Before you begin: Ask a grown up to put the batteries in the battery compartment and test the lights.

Wrap the light string around your hand starting with the battery container. Attach the bundle with the clip.

Attach the end of the fairy light string to the bottom point of the moon shaped frame with a piece of adhesive tape. CAUTION : Be careful not

Hold the adhesive tape piece and wrap the light string evenly around the metal frame. It is important to keep tension on the cord throughout the project .

Attach the purple cord to the moon frame with a simple knot and leave 10 cm (4 in) of cord before the knot.

Cover the knot with craft glue to secure it.

Hold the knot in place and wrap the purple cord tightly until the frame is completely covered.
Tip: Make sure to leave small spaces around the light bulbs so the lights can shine through. -
Make two simple knots using the length of cord that was left in step 4 and the end of the cord. Pull firmly to secure it.

Cover the knots with craft glue to secure them and cut the excess of purple cord.

Attach the gold cord to the bottom point of the moon by making a double knot.
-
Cover the knot with craft glue to secure it.
-
Cover the other end of the cord with craft glue to prevent fraying.
-
Make the first loop at 3 cm (1 ¼ in) from the knot.
-
Pull gently on the cord to make sure the loop is tight. Tip: Hold the tension in the cord by positioning the clip right after the loop.
-
Continue to make loops around the frame until you have made 14 loops, making row 1. There should be 3 cm (1 ¼ in) distance between them.

Thread a gold bead (B).
-
Pass the cord around the interior side of the moon frame.
-
Thread the gold bead (B) a second time in the opposite direction.
-
Position the clip onto the gold cord right after the bead (B).
-
Make the first loop of row 2 around the section of cord between the two last loops of row 1.
-
Thread a faceted bead as shown.
-
Continue to make loops until you reach the section of cord between the first loop of row 1 and the double knot.
-
Repeat step 15-18 to secure row 2.

Make the loops of row 3 as shown and repeat steps 15-18 to secure the row.

Make the loops and thread the beads of row 4 as shown and repeat steps 15-18 to secure the row.

Make the loops of row 5 as shown and repeat steps 15-18 to secure the row.

Make the loops and thread the beads of row 6 as shown and repeat steps 15-18 to secure the row.

Make the loops of row 7 as shown and repeat steps 15-18 to secure the row.

Make the loops of row 8 and attach a bead (B) to the interior side of the frame between each loop.
-
Secure the gold cord by making two simple knots as shown.
-
Cover the knots with craft glue and cut off the excess cords after the knots.
-
Measure and cut 1 piece of 1 m (39 in) and 2 pieces of 75 cm (29 % in) of purple cord.
-
Fold the longest piece in half.
-
Pass the two ends of cord, going from front to back of the frame, on each side of an attached gold string.
-
Pull on the ends of the cord until it creates a loop.
-
Pass the ends of cord through the loop and pull on them until the loop is tight around the frame.
-
Repeat steps 33-35 with the two other purple cords.

Measure and cut 4 pieces of 1m (39 in) of pink ribbon, 4 pieces of1 m (39 in) of gold ribbon, 2 pieces of1 m (39 in) of light pink ribbon, 2 pieces of 1 m (39 in) of purple ribbon.

A. Attach the ribbons following the pattern shown on step 38E.
Pass one end of the ribbon over the frame. 38.B Join both ends of the ribbon together. 38C Thread a gold bead (B) onto both ends of the ribbon. Tip: Cover the ends of the ribbon with craft glue and cut it to make a pointy tip to ease the threading. 38.DPush the bead up the ribbon until it is against the frame of the moon. 38.E Repeat for all of the ribbons. -
Cut the ends of the ribbons and cords in a “V” shape.
The center cord should measure 43 cm (17 in). -
Measure and cut 3 pieces of 30 cm (11 3% in) of jelly cord.

Attach a piece of jelly cord to one of the loops that secures the 3 hanging purple cords.

Make a double knot and apply a drop of craft glue to secure it.
Cut off the excess lengths of cord before the knot. -
Thread the beads onto the cord as shown.

Make a double knot above the lasbead of the pattern. Pull firmly to make sure the knot is secured.
-
Apply a drop of craft glue on the knot and cut off the excess lengths of cord after the knot.
-
Repeat steps 41-45 to make the other 2 strings of beads.

Loosen the loops of the 3 purple hanging cords by pulling gently on the string of beads.
-
Pass the battery compartment through all of the loops of purple cords and pull again after to tighten them.
-
Measure and cut 50 cm (19 % in) of jelly cord.
-
Attach it at the top of the inner side of the moon with a double knot.
-
Apply a drop of craft glue to secure it and cut off the excess lengths of cord before the knot.
-
Thread the cord through the loop of the charm and center it between the top and bottom points of the moon.
-
Make a double knot right above the loop of the charm.
-
Secure the knot with a drop of craft glue and cut off the excess lengths of cord after the knot.
-
Use the remaining length of jelly cord to create a loop to hang the Lunar Dream Catcher with lights.

Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are
only to be charged under adult supervision. Rechargeable batteries are to be
removed from the toys before being charged. Different types of batteries or
new and used batteries are not to be mired. Batteries are to be inserted with
the correct polarity.
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. The supply terminals are
not to be short-circuited. Do not mir alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or
rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Battery not included.
