  20. MAKE SURE THE CORD FROM THE CONTROLLER TO YOUR HEATED PRODUCT IS CONNECTED AND LOCKED TIGKTLY.
  21. DO NOT DRY CLEAN The PRODUCT. CLEANING LIQUILD MAY DAMAGE THE INSULATION OF THE HEATING ELEMENT. IMPROPER LAUNDERING MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH THE HEATING WIRE WHICH CAN LEAD TO FIRE.
  22. The PRODUCT IS NOT DESIGNED FOR MEDICAL USE IN HOSPITALS.
  23. The ELECTRICAL AND MAGNETIC FIELDS EMITTED BY THE PRODUCT MAY INTERFERE WITH FUNCTIONS OF MEDICAL DEVICES LIKE A PACEMAKER. PLEASE CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE USE IF YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH A MEDICAL DEVICE.

POLARIZED PLUG:
Plug power cord into a 110-120 volt wall outlet. Do not attempt to force the plug. This appliance has a polarized plug{one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit only one way into an outlet. If the plug does not fit in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.

Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way. If the plug fits loosely into the AC outlet or if the ac outlet feels warm do not use that outlet.

When setting up your heated product be sure to follow these steps in order:

1. locate cord connector on the product near the care instructions label.
2. Do not plug into the wall outlet until you have connected the controller cord to the product
3.To connect the cable to the connector, align the connector and cable arrows and push gently until it locks.
CAUTION, The cable must be fully plugged in. A loose connection could cause a fire hazard.
4. Plug the power cord into al 10-120 wall outlet.
5. Make sure all cords are tangle free and not trapped or pinched in any wag, including but not limited to between mattress and box spring, sofa cushions, against wall, chairs, or other furniture.
6. Do not wrap the controller in the throw while in use
7 .Do not use with generator power.
8. To disconnect the controller, first unplug the cord from the outlet, then pinch sides of the connector and pull apart.

CAUTION:
PLEASE follow these directions in order they are given to ensure the product will work correctly. Do not turn on the product until it has been fully assembled.

How To Use Your Heating Blanket
Before each use, always inspect the product to ensure there is no damage to the power cord, the Control, or the Heating Blanket .

  1. The Heating Blanket Connector and Control Connector are designed to connect only one way. Align the inner prongs and then push together until Connectors are secure {see Fig.I).Plug the product into a 120-volt AC electrical outlet.

NOTE: If there is no power, make sure the AC electrical outlet is functional and the connection in step 1 is secure. Discontinue use if failure continues.

Using Your Heated Product:

User Tip: The fastest way to preheat is to set the product at the highest heating level after turning on it.
CAUTION: Do not connect the control to the power supply before connecting it to the heated product.
CAUTION: ALWAYS turn the product OFF when not in use.
Note: To restart all products after a power failure, Press the power button and the heated product will begin to warm.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Before Washing or Storing Your Heated Bedding Product:
1. Disconnect power cord from wa II BEFORE detaching control cord from the heated product.
1. Ensure that no cords are slill connected and none of the wires have worn th rough the fabric.
3. Carefully follow al I washing instructions or your heated product may sh rink and possibly cause a fire hazard.

• DO NOT submerge control in water.
• DO NOT dry clean )’Jur heated product, Dry cleaning solvents may damage the wires.
• DO NOT use bleach or cleaning fluids.
• DO NOT use a wringer.
• DO NOT iron )’JUr heated product.
• DO NOT use mothballs or sprays of any kind.
• DO NOT reconnect the heated product or use it until it is COMPLffilY dry.
• DO NOT wash or put into water the power cord or any of the product’s cords.
• DO NOT use analgesic cream in combination with your heated product.

Taking care of your heated product is easy and safe as long as you follow a few simple steps.

Machine Washing
I. Presoak the blanket for 15 minutes in mild soap and cold water.
2. Wash in mi Id soap and cold water on the ‘delicate” or “gentle” cycle in the washer for two minutes. Remember, do not use bleach.
3. Rinse in fresh, cold water.
4 Spin dry in the washing machine. Then gently stretch to its original size.

Machine Drying
Caution, Do not use commercial dryers or the dryers at your local Laundromat.They get too
hot and would damage the wiring of the heated p1oduct.
I. Preheat the dryer on the ‘low”tem peratu re setting for 2 minutes.
1. Place blanket into the dryer and tumble dry for 10 minutes at a low temperature.
3. Remove the blanket while it is still damp and gently stretch it to its original size.
4. Drape the heated product over a clothesline or a shower rod. DO NOT use clothespins
5. Heated product must be COMPLETELY dry before reconnecting the power plug or control plug.

Hand Drying
I. Gently stretch the blanket back to its original size.
2. Drape the heated product over a clothesline or hang over a shower rod.DO NOT use clothespins.
3. Heated product must be COMPLETELY dry before reconnecting the power plug or control plug.
