Intended Use
The Steam Iron IRON1000 is intended for ironing various fabrics to remove wrinkles and creases effectively. -

Before First Use
- Remove all packaging materials and stickers from the product.
- Fill the water reservoir with distilled water following the provided instructions.
Connecting the Product
- Place the product on a stable surface.

- Allow the product to heat up initially; some smoke emission is normal.
After Use
- Adjust the thermostat dial to the minimum position.
- Place the iron on the back cover.
- Unplug the power cable from the outlet.

Intended use
- This product is a steam iron that can be used on a wide range of fabrics.
- This product is intended to remove creases and wrinkles out of fabric.
- This product is intended for indoor use only.
- Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.
- This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
- The product is intended for use in household environments for typical housekeeping functions that may also be used by non-expert users for typical housekeeping functions, such as: shops, offices other similar working environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments and/or in bed and breakfast type environments.

WARNING

- Only use the product as described in this document.
- Do not open the product, there are no user serviceable parts inside.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
- Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
- This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Keep the product out of reach for children under 8 years of age when the product is switched on or cooling down.
- Do not leave the product unattended when connected to the power source.
- Place the product on a stable, flat and heat resistant surface.
- Do not use the product when it is visibly damaged or when it is leaking.
- Disconnect the product from the power source and allow the product to cool down before filling the water reservoir.
- Do not open the water reservoir during use.
- Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids.
- Always check that the voltage of the product corresponds to the mains voltage.
- Do not disconnect the product by pulling on the cable. Always grasp the connector and pull.
- Do not pull the power cable to move the product.
- Do not pull the power cable over sharp edges.
- Do not use chemically descaled water to fill the product.
- Avoid contact of the ironing plate with metal objects. The ironing plate can damage.
- Do not touch the ironing plate when using the product. The ironing plate is hot.
- Do not direct steam towards people or other living objects. The ejected steam is hot.
Before first use
Remove all packaging material, protective stickers and covers from the
product.
Fill the water reservoir (image B)
Use distilled water.
- Fill the measuring cup A14 with water.
- Remove the water reservoir cover A5.
- Empty the measuring cup A14 into the water reservoir A6.
- Place back the water reservoir cover A5.
Connecting the product
- Place the product on the back cover A11.
- Plug the power cable A1 into a power outlet.
- When the product heats up for the first time, the product may emit some smoke. This is normal and does not affect the safety of the product.
Selecting the correct setting for your fabric
Using dry ironing

Set the steam selector A4 to 0.

Set the thermostat dial A13 to the correct setting for your fabric
Wait until the LED indicator A12 switches off to indicate the product is heated up. -
Start dry ironing your fabric.
Using steam ironing
-
Set the thermostat dial A13 to the MAX position.
Wait until the LED indicator A12 switches off to indicate the product is heated up. -
Set the steam selector A4 to the desired steam output.

Start steam ironing your fabric.
Do not use steam ironing on synthetic fabric, nylon, or (synthetic) silk. Steam ironing these fabrics can damage the fabric.
Spraying a burst of steam
- Set the thermostat dial A13 to the MAX position.
- Press the burst button A2 to spray a burst of steam.
- Wait at least 5 seconds between bursts of steam.
- Do not use the steam burst button for more than 5 consecutive seconds.
- Hold the product vertical and use bursts of steam to remove creases from hanging fabric.
Spraying a spray of steam
Press the spray button A3 to spray steam.
After use
- Set the thermostat dial A13 to the minimum position.
- Place the product on the back cover A11.
- Unplug the power cable A1 from the power outlet.
Troubleshooting

The product has not fully heated up yet.| Wait until the LED indicator A12

The amount of water exceeds the MAX indicator of the water reservoir A
6.| Pour out the excess water from the water reservoir A 6.
The product doesn’t produce enough steam.| Set the steam selector A 4
to 0.| Set the steam selector A 4 to the desired steam output.
The steam holes A 9 are blocked.| Clean the steam holes A 9
with distilled water.
The water reservoir A 6 is empty.| Fill the water reservoir A
6 with distilled water.
The spray nozzle A 7** doesn’t spray.| There is not enough pressure or
air inside of the product.|
- Push the spray nozzle A 7 by hand.
- Push the spray button A 3 multiple times.
Maintenance
- Disconnect the product before cleaning.
- Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the product and disconnect the power. Let the product cool down completely.
- Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
- Do not clean the inside of the product.
- Disconnect the product from the power source before service and when replacing parts
- Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
- Clean the ironing plate A8 with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner.
- Clean the ironing plate A8 with a damp cloth with vinegar if fiber is stuck to the ironing plate A8.
- Remove any limescale from the steam holes A9 with a toothpick.
- Empty the water reservoir A6.
Disposal
- The product is designated for separate collection at an appropriate collection point. Do not dispose of the product with household waste.
- For more information, contact the retailer or the local authority responsible for the waste management.
