BLUETOOTH

Bluetooth mode: use the MODE button to enable Bluetooth on the PBX-61081 BT. Open the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device and search forQFX PBX1081 BT Select the option to pair both devices. Now you can sit back and enjoy the music from your favorite app. You will not need to reconnect Bluetooth when changing modes.

FM RADIO:

Frequency-Modulated stations operate in a frequency band extending from 87.S MHz to 108 MHz. Use the MODE button to select the FM mode. In FM mode, press the Play/Pause button to scan available frequencies in the area

CHARGING THE SPEAKER

To protect the lifespan of the built-in battery, be sure to fully charge the PBX-214W before use. Not charging your unit right away can affect the performance of the battery. A full recharge takes approxiately 8-12 hours. Plug it in to use it while its charging.

CONTROL PANEL FUNCTIONS

  1. DISPLAY: Displays the current function of the unit.
  2. USB INPUT: Insert a USB with mp3 formatted music.
  3. SD/MMC CARD : Insert an SD/MMC Card with mp3 formatted music.
  4. GLOBAL CONTROLS:
  5. TWS/MODE : Press to change functions: BT/USB/SD/AUX/FM. In Bluetooth mode, press and hold for TWS sync.
  6. Previous: Press to change the audio track or FM Radio station
  7. Play/Pause : Press to play or pause the audio track. In FM mode press to begin auto scan.
  8. Next: Press to change the audio track or FM Radio station.
  9. Press and Hold in FM mode to begin auto scan.
  10. REC/MIC.PRI : Press the MIC.PRIORTY button to prioritize the microphone over the music. Pres and hold to begin recording (Microphone) to the USB/SD Card.
  11. Master Volume Control: Adjusts the overall volume level of the master audio signal.
  12. Treble Control: This controls the overall treble level of the master audio signal.
  13. Bass Control: This controls the overall bass level of the master audio signal.
  14. MICROPHONE:
  15. ECHO: This controls the amount of echo effect produced by the speaker
  16. VOL: Use this to adjust the Microphone input volume.
  17. BASS: This controls the overall bass level of the master audio signal.
  18. TREBLE: This controls the overall treble level of the master audio signal.
  19. DELAY: Add delay to the mic signal.
  20. GUITAR VOL : Use this to adjust the guitar input volume

  24. MIC-2 Connect a guitar or microphone cable for use (¼”/TRS).
  25. AUX MODE: Switch between TABLET or LINE-IN. Choose and set the switch to the function in use.
  26. LINE IN/OUT : In AUX mode, toggle the switch to LINE IN, then connect an external audio signal wit RCA cables. Use the LINE OUT to feed another audio device.
  27. EXTERNAL DC 12V6A INPUT : Connect and external 12V6A power supply (alternative recharging solution).

  32. HDMI OUT: Use to connect to an external video monitor.
  33. TABLET: Turn ON/OFF the tablet for use.
  34. MASTER POWER: Power ON/OFF by choosing either mobile battery (Portable) mode or external AC wall outlet power mode. The unit will charge on any position including the OFF position.
  35. LIGHT POWER: Use to turn ON/OFF the LED Party Lights.
  36. AC POWER: 110-240V, 50/60Hz

SETUP

  1. Ensure that the unit is connected to the appropriate power source using the provided AC power cable.
  2. Plug in the power cable and choose your input method using the MODE button on the unit or remote.
  3. Ensure that the master volume is turned to the ZERO position before connecting any audio source.
  4. Place the speaker in a location that is away from any direct heat source, moisture, or extreme humidity.

PLAYBACK:

Use the Mode select button to choose between Bluetooth, FM, LINE, USB/SD, AUX, or Wireless Streaming

  1. Using a storage device: The player can accept thumb drives and storage devices in USB 2.0 or
    less format. Files can be played back formatted as MP3 only. The USB connection can read devices up to 128 GB.

  2. Using Wireless Streaming: Ensure that your audio source has Wireless Streaming enabled/discoverable, next turn your speaker on and select Wireless Streaming mode. Search for available Wireless Streaming devices on your source unit and select BL name. Once connected you can play audio from your device when the unit is in Wireless Streaming Mode.

  3. Using Microphones: Ensure that the Microphone volume is set to “O”. Connect your microphone to ¼”Jacks. Ensure that your microphone is turned on. Adjust the volume control to desired volume.

  4. Using FM: Press the Mode button till FM is selected. Once in FM mode press the Play/record button on the unit or remote and the FM tuner will begin programming all available stations. You can also manually input the desired radio station using the keypad on the remote control.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

  • Music files not read: Ensure that your music files are encoded as MP3 Audio Files.
  • No Sound: Please ensure that master volume gain is not at zero and the unit is ON.
  • Wireless Streaming not connecting : Ensure that the Wireless Streaming device you are connecting has Wireless Streaming ON and is discoverable.
  • No Power: Please ensure that your power connection is fully engaged and connected to a power source.
  • Sound is distorted: Please ensure that your source volume and input gains on the speaker are even and balanced. Also check that your connecting cables from source units are not damaged or broken.
  • No MIC Sound: Ensure that the MIC gain control is not set to zero and ensure that the microphone is turned ON. Check that the connects are properly connected.
  • Store and use in a dry environment away from direct heat sources and moisture.
  • Do not clean with solvents or detergents. Only use a mildly damp cloth to dust or clean. Use on a flat stable surface. This unit will vibrate when played at high volume and will shift position. Please use caution when placing this on any surface.
  • Maintain all gain controls at correct levels. Excessive gain controls coupled with high volume can damage the speaker drivers.

REMOTE&TWS

  1. POWER: Standby.
  2. MODE: Change functions: BT/AUX/USB/SD/FM
  3. NUMBER KEYS: 0-9 digital selection keys.
  4. MUTE: Mute playback.
  5. EQ: Select an EQ presets to shape your sound.
  6. SCAN: Press to select the USB or SD card.
  7. REPEAT: Repeat one or all audio files.
  8. CONTROLS: Use for volume control, track select, or to pause the music.

TWSCONNECTION

TWS Connection is only for two speakers of the same make and model.

  1. Turn ON the units and enable Bluetooth mode on both speakers. They should read BLUE.
  2. Press the TWS button for 3 seconds on one of the speakers to sync both units together.
  3. On your mobile device under the Bluetooth menu, search for QFX P8X-214W and connect.
  4. Open your favorite music app and enjoy True Wireless Stereo.
  5. To ExitTWS press and hold the TWS button.

  • Before returning your Product for service under this Warranty, please (i) read the instruction manual carefully and vistt our website at www.qfxusa.com for Product updates and extended support documentation (e.g., Common Troubleshooting Guides); (ii) if you are still having trouble with your Product, please contact the QFX customer Support Department.

  • Subject to the terms and conditions herein, QFX, Inc. (herein after called “QFX”) warrants to the original purchaser of the Product
    (“Customer”) that for the applicable Warranty Period listed below, the Product will be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal,
    non-rommercial use (“Defects”).

  • Warranty Period encompasses, as listed below, separate “Coverage Periodsu for Parts and Labor, each Coverage Period to begin from the original date of customer purchase. If Customer returns a defective Product (or any component thereof) during the applicable Warranty Period, QFX will, at its option, during the specified Coverage Periods for Parts and Labor (as applicable etther: (i) repair the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) or (ii) replace the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) wtth a new or refurbished Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof), in etther case free of charge to Customer for Parts and/or Labor (as applicable) during the specified Coverage Period only, and excluding applicable shipping charges (noted below), for which the Customer is responsible. The foregoing states the Customer’s exclusive remecly and QFX sole liability for breach of the limited warranty contained herein.

  • This warranty covers only nonnal use. This warranty is not transferable. QFX is not responsible for warranty replacement should the QFX label or logo be removed or should the product fail to be properly maintained or fail to function properly as a result of misuse, abuse, immersion in liquids, improper installation, improper shipping, damage caused by disasters such as fire, flood, or service other than by QFX. In addition, this warranty excludes any Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) that has been subject to or Defects resulting from: (a) any neglect or misuse by a Customer, an accident, improper application, violation of operating instructions for the Product, any other Customer-induced damage, or the alteration or removal of any Product serial number; (b) any modification or repair to Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) by any party other than QFX or a party authorized in writing by QFX; (c) any damage to Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) due to power surges, incorrect electrical voltage, misconnection to any device, or malfunction of any device used with the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof); (d) cosmetic damage to the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) caused by normal wear and tear; (e) shipping damage that occurs while the Product is in transtt; (f) damage caused by heat sources, sunlight, electromagnetic conditions, or other climatic conditions or (g) any acts of God.

  • Product is sold to Customer for personal, non-commercial use only. Product is not warranted for Customer’s commercial or rental use. In addition, Product is not warranted against failure, and should not be used by Customer for any application where (i) there is a risk that any data stored on Product will be breached or otherwise compromised, or (ii) the date stored on Product is relied upon for medical or lifesaving applications. QFX disclaims any Warranty for any of the foregoing uses to the fullest extent permttted by law. Customer assumes any and all risks associated with such uses of Product, and agrees to indemnify QFX for any damages claimed against QFX for such uses.

  • EXCEPT FOR EXPRESS WARRANTIES STATED ABOVE AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMlffiD BY LAW, THE PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED ”f,S IS” AND QFX DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY (i) OF MERCHANTABIUlY, (ii) OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR (iii) OF NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS.   • This Warranty gives customer specific rights, and Customer may also have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Warning: Some Products may contain components that are small enough to be swallowed. Please keep out of reach of children. In order for the return to be processed, you must send the Product PREPAID to the address below in the original packaging or reasonable substitute to prevent damage and include: (1) a dated sales receipt (which must have a purchase date that falls in the Warranty Period specified in the table below) that indicates the place of purchase, model number of Product, and amount paid, (2) a detailed description of customer’s problem wtth Product, (3) Customer’s full name, phone number, and return address, (3) all of the accessories that came wtth the Product package must be sent along wtth the main Product, (4) a cashier’s check or money order payable to QFX, Inc., in the amount specified for the item in the product table below for return shipping and handling. No returned Product will be shipped back to a PO BOX.
