IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE AND SAVE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the following:

INTENDED USE

  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
  • This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
  • Use the appliance only for intended indoor and outdoor purposes as described in this User Manual. Any other use is not recom­mended that may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

ELECTRICITY SAFETY

  • This appliance must be provided with the correct voltage via a professionally installed power socket. Make sure the voltage indicated on the label of the appliance is the same as your local supply.
  • DO NOT use the heater with a damaged cord or plug. Do not use if it is dropped or has visible signs of damage. Discard the heater, or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons.
  • This heater draws up to 1500W of power. To prevent overloading of the electrical circuit, do not plug into a circuit with other applianc­es already connected.

RELATED TO USE

  • DO NOT attempt to disassemble, repair, modify or replace any part of the appliance. No user-serviceable parts inside. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only.
  • DO NOT run the cord under the carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route the cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange the cord away from traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over.
  • A heater has hot or arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are used or stored.
  • To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains, or any other flammable material a minimum distance of 3 feet (0.9 meters) from the air outlet.
  • DO NOT touch or hold the mains plug with wet hands.
  • DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock, fire or damage to the heater.
  • Always unplug the heater before cleaning, making any repairs or servicing, or whenever not in use. To disconnect the heater, turn it off, then remove the plug from the outlet.
  • Normally, there is a trace of smoke or odor when using it for the first time. It will quickly evaporate and should not re-occur.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • Hyperthermia can result in death. Symptoms of hyperthermia include high body temperature, headache, nausea, vomiting, tiredness, dizziness, fainting, and rapid pulse. If you begin to experience symptoms related to hyperthermia, turn off the heater and seek medical attention.
  • To avoid excessive room temperatures which can cause hyperthermia: Do not leave the heater running unattended in a confined space around infants, or individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities.

WARNING : This heater has a voltage rating of 120 volts. The cord has a three-blade, grounding-type plug. An adapter is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The grounding plug extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter should not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available.
DO NOT DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF THE GROUNDED PLUG
WARNING : It is normal for the power cord to feel warm to the touch. Howev­er, a loose fit between the outlet and the plug may cause overheating of the plug. If this occurs, try inserting the plug into a different outlet. Contact a qualified electrician to inspect the original outlet for damage.

EXPLORING YOUR HEATER

In the Box

  • There might be some differences in accessories due to different product batches, the accessories received shall in kind prevail

Tripod Mount

  • 2 ways are available to customize your installation needs. If installed on a tripod, make sure that the heater is set upright on a firm, level surface and the safety guard is properly attached.
  • It is recommended to follow the steps as instructed to facilitate the installation.
  1. Install BracketA
    Move four bolts to the center, align the holes on the bracket A with the bolts, and then tighten with four nuts.

  2. Install Heater on Tripod
    Align the holes on the bracket A, bracket Band the tripod, insert the thumb screw in, then tighten with the thumb nut.

  3. Adjust Height
    Set the heater upright. Loosen the height adjustment knobs, adjust to your desired height, then screw the knobs tight. Insert the pin to secure the pole.

  4. Install Safety Guard
    Insert the safety guard into the back of the heater, then tighten with two screws.

Wall Mount

Make sure that the heater is installed vertically on the wall.

  1. Install Bracket A
    Move four bolts to the center, align the holes on the bracket A with the bolts, then tighten with four nuts.

  2. Install Safety Guard
    Insert the safety guard into the back of the heater, then tighten with two screws.

  3. Install Bracket B on the Wall
    Secure bracket B onto the wall with two expansion bolts.

  4. Install Heater on Wall
    Align the holes on the bracket A and bracket B, insert the thumb screw in, then tighten with the thumb nut.

Using Remote Control

For added convenience, the same control buttons can be found on the remote control. Effective range: 19. 7ft. I 6m ± 30°.

Installing & Replacing Batteries

  • Replace with new battery of the same type (AAA Alkaline) when necessary.
  • When not using the remote control for an extended period, take out the batteries.
  • DO NOT attempt to dismantle the batteries.
  • DO NOT dispose of the batteries in a fire, batteries may explode or leak.
  1. Remove the battery compartment cover along the indicated arrow.
  2. Replace with two new AAA alkaline batteries, making sure the “+” and “-” polarities match.
  3. Install the cover back in place.

Additional Features

Tip-Over Protection
When the heater is tilted or tipped over, it will shut off automatically. Place the heater back on a flat, level surface and remain upright before turning it on again.

Overheat Protection
When the temperature sensor reaches above 302° F, the heater will stop heating. Wait for the heater to resume working automatically.

24-Hour Auto Power OFF
After 24 hours of continuous use, the heater will turn off (standby mode) automatically. Press the Power button to turn it on again if needed.

CARE AND CLEANING

  • Always make sure the heater is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
  • DO NOT clean with abrasive chemicals, cleaning agents or solvents.
  • Never immerse in water or allow water to drip into the motor housing.

Cleaning

  1. Turn the heater OFF, unplug and wait for it to cool down.
  2. Wipe the surface with a soft, slightly moist cloth to remove any dirt or dust.
  3. Clean dust between the grilles with a vacuum cleaner or air duster.

Storage

  1. When not in use for an extended period, clean as instructed.
  2. Cover and store in a cool, dry location with cord arranged away from traffic areas to avoid trip-overs.

My heater does not start

  • Check if the heater is properly connected to a powered electrical outlet and if the voltage indicated is the same as your local supply.
  • Make sure that the heater is installed upright on the tripod or installed vertically on the wall.

My heater stops heating suddenly.

  • Check if you have enabled the Auto OFF timer. Press the power button to turn it on again.
  • The heater is tilted or tipped over and shuts off automatically. Place it back on a flat, level surface and remain upright. Then turn it on again.
  • An overheating alarm has been triggered. Wait for the heater to resume working automatically.
  • The heater will turn off automatically after 24 hours of continuous use. Press the Power button to turn it on again if needed.

Points for attention before use.

  • To prevent a possible fire, do not cover or block the heater in any manner.
  • Always plug directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip). If you insist on using an extension cord or relocatable power tap, make sure that only the heater is plugged in with a rating of at least 1500W.

WARRANTY AND SERVICE

Thank you for choosing the VAGKRI Infrared Electric Heater. This product is covered with VAGKRI product and labor warranty for  12 months from the date of its original purchase

The warranty will not apply in cases of:

  • Accidents, misuse, or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel.
  • Any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purposes.
  • Normal wear and tear of wearable parts.
  • Use of force, damage caused by external influences.
  • Damage caused by non-observance of the User Manual, e.g. connection to an unsuitable mains supply or non-compliance with the instructions.
  • Partially or completely dismantled appliances.
  • Defects caused by or resulting from damages from repairs, service, or alteration to the product or any of its parts that have been performed by a repair person not authorized.

We can only provide after-sales service for products that are sold by VAGKRI or VAGKRI-authorized retailers and distributors. If you have purchased your unit from a different place, please contact your seller for return and warranty issues.
