SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
In order to reduce the injuries or damages, follow basic safety precautions applied when using any electrical device, including the following:
- Read the entire instruction manual before you start installation and assembly and keep it for future reference. Keep the manual for future reference.
- Before connecting the device to power supply socket, make sure the voltage indicated on the device corresponds to the voltage in the power supply socket.
- This appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility. The device must be connected directly to the power outlet.
- Device for indoor use only.
- Do not use the device if the grease tray is not assembled.
- Place the device on a flat and stable surface.
- Position the device in a properly ventilated place.
- Do not place the device on fragile or soft surfaces.
- Do not move the appliance while it is operating.
- Danger of burns! During operation the temperature of accessible surfaces can be very high. Therefore use only handles or knobs to operate the appliance.
- Risk of scalding! Hot steam will escape during the grilling process and when opening the upper cover.
- Clean this device in accordance to instructions listed in Cleaning section.
- ALWAYS turn off the device and disconnect it from the mains supply:
- if it’s not operating correctly
- if there’s an uncommon voice when using
- before disassembling the device
- before cleaning
- when not in use
- When you disconnect the power cord of the device, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord/cable.
- Keep the device out of the reach of children. Do not leave children unsupervised with the product.
- This appliance may be used by children who are above 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised and guided by a person who is responsible for their safety in a cautious manner for all the safety precautions being understood and followed. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Children should not perform cleaning and servicing of the device unsupervised.
- Fixed power cable may only be replaced in an authorized service point.

- Do not place the appliance in water or any liquid; nor handle/use it with wet or moist hands.

- DO NOT use this device if the cord or the plug is damaged, or the appliance is broken.
- Do not attempt to repair this device yourself. Only authorized and qualified personnel may repair this device. The device has no user serviceable parts inside.
- Use only authorized accessories.
- Make sure the power cord does not touch any hot or sharp elements.
- This device is suitable exclusively for food preparation. Do not place inside the device anything that is not food.
- To avoid the risk of electric shock, the device is equipped with the grounded plug. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. Do not modify the plug or use any adaptors.
OPERATION
First use
- Take the appliance out of the packaging and place it on flat, stable surface.
- Make sure, that the power supply socket is nearby the mounting location.
- Clean the plates with soft, slightly damp cloth and wait for it to dry.
- Make sure, that the grease tray is assembled.
- Connect the device to power outlet. Red power light and green ready light are on. Let the appliance preheat for about 3 -5 minutes without any food inside. When the green light goes off, the appliance is ready to be used.
Note: During first use there could be an odor. This is normal and is caused by initial heating of the plates. It should not reoccur.
Grilling

Open the cover.*

Cover the plates with small amount of cooking oil or butter with cake brush or paper towel.

Connect the appliance to the power outlet.

Place food on the bottom plate.

Close the cover and adjust the angle.

Grilling time is determined by the type of food or user’s preferences. Regularly check the grilled food.

If food is ready, take it out with wooden or plastic spatula.
Caution: do not use metal or sharp kitchen utensils. -
When grilling is finished, disconnect the appliance from the power supply socket.
Caution: while grilling, the power indicator will turn on and off. It means, that the device is keeping the temperature at correct level.
- Open position: Push the release switch upwards with one hand and at the same time push the upper cover back until it rests flat on the counter.
CLEANING
- Clean the plates with soft, slightly damp cloth.
- In case of hard to remove residues, squeeze some warm water mixed with a detergent.
- The grease tray can be washed in dishwasher.
- Clean the plates and the grease tray after every use.
- Do not submerge the device in water.
- Before storing, make sure the device is cold, clean and dry.
- Before storage make sure that the power supply cable is disconnected.
- The appliance may be stored in an upright position. Use the storage hook to lock the upper cover in place.
