Thank you for purchasing EVVR Center Lite, a smart home controller. To use your controller safely and effectively, read this User Manual thoroughly before use and follow the instructions provided. Please keep this User Manual for future reference.

2. Safety Instructions

Warning: These safety instructions provide important safety information and should always be observed. Please read them before using the product.

General Safety
  • This product is designed to be used in dry indoor places. It is not waterproof and must be kept away from rain or water.

  • Install the adapter near the controller and ensure it is easily accessible.

  • Do not use the controller if it is damaged or shows any kind of visible damage.

  • Do not handle the controller or its components with wet hands.

  • Do not dismantle the controller.

  • The AC adapter may become hot while in use or just after use.
    Handle it carefully.

  • Always use genuine parts and accessories provided with the product. Using third-party parts or accessories may cause short circuits, overheating, electric shock, or fire.

Location
  • Place the controller on a flat surface.
  • Do not expose the controller to direct sunlight or moisture.
  • Keep the controller away from heat sources, such as stovetops or ovens.
  • Do not subject the controller to extreme temperatures.
  • Do not subject the controller to a strong impact or vibration.
  • Keep the controller away from flammable atmospheres, such as areas where petrol or flammable liquids are stored.
Cleaning and Maintenance

It is recommended that you clean the controller by wiping it gently using a soft and dry cloth. Do not clean it with water, chemical substances, or detergents. Doing so may cause discoloration or corrosion to the controller’s exterior and may lead to fire or electric shock.

Do not attempt to repair the controller or its accessories by yourself, which may cause product damage or personal injury. Damage caused by unauthorized repair is not under the warranty. Please contact our Authorized Service Center for any possible problems concerned with the product.

Warning: No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

3. About EVVR Center Lite
Overview

EVVR Center Lite is a smart home controller that can manage various smart devices from different brands. It supports ZigBee, Sub-1 GHz Proprietary Protocol, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth devices and other devices that have compatible plugins installed.

  • High compatibility

Compatible with Zigbee 3.0, Sub-1 GHz Proprietary Protocol, WiFi, and Bluetooth. EVVR Center Lite integrates Zigbee 3.0 and Sub-1 GHz Proprietary Protocol devices and is designed to be compatible with Matter in the future, ensuring a future-proof experience.

  • Local data storage

EVVR offers enterprise-class data encryption using a peer-to-peer network connection that processes and stores your data in real-time locally. EVVR does not store your data in the cloud or get access to your connection, ensuring greater privacy and smart home security.

  • Star network, central control

In an existing network of a commercial or large space, you can add multiple EVVR controllers as connection bridges to form a star network in which one controller implements centralized control. This extends the range of smart home control and allows you to control devices from anywhere with exclusive flexibility and stability.

  • Ease of use

The controller can be accessed via a mobile App or web console. On EVVR App, you can configure automation for complete integration of smart home accessories, easily add devices with Zigbee 3.0, Sub-1 GHz Proprietary Protocol, Wi-Fi, and assign them to individual rooms for management. EVVR Console is a powerful web application that includes all the features of EVVR App. Its interface features an advanced, forward-thinking workflow design for a seamless user experience.

  • Extended development capabilities

EVVR offers developers additional development kits, including Controller SDK and App SDK, to enable them to create additional functionalities and enhance compatibility with smart home hubs.

  1. LED Indicator

The LED displays the status of the controller and connected devices:

Solid white The controller is booting up.
Solid green
  • The controller is powered on. 
  • The controller works normally.

Flashing green| The controller is discovering smart devices.
Solid yellow| The controller is disconnected from Internet.
Fast flashing red| A smart device has reached an emergency level.
Flashing blue 5 times| The controller is responding to an identification request.

5. Before Use
Assemble the Power Adapter

Before use, connect the AC adapter and the plug.

» Properly align the key on the plug with the slot on the adapter. Then finger-tighten the plug and adapter to secure the connection.

Connect External Power Supply

Warning: Only use the adapter and its accessory provided.

» Plug in the adapter to an outlet and insert the power connector to the back of the controller.

6. Getting Started
Download EVVR App

Search “EVVR” in Apple App Store or Google Play and download the latest version of the EVVR App.

Note: The EVVR App supports iOS 13.1+ or Android OS 8.0+

Create Account/Login (Optional)

Create an account as instructed. If you already have an account, log in directly.

Connect to Network

EVVR Center Lite can connect to the network via a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or an active Ethernet cable.

Note: EVVR Center Lite can work without an Internet connection if a local area network (LAN) exists. However, the Internet is necessary for using the App to control your devices remotely.

  • a) Wi-Fi Connection
    Follow the instructions in EVVR App to complete the connection.

  • b) Ethernet Cable Network Connection
    Insert an active Ethernet Cable into the Ethernet port of the controller.

Pair EVVR Center Lite

Follow the instructions in EVVR App to pair EVVR Center Lite.

Note: The person who pairs the controller first is assigned the controller owner. Other users can pair the controller only if they are invited by the owner. The owner can assign different roles to users. In local use, all users are owners.

7. Basic Operations
Boot the Controller

The controller is about to work when its adapter is plugged into the outlet.

Restore to Factory Settings

Warning: All user data will be cleared if the controller is restored to factory settings.

Unplug the DC end of the adapter from the controller, and then re-plug the DC end into the controller while keep pressing the Reset Button using a paperclip or similar tools until the LED glows white.
