BEFORE INSTALLATION

  • Professional Installation would be highly recommended, please seek assistance at local automotive shop if you have any difficulties in installing.
  • Safety comes first! Do not start to work on any vehicle without protection.
  • An assistant would be better assist you in the bumper disassembly work.
  • Keep cautions to prevent being scratched when working on any parts from the body of the vehicle.
  • Do not touch the bulbs or the wire assembly before they are cooled to avoid the burns.

INSTALLATION AND CARE

STEP 1

  1. Open the hood. Let’s start from the passenger side.

STEP 2

  1. Remove the plastic screw on the weather shield rivet using Philips head screwdriver.

  2. Pull off the rivet and keep weather shield away from headlamp.

STEP 3

  1. Remove (3) 10mm hex bolts, (1) on the top of headlamp and (2) on the inner side.
  2. Unclip the small tab on fender panel.
  3. Grab the corner of the headlamp on fender side and pull the headlamp off from the vehicle.

STEP4

  1. Disconnect wire harness and remove headlamp.
  2. Remove all light bulbs and sockets from the old headlamp.
    (Twist sockets counterclockwise, do not touch light bulbs with bare hand.)

STEP5

  1. lnstall all light bulbs and sockets to the new headlamp.

STEP6

  1. Connect headlight wire, signal parking light wire and side marker light wire to new headlamp.

STEP 7

  1. Align the clips with mounting holes on fender penal and push to guide new headlamp in place.
  2. Reinstall (3) 10mm hex bolts and secure weather shield.

STEP 8

  1. Repeat step 2 to 7 to install the driver side.

WARM TIPS

Before you begin to adjust the light, make sure check the alignment of your lights first. Park the vehicle about 10 to 25 feet from the wall with the lights aimed at the wall. The centerlines of the headlights should not be any higher than 3.5 feet above the ground.

  1. Find the adjustment screws.
  2. Adjust the headlights individually.
  3. Adjust the vertical field.
  4. Test your results.
