INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the AstroAl 160 PSI Twin Cylinder Air Compressor. This product includes two motors and two cylinders that provide fast inflation. The high-quality digital screen is designed to monitor air pressure while inflating. Once the preset air pressure is reached, the air compressor will automatically shut off. WARNING

• Please read the instructions carefully before use. Incorrect usage may damage the product.

  • The working current will increase with the inflation pressure. To protect the vehicle’ s fuse, please use the cigarette lighter or the battery clamp if the tire pressure is lower than 50 PSI, and use the battery clamp only if the tire pressure is higher than 50 PSI.
  •  Please practice electrical safety while using this product.
  • Do not use the product for unintended purposes.
  • Do not place the air compressor near any heat sources, such as vehicle exhaust pipes.
  • Do not use the product near any flammable liquids or gases.
  • Do not disassemble the air compressor.
  • Ensure the air compressor is intact before use, if it is damaged please do not use it.
  • Do not over-inflate tires. Excessive pressure may cause injury.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Keep the device away from fire, corrosive gases, liquids, and strong magnetic fields.
  • Check the preset pressure value before use. The preset pressure value should match the object to be inflated.
  • The air nozzle is compatible with all Schrader valves. For use with cars. motorcycles, bicycles, trucks, SUVs, vans, RVs, tow trucks, minivans, and more.
  • Do not store the air compressor in high temperatures or humid environments.
  • When not in use, disconnect the air compressor from all power sources.
  • During use, do not touch any part of the air compressor apart from the switch and handle. The air compressor gets hot during use and stays hot for some time after.
  • Please let the pump cool for at least 60 minutes after every 40 minutes of Use.
  • PSI, Bar, kPa, kg/cm? are the pressure units, not the pressure levels.
  • Please do not use this product in the rain or near any liquids.
  • Do not aim the nozzle at people or any part of a human body.
  • This product contains small accessories which are a choking hazard for children. Please keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not use this product with 24 V car power. Connect the air compressor to a 12 V 15 A DC cigarette lighter.
  • Do not drag the product by pulling the power cord or the air hose.
  • Do not use chemical cleaners to clean the air compressor. Only use mild soap and a cloth dipped in hot water to clean the plastic parts.

INSTRUCTIONS

Ensure that your car engine is running before you use the compressor. For inflating heavy-duty tires exceed 50 PSI, directly connect to the vehicle’s battery using the included clamps.

1. Firmly insert the compressor’s DC power cable into the car’s 12 V cigarette lighter socket. Press the “M” Button to turn on the product; when the screen lights up, the desired unit can be selected.
2. Press the “M” Button to choose the desired unit (4 options: PSI, Bar, kPa, kg/cm?).
3. Use the “+” and “-” buttons to set the desired pressure. Use the tire pressure guide on the inside of the driver’s door for guidance. Ensure the preset pressure is higher than the current pressure of your tire.
4. Remove the cap from the tire’s valve stem. Connect the quick connector to the tire’s valve stem. If you need to illuminate the surrounding area, press the LED button.
5. Press the Start Button, the air compressor will start working. (Note: DO NOT touch the air hose while the compressor is working.)
6. Press and hold the “M” Button for 3 seconds to turn off the air compressor after inflation.

ACCESSORY INSTRUCTIONS: BATTERY CLAMPS

1. Securely insert the 12 V power cord into the battery clamps.
2. Connect the black clamp to the negative terminal, and connect the red clamp to the positive terminal. Press the “M” Button to turn on the air compressor. When the screen lights up, users can set the desired unit.

ACCESSORY INSTRUCTIONS: COILED AIR HOSE

1. Securely connect the quick connector to the coiled air hose.
2. Remove the cap from the tire’s valve stem, and connect the air hose nozzle to the valve stem. (Tips: For better sealing when using the quick connector, align it to the valve stem, firmly press it in and flip the small lever.)

TROUBLESHOOTING

Air compressor will not inflate

• Ensure the in-line fuse is securely inserted correctly; replace the fuse if necessary.
• Check the vehicle cigarette lighter fuse, it should be rated at 15 A.
• Ensure there is a strong connection between the power cord plug and DC 12 V cigarette lighter.
• Ensure there is a strong connection between the battery clamps and 12 V cigarette lighter.
• The preset tire pressure is lower than the current tire pressure, increase the preset tire pressure to the manufacturer’s recommended level.

The air compressor is operating abnormally

• The connection between the air nozzle and the tire valve is not secure.
• Ensure there is a strong connection with the power cord and 12 V socket.
• The preset tire pressure is lower than the current tire pressure, increase the preset tire pressure to the manufacturer’s recommended level.
• The inflator may stop working after a long operation due to overheating protection. Please let it cool for 60 mins.

Air leaking through the hose
The connection between the air nozzle and the tire valve is not secure.

Slow inflation

• The connection between the air nozzle and the tire valve is not secure.
• Excessive use will slow the compressor’s inflation rate. Unplug the compressor and let it cool for 60 minutes.
