INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE AND SAVE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

  • To avoid overheating, do not cover or block the heater in any manner. DO NOT place anything on the safety guard.
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, DO NOT let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  • Always plug directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap  (outlet/power strip).

When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the following:

INTENDED USE

  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by person responsible for their safety.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
  • This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
  • Use the appliance only for intended indoor and outdoor purposes as described in this User Manual. Any other use is not recommended that may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

ELECTRICITY SAFETY

  • This appliance must be provided with correct voltage via a professionally installed power socket. Make sure the voltage indicated on the label of the appliance is the same as your local supply.
  • DO NOT use the heater with a damaged cord or plug. Do not use if it is dropped or has visible signs of damage. Discard heater, or return to authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons.
  • This heater draws up to 1500W of power. To prevent overloading of the electrical circuit, do not plug into a circuit with other applianc- es already connected.

RELATED TO USE

  • DO NOT attempt to disassemble, repair, modify or replace any part of the appliance. No user serviceable parts inside. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only.
  • DO NOT run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over.
  • A heater has hot or arcing or sparking parts inside. DO NOT use it in areas where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are used or stored.
  • To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains, or any other flammable material a minimum distance of 3.3 feet (1 meter) from the air outlet.
  • DO NOT touch or hold the mains plug with wet hands.
  • DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock, fire or damage to the heater.
  • Always place and use the heater on a horizontal and stable surface.
  • Always unplug the heater before cleaning, making any repairs or servicing, or whenever not in use. To disconnect the heater, turn it off, then remove the plug from the outlet.
  • It is normal that there is a trace of smoke or odor when using it for the first time. It will quickly evaporate and should not re-occur.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • Hyperthermia can result in death. Symptoms of hyperthermia include high body temperature, headache, nausea, vomiting, tiredness, dizziness, fainting, and rapid pulse. If you begin to experience symptoms related to hyperthermia, turn off the heater and seek medical attention.
  • To avoid excessive room temperatures which can cause hyperthermia: DO NOT leave the heater running unattended in a confined space around infants, or individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities

Setting Up

  • Make sure that the base and safety guard are properly attached to the heater before plugging into an electrical outlet.
  1. Assemble 2 Halves of Base
    Align the pegs with slots and snap the front and rear bases in place ****

  2. Assemble Base & Base Plate
    Secure the base plate onto the base with four ST3.5*14 screws.

  3. Attach Base to Body
    Align and attach the assembled base onto the heater body with two M4*40 screws.

  4. Install Safety Guard & Handle
    Set the heater upright on a firm, level surface. Secure the safety guard and handle with six M4*10 screws. Plug in and the heater is ready for use.

Power ON/OFF (Standby)

  • Press once to turn ON or turn OFF the heater.
  • Once you tur it off, there will be a 30s countdown delay for heat dissipation.

Heating Level/Time Adjustment

  • With unit on, press or hold to adjust the heating level (P1-P9).
  • During auto OFF timer setting, press or hold to adjust the time.

Auto OFF Timer

  • With unit on, hold for 25 to activate timer setting, then press + or to set a time (00-24h) to turn off automatically. Wait until the display stops flashing or press Timer button once to confirm your setting.
  • To cancel, hold for 2s, or set timer to 0, or turn the heater off.

Child Lock

  • With unit on, hold for 2s to turn on or cancel child lock. Once the child lock is turned on, all other buttons are unresponsive.

Using with Remote Control

  • Remove the plastic tab underneath battery before use.
    • Effective range: 19.7ft. / 6m.
  • For added convenience, the same control buttons can be found on the remote control.

Installing & Replacing Batteries

  • Replace with new battery of the same type (CR2025, 3V) when necessary.
  • When not using the remote control for extended period of time, take out the battery.
  1. Pinch the locking tab in then hold to pull the battery compartment out.
  2. Replace the battery with the same type, making sure the (+) side facing up
  3. Push in the compartment until securely locked into place.

WARNING

  • Do Not Ingest Battery. Chemical Burn Hazard This product contains a coin / button cell battery.
  • If the coin / button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
  • Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
  • If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
  • The batteries contain materials, which are hazardous to the environment; they must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped and that they are disposed of safely.

Additional Features

  • Tip-Over Protection
    • When the heater is tilted, tipped over or off the ground, it will shut off automatically. Place the heater back on a flat, level surface and remain upright before turning it on again.
  • Overheat Protection
    • When the ambient temperature is above 185°F, the heater will stop heating with beeps and “Hl” on display. Unplug and wait for the heater to cool down before turning it on again.
  • 24-Hour Auto Power OFF
    • After 24 hours of continuous use, the heater will turn off (standby mode) automatically. Press the Power button to turn it on again if needed.
  • Auto Display OFF
    • If no operation is done within 60s after turned on, the display will turn off automatically. Press any button to wake the display up.
  • Memory Function
    • If power is not disconnected, it will always remember your last settings (except timer) when turned back on.

CARE AND CLEANING

  • Always make sure the heater is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
  • DO NOT clean with abrasive chemicals, cleaning agents or solvents.
  • Never immerse in water or allow water to drip into the motor housing.

Cleaning

  1. Turn the heater OFF, unplug and wait for it to cool down.
  2. Wipe the surface with a soft, slightly moist cloth to remove any dirt or dust.
  3. Clean dust between the grills with a vacuum cleaner or air duster.

Storage

  1. When not in use for an extended period of time, clean as instructed.
  2. Cover and store in a cool, dry location with cord arranged away from traffic areas to avoid trip-over.

WARRANTY AND SERVICE

Thank you for choosing VAGKRI Infrared Electric Heater. This product is covered with VAGKRI product and labor warranty for 12 months from the date of its original purchase.
The warranty will not apply in cases of:

  • Accident, misuse, or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel.
  • Any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purpose.
  • Normal wear and tear of wearable parts.
  • Use of force, damage caused by external influences.
  • Damage caused by non-observance of the User Manual, e.g. connection to an unsuitable mains supply or non-compliance with the instructions.
  • Partially or completely dismantled appliances.
  • Defects caused by or resulting from damages from repairs, service, or alteration to the product or any of its parts that have been performed by a repair person not authorized.
