take some time and is design-related. The seat pressure supports the heat transfer of the heating element.
- If electrical components are to be installed, they must always be secured according to their specifications. In addition, circuits may not be combined with one another. Cable harnesses must be laid without rubbing and not exposed to tensile stress.
