INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the AstroAI Portable Air Compressor. This product is a programmable tire inflator with an LCD screen that is designed to monitor air pressure while inflating. Its smart design allows for storing hoses and accessories within the product itself. Once the preset air pressure is reached, the Air Compressor will automatically shut off. WARNING

• Please read the instructions carefully before use. Incorrect usage may damage the product.
• Check the preset pressure value before use. The preset pressure value should match the object to be inflated.
• PSI, kPa and Bar are pressure units, not pressure levels.
• Please do not use this product in the rain or near any liquids.
• Keep out of reach of children, if there are children nearby please make sure they are properly supervised.
• Keep the device away from fire, corrosive gases, liquids and strong magnetic fields.
• Do not aim the nozzle at people or any part of a human body.
• Contains small accessories which are a choking hazard for children.
• Risk of electric shock, do not use this air compressor if it is damaged or if wires are exposed.
• Do not use 24 V car power outlets. Only use the pump with a 12 V 15 A DC cigarette lighter outlet. Use an AC-to-DC power converter if you want to use AC power.
• Avoid extended and continuous use. The ideal time for continuous use is 20 minutes.
• After extended use, let the pump rest for at least 10 minutes before using it again.
• Do not store the air compressor in high-temperature or humid environments.
• When not in use, disconnect the air compressor from all power sources.
• The air nozzle is compatible with all Schrader Valves. Appropriate for use with cars, small trucks, SUVs, motorcycles and bicycles. The air compressor is not intended for use with high-pressure or large-vol­ume applications.
• Do not overinflate tyres. Excessive pressure may cause injury.
• Only move the product by its handle. Do not drag the product by pulling the power cord or air hose.
• During use, do not touch any parts of the air compressor apart from the switch and handle. The air compressor gets hot during use and stays hot for some time after.
• Do not use chemicals to clean the air compressor. Only use mild soap and a cloth dipped in hot water to clean its plastic parts.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Ensure that the car’s engine is running before you use it.
2. To ensure a strong connection, securely plug the air compressor into your car’s 12 V outlet.
3. Press the Unit Button to switch units between PSI, Bar and kPa.
4. Use the “+” and “-” buttons to set the desired pressure. Use the tire pressure guide on the inside of the driver’s door for guidance. Make sure that the preset pressure is higher than the current pressure of your tire.
5. Remove the valve cap from the valve stem of your tire, then attach the air nozzle to the valve stem. If you need to illuminate the working area, press the switch on the left side.
6. Switch the Multifunctional Button to “II”, to turn on the LED light.
7. Switch the Multifunctional Button to ”I”, to start the air compres­sor and turn on the light.
8. After inflation is complete, please press the Multifunctional Button to “O”. This will turn off the unit.

MAINTENANCE

Fuse removal and installation

1. Removal: Unscrew the top of the cigarette lighter cable, take the fuse and spring out.
2. Installation: Install the spring in the cigarette lighter first, then install the replacement fuse and screw the top securely.

TROUBLESHOOTING/FAQ

Air compressor will not inflate

• Ensure the in-line fuse is securely and correctly inserted; replace the fuse if necessary.
• Check the vehicle’s cigarette lighter fuse, it should be rated at 15 A.
• Ensure there is a strong connection between the power cord and 12 V socket.
• Preset tyre pressure is lower than the current tyre pressure, increase the preset tyre pressure to the manufacturer-recommended level.

Air leaking through the hose
Ensure there is a firm connection between the air nozzle and the tire valve.

An air compressor is operating abnormally

• The inflation nozzle is not properly connected to the tyre’s valve stem.
• The 12 V socket is not connected securely.
• Preset tire pressure is lower than the current tyre pressure, increase the preset tyre pressure to the manufacturer-recommended level.

Slow inflation

• The inflation nozzle is not properly connected to the tire’s valve stem.
• Excessive use will slow the inflation rate of the pump. Let it cool for at least 1 D minutes before resuming use.
