Product Usage Instructions

Inserting or Changing Memory Card
A microSD card (not included) with a maximum capacity of 64 GB is required. Format the card before use to remove all files. Insert the microSD card into the designated slot.

Charging the Battery
Charge the camera using the supplied USB-C cable. It takes about  3 hours to fully charge the battery. The camera can be charged while recording video.

Attaching the Product to Accessories
Insert the product into the waterproof housing for waterproofing. Attach mounting accessories securely to clothing or gear. Ensure the camera does not hinder your movement or operation.

Switching On the Product
Hold the power button for about 3 seconds until the status indicator LED lights up blue. The camera will enter video mode after displaying a welcome screen.

Switching Between Modes
Press the power/mode button to switch between different modes of the product, such as video mode, picture mode, slow motion mode, playback mode, and setup mode.

Recording and Viewing Content
In video mode, use the OK button to start or stop video recording. In picture mode, use the OK button to take a picture. In playback mode, navigate through content using the buttons provided.

Transferring Files
Connect the product to your device using the USB-C cable to transfer files. Alternatively, remove the microSD card and use a card reader. To transfer wirelessly, follow the steps outlined in the manual.

  • This product is a small and lightweight action camera that captures 4K Ultra HD images and video.
  • Connect the product to the N-go 4K app to manage your photos, videos, and settings.
  • This product is intended for indoor and outdoor use.
  • This product is intended as a recording device.
  • Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty, and proper functioning.
  • This product can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

Safety instructions

WARNING

  • Only use the product as described in this manual.
  • Do not open the product, there are no user-serviceable parts inside.
  • Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
  • Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
  • Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
  • Do not dismantle, open or shred batteries.
  • Do not expose batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
  • In the event of a cell leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
  • Properly dispose of the empty battery.
  • Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or a battery has been swallowed.
  • Battery usage by children should be supervised.
  • Only purchase the appropriate replacement battery from the Nedis website.
  • Observe the charging terminals on the battery and the product and ensure correct use.

Insert or change memory card (image B)
A microSD card (not included) is required to store pictures or videos. Insert the microSD card
into the microSD card slot A 13.

  • Use a microSD card with a maximum of 64 GB storage capacity.
  • Format the microSD card before use.
  • Formatting the microSD card will remove all files from the microSD card. Make sure to back up all files you want to keep before formatting the microSD card.

Charging the battery (image C)

  • Charge the camera from any USB outlet with the supplied USB-C cable. The camera can be charged while recording video. Fully charging the battery takes about 3 hours.nedis-ACAM51BK-Action-Camera-fig-6

Attaching the product to the accessories
Insert the product into the waterproof housing.

  • The product is not waterproof without the waterproof housing.
    The waterproof housing Ai can be fitted with the supplied mounting accessories to your clothing, action gear, helmet, etc.

  • Make sure the attachment is secure.

  • Make sure the camera does not impede your movement, view, or operation of your action gear.

Switching on the product
Hold the power button A1 for about 3 seconds until the status indicator LED A6 lights up blue. A welcome screen appears, and the camera enters video mode.

Switching between the modes
Press the power / mode button A1 to switch between the modes of the product.

Record pictures and video images

  • In video mode, press the OK button A2 to start or stop recording a video.
  • In picture mode, press the OK button A2 to take a picture.

View pictures and video images

  • In playback mode, press the up button A9 or down button Aq to go to the next or
  • previous picture or video.
  • Press the OK button A9 to play and stop videos.

Settings menu navigation
Press the OK button A2 in the setup mode to enter the settings menu.

In the settings menu:

  • Press the power/mode button A1 to select the mode tab.
  • Press the up button A9 and the down button Aq to navigate between the options.
  • Press the OK button A2 to select and confirm the desired option.

Transfer files to an external device

  • Connect the product to your device with the USB-C cable Aa. Transfer the files you want to save to your device.
  • Alternatively, remove the microSD card from the microSD card slot Ar and insert the microSD card into a card reader that is connected to your device.

Use with N-Go 4K App

Use the N-Go 4K App on your mobile device to review images and videos, transfer them to your mobile device, take pictures, record video, toggle picture and video modes and change settings.

INFO: The app works best with iPhone or Android version 8.0 and up. For more information about how the app works, consult the extended manual online.

  • Switch on the product.
  • Press and hold the up button A9 for 3 seconds to activate Wi-Fi.
  • Install and open the N-go 4K App. Select Wi-Fi network N-Go 4K. Enter password 12345678 to connect.

Alternatively:

  • Switch on the product.
  • Press the power/mode button A1 to switch between the modes of the product.
  • Press the OK button A2 in the setup mode to enter the settings menu.
  • Press the power/mode button A1 to select Wi-Fi mode.
  • Press the OK button A2 to activate Wi-Fi on the product.
  • Install and open the N-go 4K App. Select Wi-Fi network N-Go 4K. Enter password 12345678 to connect.

Once the connection is established, you see the live view of the camera. You can now control the camera with the app.

INFO: Wi-Fi has to be switched on to use the product with the N-go 4K app.

  • Tap the record button in the bottom to start or stop recording a video.
  • Tap the camera button to take a picture.
  • Tap the slow-motion button to record a slow-motion video.
  • Tap the media gallery button in the bottom left to review, delete, or download pictures and videos to your mobile device.
  • Tap the settings icon in the bottom right to enter the setup menu

View pictures and video images on external device
To view the pictures and video images on a TV or monitor without transferring any files:

  1. Plug an HDMI cable into the Micro HDMI port At.14
  2. The HDMI cable is not included.
  3. Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into the external device.

Switching off the product

  • Hold the power / mode button A1 for 3 seconds to switch off the product.
  • When possible, remove the battery from the product when not in use.

Replacing the battery (image D)

  1. Open the battery cover A8.
  2. Remove the empty or damaged battery.
  3. Place the new battery in the battery compartment.
  4. Only purchase the appropriate replacement battery from the Nedis website.
  5. Close the battery cover A8

Disposal

  • The product is designated for separate collection at an appropriate collection point.
  • Do not dispose of the product with household waste.
  • For more information, contact the retailer or the local authority responsible for the waste management.

The approximate recording time is an indication of how much video length can be saved on the microSD card, depending on the video quality.
The maximum video length cannot be recorded on a single battery charge
