CREATE THE PENS

Follow the recipes to create three pen styles. The symbols indicate the amount of each material to add.

The clay slices and large flower sequins do not fit in the funnel. Place these directly into the tube. Use the funnel to add the rest of the materials.

FILL AND SEAL THE PENS

Place the funnel in the tube. Using a cup, carefully pour water into the tube up to the line.
Take the small white cap and push it firmly into the end of the tube.

Tip: The glitter will settle to the bottom of the pen when it’s not in use, but shaking your pen will get it back in motion.

ADD A FLOWER CHARM

Measure and cut 20 cm (7.75 in) of elastic cord.
Thread one round bead into the middle.
Fold the cord in half and thread both ends through the flower bead.
Thread both ends through 3 more round beads.
Leaving a 1 cm (0.5 in) gap, tie a double knot. Secure the knot with a drop of craft glue. Allow 5 minutes to dry, then cut off the excess lengths of cord.
Place the knot over the bottom of the tube and push the colored cap firmly over top.

ASSEMBLE THE PENS

Place the pen nib into the plastic tip.
Screw the plastic tip and pen nib onto the end of the pen, over the white cap.
Place the lid on the pen.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

It is not recommended to open your pen, but should the water become cloudy or discolored, you can empty the water and contents and use any leftover contents to refill it.

Unscrew the pen tip and pull out the white cap.
Using a small disposable cloth or paper towel to catch the contents, empty the contents over a sink or basin. Dispose ofthe contents according to local regulations.
Clean the pen tube with a small bottle brush (not included).
Get creative and use the leftover sequins and glitter to create a new floaty pen using the emptied tube.
