Product Usage Instructions
- Locate the Installation
- Locate the installation area on the ceiling where you want to place the recessed downlight.
- Turn off the power supply to the area where you will be working.
- Remove the existing light fixture if present.

- Fixtures are suitable for use in clothes closets per NEC 410.16(C)(1).
- Fixtures are not suitable for installation into clothes closet storage spaces as defined by NEC 410.2.
Installation Steps
- Step 1
- Before ceiling installation, use the ring located above the lens to select the beam angle desired.
- step 2
- Use 1he tables shown in the illustration to adjust the Wattage/Lumen and CCT selector switches to achieve the desired light output and colour temperature.
- Step3
- Select and install the Reflector Kit chosen from sizes 4″, 6″ or 8″
- A. Align the notch of the Reflector Kit with the “unlock” position of the Light Engine
- B. Push the reflector kit down until bottomed out on the light engine
- C. Turn the Reflector Kit counterclockwise to align the notch into the locked position.
- Step 4
- For new construction applications, install a new construction plate in the ceiling first.
- If a new hole is needed, cut the hole according to the downlight cutout dimensions.
- Step 5
- For either new construction or retrofit installation, attach the carabiner safety lanyard to the existing fixture housing.
- Step 6
- Remove the faceplate of the existing or newly installed J-Box and punch out the appropriate knockout.
- Connect the supply wire conduit to the fixture input leads.
- Make wire connections using the appropriately sized wire nuts.
- Reattach the J-Box cover when connections are complete.
- Black ➔ Line (Hot)
- White ➔ Neutral
- Green ➔ Ground
- Purple ➔ 0-10V Dim(+)
- Gray or Pink ➔ 0-10V Dim(-)
- For 0-10V dimming only.
- Step 7
- Bend and hold the spring clips upward to a vertical position and insert the downlight into the hole or housing in the ceiling.

- After the downlight is inside the housing or ceiling, release the spring clips and push the fixture into the ceiling ensuring the fixture is securely seated and flush with the ceiling.
- NOTE: Rotating the fixture may be necessary to properly engage spring clips.
- Step 9
- Restore power at the source. Installation is now complete.
