KETTLE OPERATION
For the first time using, it is recommended that you fill the kettle to the maximum level mark with fresh tap water, boil, and empty the kettle at least two times to clear the kettle of any dust or materials from the manufacturing process. Do not drink this water.

  1. Remove the kettle from the base to fill it. Press the switch at the top of the handle to open the lid. Pour water into the kettle to the desired level, (no less than MINIMUM and no more than MAXIMUM) press the lid shut, and place the kettle back on the base unit.
    CAUTION : Too little water may damage the heating element and too much water may cause water to splatter from the kettle.

  2. Connect the plug to the power outlet, and turn the kettle on by pressing the START/CANCEL button.
    Ensure the kettle is positioned so the spout is facing away from you.

  3. The kettle will automatically switch itself off once the water into a container or cup.

  4. Lift the kettle from the base and pour the water into a container or cup.

  5. The boiling process can be terminated at any time by lifting the kettle off the power base.
    CAUTION: Do not lift the lid during boiling.

HOW TO USE THE KETTLE

Three preset functions

  • Heat preservation button
  • Function mode button|
  • Power on/off button

Power on/off button

  • Connect the power supply, Hold 3 seconds, and Press the switch on/off button slightly, it lights up a row of lights from left to right (170F(77C)-180F(82C)-195F(91C)-203F(96)-212F(100C)-Heat preservation lamp, then from heat preservation button-Function mode button- Power on/off button).
  • The first row of small lights turn off, and the three bottom rows of key lights will light up lastly, the functions selection mode will be started.
  • Long press the power on/off button in 3 seconds to turn off the power, then the power on/off button light is steady light up, and the other light off. At the same time, while pressing other buttons, it will not have any reaction. If want to restart, you should long press the power on/off button again.

Function mode button
Connect the power supply well, all white LED lights will light up in 1 second, and the buzzer will beep. It will enter the standby mode, and it has two statuses (Image A & B).

Heat preservation mode

  • As standard, press the heat preservation mode to keep warm function, while connecting the power supply and flickering the lights.
  • Connecting the power supply, press the heat preservation button, it indicates light and starts to keep the warm function. Press it again, it stops the warm function and lights it out. The heat preservation mode is as follows.

Notice : Connect the power supply, while the light of three buttons flickering in the meanwhile,it is ready mode. Firstly, Press the button“M” to choose the desired function, such as white tea at 170F(77C), secondly, press the button“Heat preservation” to reach the preset temperature and start the warm function.

Caution
Overheating protection, Overheating exceeds 105℃ from the sensor, the power on/off flickering red light, while it is buzzer 10 alarming.
No altitude sickness, this kettle can work regularly equal to or under the 2000m plateau section.
Memory function, while powered on, it can continue working function as last time.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Do not attempt to dismantle the kettle or power base. There are no user-serviceable parts.
    For service or repair, contact an authorized electrician.

  2. To prolong the kettle’s life, please clean the mineral deposits in the kettle regularly.

  3. Always unplug from the plug socket and allow to cool down before cleaning.

  4. Do not immerse the power cord, kettle or power base in water.

  5. Do not use chemicals, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle as these will scratch the surface and fade the outside color.

  6. Periodical descaling is required. The interval of descaling depends on the hardness of the water in your area and the frequency of using the kettle.

  7. Fill the kettle with 0.5 liters of white vinegar and the remainder with water and allow to stand for at least one hour.

  8. Empty the solution from the kettle. Wipe the remaining deposits with a damp cloth.

  9. Fill the kettle with clean water, bring it to a boil, and then discard the water. Repeat at least once or until no mineral deposits are left and the kettle will be ready to use.

  11. Do not remove the plug from the power outlet by pulling flex-always grip the plug.
  12. Do not allow the cord to come in contact with heated surfaces during operation.
  13. Do not twist, kink or wrap the cord around the appliance, as this may cause the insulation to weaken and split.
  14. Do not store the kettle while it is still hot.
  15. This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
  16. Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
  17. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
  18. Do not fill the kettle while positioned on its base. Dry off any water on the bottom of the kettle before placing on the power base.
  19. Use the kettle only with the power base provided.
  20. Do not use the kettle to heat anything other than water. Do not use any base unit other than the one supplied. The use of any accessory or attachment not recommended by the manufacturer may result in free, electrical shock or personal injury.
  21. Do not insert any object into slots or holes of the kettle.
  22. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
