Steps of Assembly

  1. Roller Assembly: Insert roller connector (A-3) into right roller (A-2), fasten it with bolt (A-A-1). Link the left roller (A-1) to the connector (A-3), fasten it with bolt (A-A-1). Now you have a full length roller.
    Steps of Assembly

  2. Front bar assembly: Insert front bar connector (C-3) into right front bar (C-2), fasten with bolt (A-A-1). Link left front bar (C-1) with the connector (C-3), fasten it with bolt (A-A-1). Now you have a full length front bar.
    Steps of Assembly

  3. Torsion bar assembly: Insert torsion bar connector (B-3) into right torsion bar (B-2), fasten with bolt (B-B-1). Link left torsion bar (B-1) with connector (B-3), fasten with bolt (B-B-1). Now you have a full length torsion bar.
    Steps of Assembly

  4. Installation of gear box: Combine left roller support (D-1) with gear box (D-3) through bolt (D-4) M6x50, refer to Diagram 1. Then install right roller support (E-1) and round shaft cover (E-2) together as in Diagram 2.

  5. Installing of arm shoulder: Assemble arm shoulder (H), bolt M10x65 (G), washer and adjustable bolt M10x30 (I) together, refer to Diagram 3.

  6. Torsion bar and arm shoulder assembly: Link torsion bar and arm shoulder, tighten arm shoulder with bolt M10x65 (G) with socket head wrench. Set positions of arm shoulder for both side against different awning sizes. (This step is already done by factory.)
    Steps of Assembly

  7. Arm shoulder Assembly: Link both left (L-1) and right (L-2) arms with corresponding arm shoulder through bolt Ml0xS0 (K).
    Steps of Assembly
Warning: Arms should be tied together during installation to avoid bouncing out and causing injury.

  8. Spread out both of the fabrics (M) and valance (O) and insert fabric liner (N). Push one end of fabric with liner inserted into gauges on roller, then the other end through front bar. (Attention: The fab ric has two sides: front and back. The back side is with hem facing downwards).
    Steps of Assembly

  9. Front bar wrist support assembly: Slide spirit level (j) and front bar wrist support (X) into big trough of front bar, put both left and right plastic cover (f) to each end of the bar, then fix the screw(e) to the plastic cover(f).
    Steps of Assembly

  10. Left roller support with gear box assembly: Hammer left roller support with gear box into torsion bar with gentle strength. Tighten screws with screwdriver.
    Steps of Assembly

  11. Assembly of whole awning: Insert square shaft (F-1) in roller with fabric into square hole of gear box, then knock round shaft cover (E-2) into right roller support (E-1) and link it with round shaft of right side using hammer, tighten screw on it using screwdriver.
    Steps of Assembly

  12. Setting position of whole awning: Make sure two arms are tied tightly to torsion bar, move front bar wrist support (Q-1) until it connects with front bar wrist. Align the front bar and roller, tighten bolt (Q-2) of two front bar wrist support upwardly by screwdriver. Then fasten self locking nut MlO (a) with bolts up to 95% tight using ribbon tube spanner. Lastly, setting spirit level (P) in center of two arms, fasten it when awning is opened.

Installation Procedure

  1. Measure the distance along the wall where it can be placed. Drill holes for wall brackets on the wall according to the installation distances and height of the wall brackets. The diameter and depth of hole must be the same as expansion bolts.
    Installation Procedure
The holes of each group must be on the same line in transversal direction and vertical direction.
(Note: It is recommended to draw lines on the wall first to ensure precise position and size of the holes)

  2. Hammer all the expansion bolts into the holes.
Then take down the nuts and washer.
    Note:

  3. The expansion bolts must be hammered into the wall completely.

  4. The bolts must be stick out of the wall so that the wall brackets can be installed on it.

  5. The nut and washer might be separated from the bolt during process of transportation, please put them back into their original positions before hammer them into the wall.)

  6. Take down the original bolts of the wall brackets as shown in the figure, use expansion bolts to fix the wall brackets on the wall.
Do not tighten completely, leave wall brackets to stay on the wall with little movement.

Installation distance between wall brackets
** Awning< 3m| Only 2 wall brackets for each end of torsion bars
---|---
Awning 3.5m – 4.5m| 2 wall brackets at each end of torsion bar, a middle bracket in between distance of 2 arm shoulders (arm brackets refer to steps of assembly 6)
Awning> 5m| 2 wall brackets at each end of torsion bar, 2 middle brackets divide into equal length in between distance of 2 arm shoulders at each end of torsion bars. (steps of assembly 6)
4. As shown in the figure, we recommend making the awning surface to form an angle of about 80 degrees with the wall when it is open.
Installation Procedure
A) The height of front bar you desire
L) The length of the arm stretch out
C) The height of wall brackets
You can follow this formula:
C= A+ 0.17*L**

  1. Install the awning on the wall brackets according to “Installation distances between wall brackets” above, put the original bolts on the wall brackets and tighten them. Finally fasten all expansion bolts.
    Installation Procedure
CAUTION: PROPER LOCATION OF THE BRACKETS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF THE AWNING INSTALLATION. IT IS CRITICAL THAT YOU FASTEN ALL THE MOUNTING BRACKETS TO STUDS, JOISTS, HEADERS OR OTHER MAJOR STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS.
WARNING: FAILURE TO SECURELY FASTEN ALL THE BRACKETS TO THE WALL COULD RESULT IN THE COLLAPSE OF THE AWNING AND CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.

  2. Instruction for front side leveling
