SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Ultraviolet (UV) rays are an invisible part of sunlight. Prolonged exposure to UV rays can cause fibers to fade and degrade. This gazebo will last longer if you limit its exposure to UV rays. Pitch the gazebo in shade when possible and don’t leave the gazebo up longer than necessary.
- Take down the gazebo when not in use to avoid unnecessary fading from outdoor elements. Fading or discoloring of fabric is not covered under your warranty.
- Take down the gazebo when not in use to avoid unnecessary damage.
- Use extra tie-down ropes during excessive winds.
- Never put the gazebo away wet. Always put away dry and clean to avoid mildew and other problems.
LONG TERM STORAGE
- Make sure your gazebo is completely dry and clean before storing for long periods of time.
- Store your gazebo in a cool, dry place away from rodents.
SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove the gazebo from the carrying bag. Stand gazebo up with the hub on the ground. Remove the packing strap from around the top of the gazebo. [ SEE FIGURE 1 ]
- Release the gazebo until it is unfolded and the roof is exposed. DO NOT pop roof up yet. [ SEE FIGURE 2 ]
- NOTE: When unfolding, check that the wind panels are visible and locate the webbing loops located in center of wall panel. This is the OUTSIDE portion of the shelter.
- Find the webbing loop handle located on the exterior of each hub, centered on each wall (and roof). Proceed to pull outward until the wall pops open. Do this to all SIDE WALLS first. [ SEE FIGURE 3 ]
- NOTE: For added assistance, grasp the top seam of the panel and place your foot on the bottom edge when popping open a side wall panel to help hold the gazebo in place.
- NOTE: At this time, the rain fly can be attached. See ATTACHING THE RAIN FLY for further instruction.
- NOTE: The gazebo is usable with or without the rain fly installed but will not protect from the rain/elements without.
- Once all walls are popped open, locate the zipper door, and enter the gazebo. Proceed to push up on the hub OR roof poles until it pops over center. [ SEE FIGURE 4 ]
- NOTE: This step should be done with caution as there is tension on the roof hub and pole assemblies.
- Locate the two long corded poles in the duffle bag. Assemble the pole by interlocking the poles together. Go back inside the gazebo and locate the small pockets on the top and bottom of the vertical seams next to the door. Insert each pole into the top and bottom pockets. Then secure with the hook/loop strap in the center of the vertical seam. Do this on both sides of the door. [ SEE FIGURE 5 ]
- Locate the short corded pole in the duffle bag. Assemble the pole by interlocking the poles together. Go back inside the gazebo and locate the two pockets on either side above the door. Insert each end into the pockets and secure with hook/loop strap centered above the door. [ SEE FIGURE 6 ]
- Locate the ground stakes and ropes in the duffle bag and fasten the stakes through the grommets located at each outer corner. Hammer stakes through each grommet completely.
- Tie an ORANGE tie-down rope to each eye-bolt, centered on each hub. Then tie the other end to a ground stake. Use the slider on the rope to achieve proper tension. [ SEE FIGURE 7 ]
ATTACHING THE RAIN FLY
- The gazebo must be free standing with all five (5) walls popped out and the ROOF COLLAPSED. [ SEE FIGURE 8 ]
- NOTE: It’s important that the roof is collapsed to prevent bending of pole ends.
- Slide the rain fly loosely over the gazebo roof. The short connecting poles should be on the underside of the rain fly.
- Starting at one corner, insert the male end of the short poles attached to the rain fly into the female end of the roof pole on each gazebo corner. Repeat this for all six corners. [ SEE FIGURE 9 ]
- Enter the gazebo and push up to pop up the roof panel.
- NOTE: This step should be done with caution as there is tension on the roof hub and pole assemblies.
REMOVING THE RAIN FLY — MUST FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS TO PREVENT POLE ENDS BENDING!
- From inside the gazebo, gently pull the roof poles/hub down to collapse the roof. DO NOT stand directly underneath the hub when collapsing.
- One at a time, pull the rain fly poles straight out of the roof pole sockets.
- Slide the rain fly off the gazebo.
- Fold the rain fly and store in the duffle bag.
NOTE: Make sure the rain fly is clean and dry before folding and storing.
TAKE DOWN INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove all stakes and tie-down ropes.
- If the rain fly is attached see REMOVING THE RAIN FLY.
- Remove the corded poles from each side and above the door and disengage – 3 poles total.
- Unroll all wind panels, if rolled up. This is more compact and packs more easily. Zip shut all wind panels and pull webbing loop handles through center grommet.
- Secure plastic hook at bottom of wind panel window to eyelet bolt on each hub. [ SEE FIGURE 10 ]
- From the inside the gazebo, gently pull the roof poles/hub down to collapse the roof. DO NOT stand directly underneath the hub when collapsing. [ SEE FIGURE 11 ]
- NOTE: Always start the take-down process by collapsing the roof first.
- From the outside, zip the door shut to prevent tangling of poles. Push the pole/wall near the center hub to collapse each wall.
- Do this to all of the walls. [ SEE FIGURE 12 ]
- Once all hubs are collapsed, gather all corners of the gazebo and fold together into a tight cone shape. Do not force the gazebo when folding and watch for entanglement of poles.
- Take the provided strap and wrap it around the folded gazebo to allow for easier insertion into the duffle bag. Place the folded gazebo back into the duffle bag with the hubs always towards the closed end of the bag. Place the stakes and tie-down ropes into the bag as well.
