free space around it for proper circulation and removal of excess heat (at
least 15 cm). Check that it is placed at a safe distance from flammable
materials or objects.
Switching on for the first time
- Before first use, we recommend switching the empty fryer on for around 20 minutes to remove any grease left over after manufacture and to remove the unpleasant smell of a new appliance.
- During this time, you may notice faint smoke and mild unpleasant smell. It is a normal occurrence that does not affect the correct operation of the appliance. Ventilate the room properly afterward.
Warning:
When carrying the fryer, make sure to hold it safely from the bottom. Never
carry the appliance by the handle.

The rapid air heating technology constantly heats the air inside the fryer, therefore taking the container out for a short time does not affect the cooking process. -
Once the cooking process is completed, a sound alert sounds five times and the fryer switches to standby mode.
-
Hold the container by the handle and very carefully take it, together with the frying basket, out of the body of the fryer. Place the container to a heat-resistant pad.

When the cooking is complete, the container, the frying basket and the food will be very hot. Depending on the cooking time, very hot steam may escape when the container is taken out of the body of the fryer. Be very careful to avoid burns or scalds. Always wear kitchen gloves. -
In order to take the frying basket out of the container, move the cover of the button to release the frying basket and press the button. Now you can take the frying basket out of the container.
Warning:
Do not use the button to release the frying basket unless the container is placed on firm, flat and heat-resistant surface. There is hot oil or juice in the container which might cause serious scalds in case of the container overturning. -
Empty the food from the frying basket. Always hold the frying basket by its handle and wear kitchen gloves. Use kitchen tongs to take out larger pieces of food. Use wooden, plastic or metal kitchen utensils with plastic ends. Do not use all-metal utensils as these may scratch the non-stick surface.

Tips and advice
- The hot air fryer can be used to cook the same dishes as a traditional oven.
- Stir any smaller pieces halfway through cooking for optimal results of cooking. This ensures that the food is cooked evenly.
- You have to adjust the cooking time to the amount of food. The higher the amount of food, the longer cooking time is required. And the other way around.
- Some food may stick to the frying basket during cooking. Therefore we recommend spraying the frying basket with high smoke point cooking oil and then putting the food inside.
- Do not use the fryer to cook food with a high-fat content (e.g. sausages) as this may cause fire.
- You can get crispy French fries by sprinkling a little vegetable oil over them.
- When cooking French fries, the recommended amount is 500 g.
- Dough purchased at the store requires less cooking time than homemade dough.
- Use cooking tins when cooking pies, cakes, salty pies (quiches) or crisp food.
- You can use the hot air fridge to heat food, as well. Set the temperature to 150 °C and the cooking time to 10 minutes.
Warning:
Do not pour oil or other liquids into the container. There is a risk of ignition.
Homemade French fries
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into French fries of the same size.
- Rinse the French fries properly and dry them with a paper towel.
- Pour ½ cooking oil into a large bowl and add the French fries. Carefully dip the French fries in the oil.
- Empty the French fries into a colander and let them drain.
- Place them into the frying basket and fry them.
Note:
It is important to properly dry the French fries before dipping them in the
oil and let them drain before frying. Only in this way you can achieve the
crispy effect.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always switch off the appliance, disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning or any maintenance. Clean the hot air fryer after each use.
Warning:
- Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or other liquids.
- Do not use plastic or metal scrapers, harsh cleaners, chemicals, petrol, solvents or other similar substances to clean any parts of the appliance. The surface finish could be seriously damaged.
Container and frying basket
- Wash the container, and the frying basket in warm water with a little washing-up liquid. Rinse and wipe dry.
- If any food sticks to the frying basket, pour a warm water with a washing-up liquid into the container and place the frying basket inside. Let it work for about 10 minutes and then clean.
Fryer interior space
Wipe the interior with a soft, slightly damp sponge. Dry it with a paper
towel. Use a soft brush to remove dirt from the heater.
Fryer outer surface
- Wipe the outer surface of the fryer with a soft, slightly damp sponge. Wipe dry.
- Make sure the water does not enter the fryer through the vents.
