IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE AND SAVE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed in order to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and/or injury to persons or property, including the following

INTENDED USE

• This product is intended for indoor residential, office, industrial and other commercial applications. Use only with electrical wiring that is in good working order and that meets applicable codes and ordinances.
• While using your fan, you should follow the IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS listed. As part of those instructions, we have use the word WARNING to indicate the level of hazard. WARNING indicates a hazard which, if not avoided, could result in injury to persons.

WARNING: FIRE HAZARD

• DO NOT use near combustible materials or flammable gases or sources of heat. Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint or flammable materials are used or stored.
• DO NOT block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not operate with its ventilation obstructed.
• DO NOT insert or allow any objects to enter any openings of the fan. Doing so may cause electric shock and/or fire hazards, or damage the fan.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

• DO NOT operate the fan with a damaged cord or if it malfunctions, is dropped or damaged in any manner. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any fan is used by or near children, disabled persons or pets and whenever the fan is left operating and unattended.
• Always place and use the fan on a dry, stable, level, and horizontal surface. Make sure the fan cannot be easily knocked over by a person or object.
• DO NOT touch any moving parts. Wait until fully stopped before touching.
• DO NOT operate the fan without fan blades, blade guards or any safety device in place.
• DO NOT run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over. To avoid fire hazard, NEVER route cord under furniture or appliances.
• DO NOT place any clothes or curtains on the fan as they could be sucked into the fan during operation and damage the fan.
• Keep hands, hair, clothing and utensils away from the safety guard to avoid injuries and damage of the fan.
• Always turn the fan OFF and unplug it before cleaning, making any repairs or servicing, or whenever not in use.
• Use this fan only as described in this User Manual. Any other use is not recommended that may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

WARNING: SHOCK HAZARD

• Use your fan only in dry environments. This fan is not intended for use in a bathroom, laundry area, or similar locations, or near sinks, washing machines, swimming pools or other sources of water. Never locate the fan where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
• This fan has a three-prong grounded plug that must be inserted into a properly grounded outlet to reduce the risk of electrical shock. Do not attempt to rig this safety feature.
• Make sure the voltage indicated on the label of the appliance is the same as your local supply.
• DO NOT expose to water or rain. Do not use in damp environments such as flooded basements.
• DO NOT use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.
• DO NOT use with damaged cord or plug. Use with adequate electrical system that is up to code. Avoid use of extension cords.

ASSEMBLING YOUR FAN

• Make sure that the fan is mounted properly and securely before use.
• Strictly follow the steps as instructed to mount the fan properly.

1. Unscrew the tightening knobs and screws on wheel assembly. Set aside for later use.
2. Install the support tubes and secure with the knobs on both sides. Unscrew the preinstalled screws on the support tubes and set aside.
3. Set the feet flat on the ground
4. Install the wheels and wheel assembly onto the base with the screws, washers and sockets in sequence as instructed.
5. Attach the spacer tube and fix with two 5/8″ screws.
6. Attach the fan onto the base. Make sure that the handle and wheels are on the opposite side.
7. Reattach four 3/8″ screws and tighten.

USING YOUR DRUM FAN

• Always operate the fan in the upright position on a dry, stable and level surface.
• Make sure the plug fits tightly in the outlet. To prevent overloading, do not plug the fan into a circuit that is servicing other electrical needs.

CARE AND CLEANING

• Always make sure the fan is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
• DO NOT clean with abrasive chemicals, cleaning agents or solvents.
• Never immerse in water or allow water to drip into the motor housing.

1. Periodically clean the grilles with a vacuum cleaner to prevent dust buildup.
2. To clean the fan blade, unscrew and remove the front grill. Do not take off the fan blades.
3. Clean the grille and fan blades with a soft, slightly damp cloth
4. Reinstall and secure the front grille with screws.
   Allow to dry completely before use.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

• The fan does not start.
  Make sure the fan is properly connected to a powered and grounded outlet and the voltage indicated is the same as your local supply.

• The fan vibrates abnormally.

  • Place the fan on a firm and level surface.
  • Check if the fan is properly and firmly assembled.
  • Make sure the front grille is properly installed back in place after cleaning.

• Excessive noise.
  Check if the grilles and fan blades are clogged with dust or other buildup.
  We recommend that the fan be cleaned regularly.

WARRANTY AND SERVICE

Thank you for choosing VAGKRI Industrial Drum Fan. This product is covered with VAGKRI product and labor warranty for 12 months from the date of its original purchase.

The warranty will not apply in cases of:

• Accident, misuse, or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel.

• Any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purpose.

• Normal wear and tear of wearable parts.

• Use of force, damage caused by external influences.

• Damage caused by non-observance of the User Manual, e.g, connection to an unsuitable mains supply or non-compliance with the instructions.

• Partially or completely dismantled appliances.

• Defects caused by or resulting from damages from shipping or from repairs, service, or alteration to the product or any of its parts that have been performed by a repair person not authorized.
  We can only provide after sales service for products that are sold by VAGKRI or VAGKRI authorized retailers and distributors. If you have purchased your unit from a different place, please contact your seller for return and warranty issues.
