- Installation of this device may only be carried out by specialist staff who have provided proof of their skills.
- The power supply must be switched off before handling the device.
- Installation/removal only when isolated from power supply.
- Connecting terminal may only be attached/removed when isolated from the power supply.
- The relevant safety and accident prevention regulations must be observed.
- Do not remove protective devices.
- Specialist personnel must ensure that the device is permanently connected to an earth conductor.

INSTALLATION
Devices that can be replaced:
LM-XPO (art. no. 22 154 405)
LM-CPO (art. no. 22 154 195)

LM-MPA (art. no. 22 146 166)
Removing the old touch panel (A):
- Carefully pull out the touch panel at the top edge against the spring.
Removing the old touch panel (B):
Pull out the mains (230 V AC) and LM-Bus plug-in terminals.
Installation box for the touch panel:
MKXP (art. no. 22 154 482)
Note: the installation box is intended for further use and must not be
removed.
Removing the old touch panel (C):
Loosen the two screws.
Remove the LM-xPx bracket.
Removing the old touch panel (D):
Remove the LM-xPx plug-in terminals.
Remove the core end ferrules from the LM-Bus conductors, if necessary.
Installing the new touch panel (A):
Scope of delivery:
– Touch panel including bracket set.
Installing the new touch panel (B):
- Connect the mains lines to the terminal block of the bracket set. Follow the correct designations on the terminal block (L, N, PE).
- Connect the LM-Bus to the terminals after the ferrite ring.
- Re-attach the contact safety guard (plastic clip).

Installing the new touch panel (C):
Secure the bracket set to the MKXP.
Installing the new touch panel (D):
Connect the earthing cable of the touch panel to the bracket set.
Installing the new touch panel (E):
Connect the LM-SI03D-USB to the touch panel using the USB connection cable
supplied.
Connect the supply plug (red–black line) to the touch panel.
Installing the new touch panel (F):
Mount the touch panel to the front and press lightly until the touch panel
clicks into place.
Note: the touch panel can be loosened from the bracket without tools by
pulling on the frame.
