PBX-153SM BATTERY
The PBX-153SM is a lithium battery powered PA loudspeaker.
Be sure that you have completely charged the battery prior to first use to maximize the battery’s lifespan. Once the power cord is connected to a power source, it will automatically begin charging ( 2~3 hours to fully charge the lithium battery ). Even if the battery power is low, it will power on when connected to a power source. Upon completion of the charging, please disconnect the power cable. With standard usage, a fully charged battery can play for about 2 hours. Battery can be recharged about 300 times in its lifetime. When not in use, the speaker should always be set OFF to prevent the unit from draining the battery. When the unit is not used for prolonged periods of time, the battery will gradually lose its power. It is recommended to fully charge the battery at least every 60 days.
PBX-153SM BLUETOOTH
Bluetooth Mode: Find the Bluetooth name of the unit called
“QFX PBX-153SM” on your mobile device to connect. After a successful connection, you can play the music from speaker. You won’t need reconnect the Bluetooth when switching mode.

PBX-153SM DISPLAY SYSTEM SETTINGS
- Mode: The LED display screen will display the information mode for its functions USB/TF/BT AUX /FM. When a USB Flash Drive/TF Card is inserted into the USB/TF input, the unit will automatically switch to USB/TF mode and begin playing Mp3 audio files from the USB Flash Drive/TF Card.
- Track Number: The track number currently playing from the USB/TF will display.
- FM Mode: All FM channels display here. Press TWS button for auto scan all channels

- STANDBY: Make the unit to be standby mode.
- MODE BUTTON: Toggle between USB, TF, FM, AUX,BT

PBX-153SM TWS CONNECTION
- TWS CONNECTION: TWS Connection is only for two of the same model speakers. It cannot support more than 2 units.
- Turn on the Speakers, press the MODE button to switch to BLUETOOTH mode, and the word “BLUE” on the LED screen will flash.\
- Press and hold Play/Pause (TWS) button on one of units for 3 seconds. Then two speakers of the same make and modle will connect together. You will hear a sound.
- Open your mobile device’ Bluetooth settings, search and connect the mobile device to QFX PBX-153SM’.
- Select music from your mobile device and enjoy True Wireless Stereo.
- Exit TWS: Press and hold the Play/Pause (TWS) button for 3 seconds to exit the TWS function.
SPEAKER STAND
- Take out main metal tube, tripod, and the fastener.
- Install the main fastener on the tripod and fasten the screw.
- Insert the metal tube into the tripod. Fasten securely with the metal peg.

Is this loud enough? How far away is this sound audible?****
This device is a REAL RMS, 45–50 watt amplifier. This is the woofer’s power; it has a strong kick and base. A large room can be managed by two of them.
Can I use it with an iPhone?****
yes. Any device that supports Bluetooth streaming (SENDING) can be connected to it.
Can you turn off the lights?****
Yes, the lights can be turned off.
Can a guitar be connected to this speaker?****
Sadly, not unless it has Bluetooth or an auxiliary connector for connection.
How many watts does it have, how long can it run before needing to be recharged, and is it louder than the QFX PBX 61162?****
Each one is roughly 45–50 actual watts. When the device is turned off while charging, it takes less than 4 hours to fully charge the battery. 150 minutes of continuous work at maximum volume for 210 minutes of back-to-back mid- volume listening.
Can I connect two if I purchase two?****
Yes. This device has TWS capability. As a result, you can wirelessly and Bluetooth couple or connect another PBX-153 or PBX-153SM to this one.
Does the speaker have a bag?****
The speaker is not packaged with a care bag; instead, it is protected while shipping in a plastic bag.
How much battery charge is required for the sound to continue playing?****
3 hours
How long does it take for a QFX speaker to charge?****
The power adaptor will automatically start charging after being attached to a power source (5–6 hours to fully charge the lithium battery).
Can you overcharge your speaker?****
Yes, overcharging your speakers will result in permanent harm to the rechargeable batteries.
Do speakers ever wear out?****
Mechanical deterioration causes loudspeakers to eventually fail, especially in the surround/suspension that joins the cone/diaphragm to the basket/housing.
Is it OK to charge a speaker overnight?****
It is entirely fine to leave your Bluetooth speaker charging overnight if you are using one with a built-in battery.
